3 weeks agoSo, I’m not a guy but this place is nice. The atmosphere and staff were friendly and welcoming. Christie has cut my hair since… FOREVER but more like 1990! I lost track of her when she moved from the previous salon but I ran into another of her past clients and he told me where was working. Imagine my delight! Christie is an experienced stylish, in hair of all textures and ethnicities and certainly genders! Thanks Christie!!!2 months agoIt is wedding season. Was able to book effortlessly and find the place no problem. Last minute touch ups to my beard and hair fade and Hannah was spectacular. Super easy to talk to clearly knew her stuff. I enjoyed the layout where it seemed more private and personable versus completely open concept. I will absolutely be back here to continue to keep my hair looking the best version it can be. Once you find a place and connect with someone highly recommend Hannah and this establishment.a month agoGreat service and cut. Way too pricey. 30$ plus tip for 15 minutes. Double the price from a few years ago. Loved the person who did my hair. Very professional and did a great joba month agoOra is very friendly and an extremely talented stylist! She gave me great honest recommendations for my hair style and made my beard look extraordinary dapper! I will be back to The Guys Place!a month agoNope. Never again. Came home and dried the hair, and it’s looks lumpy and uneven with a cut lines throughout the head. Why wasn’t the hair dried at the salon? Not sure. Could not see it in a wet hair. Nothing what was shown on the picture. Disappointed. In respond to the owner… the picture was his a few months ago with original haircut he got in another state. Same hair, same thickness. I don’t think he would go back.

4 months agoThe experience was absolutely amazing! Ms. Jessica greeted me right when I walked in the door. Her warmth set the atmosphere. I did a quick observation before bringing my kids inside to get a haircut. I thank God for leading me to the right place. My oldest shared with me everyone is nice. I concur!!! My youngest had a fear of getting his hair cut with the clippers. Let’s just say I give them 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s. They DID THAT!!!! I definitely recommend if you’re in the Raleigh area to check them out. If you’re not make the trip because you will not be disappointed.Let me add they also have free BOOKS to encourage family reading! Check the photos! It was a really dope experience.
5 months agoCame out to Raleigh from NYC for DREAMVILLE FEST, and needed a haircut the day before and decided to try this barbershop out. I was thoroughly impressed with how professional this place is. They do appointment base, and my appointment started RIGHT ON TIME. I wasn’t expecting that because I know how hard that can be when cutting hair, but they got it done which means they value my time! To make it even better they offered free water on the walk in . . First barbershop I went to that actually do that. Great music to listen to while you wait for your appointment to begin. Everyone there is nice and in good spirits. Got my haircut done by Aaron. Great at what he does! Asked alot of questions and gave me exactly what I paid for. AMAZING 5 star experience all around. Will be here everytime I come back!a month agoIf you ever come in town & need a cut I would recommend you pull up to the Bar Ber shop , first found out about the location from a friend in school & ever since then I haven’t wanted to go anywhere else. I lived in Japan for 3 years came back & met Ginna & I’ve been locked in with her ever since ! But honestly if you book with anyone in the shop I guarantee you’ll leave more than satisfied. Never had a problem with professionalism or booking as long as you show up on time you can get in get a cut have a drink and go on about you day. Definitely a 5 Star experience but don’t just read this review book an appointment !!!2 weeks agoShaunda B. Did an absolute AMAZING job on sons haircut. Very professional and a outstanding personality! I recommend you go see her for men and women such great work!!! Thank You so much ??a month agoNathan was the barber I had, it had been a while since I cut my hair completely down. 4 weeks agoMorgen is amazing!! She cuts my hair perfect every time. Her personality, sense of humor and the banter between us make me laugh so much the entire time. Everyone there is great. I recommend the store in the Harris Teeter plaza on Edwards Mill Rd as one of the best hair salons I’ve been to. Thank you Sport Clips!!a month agoI have been going to this Sports Clips for about 8 months and all of the staff is incredible (I have no preference on who cuts my hair because they all do a fantastic job). One of the new hires, Alicia, stood out to me today above anyone I have ever met in how she approaches customer service. Alicia’s demeanor and glowing personality made my day a better one.9 months agoI visited today to bring my mom whose a senior in for a lady cut. My mom wears a very low tapered cut and has been struggling to find someone where she lives. I did some local research and read all the amazing reviews about Morgen. It has been hard finding someone who will help with upkeep of my mom’s short tapered natural hair cut. She is transitioning out of relaxed hair. I called at opening and Miriam was nice on the phone and told us to stop in.I also used the app to check in so that we could check to see when Morgen was available. There was no wait at all. Morgen was very kind and personable. I really like the theme of this franchise. All women hair stylists cutting hair at a man style cave. This shop is equipped with a big screen, sports chairs and a consistent theme. The men who walked out of the shop looked great. Morgen did a excellent job reshaping and cleaning up my mom’s hair. Thank You !
4 months agoMy son got a great haircut!Aside from that headline, I have 2 points to mention.
1) + (PRO ) The stylist we had, today realized I was concerned about my son’s haircut, based on his last too-short haircut (which he got at a different Sports Clips location, about 6 weeks ago). We had a picture of what he wanted his new haircut to look like. She looked at the picture quickly, but carefully, and invited me to stand right next to her while she worked. I did, not for the purpose of supervising her work, I said, but so that I could learn more about how to cut hair, myself.
2) +/- (PRO and CON) The business model of Sports Clips, like most hair salons, relies heavily on upselling. We were very happy with the $24 basic cut (+ tax and tip), but the stylist felt obligated to use an assumption sale process to upsell us into getting a shampoo, blow dry and hot (facial?) cloth treatment. I wasn’t upset by that. She was just doing her job, and with a smile. I just pleasantly said, “thanks, but we are happy with just the Great haircut you did,” and we walked over to pay, giving her a big tip (see #1, above)
a week agoMorgen was my barber and she did a great job. She was friendly and professional. She cut my hair just like I wanted her to.

Top-Rated Hair Care Products Every Man Should Own
When it comes to hair care, men too need products that will help maintain their locks and keep them looking their best. Whether you have short, medium, or long hair, here are some of the best hair care products for men available in the United States:
1. Shampoo and Conditioner:
- Many men often overlook the importance of using shampoo and conditioner regularly. Look for products that cater specifically to men’s hair needs, such as those designed to address scalp issues like dandruff or oily hair.
2. Styling Gel:
- If you like to style your hair, a good styling gel is essential. Look for a gel that offers strong hold without leaving a greasy or crunchy texture. Consider your hair type and desired style when choosing a gel.
3. Hair Pomade:
- For a more natural and flexible hold, hair pomade is a great option. Pomades are ideal for achieving slicked-back hairstyles, adding shine to your hair, and creating a polished look.
4. Hair Wax:
- Hair wax offers a matte finish and strong hold, making it perfect for creating textured and messy hairstyles. It works well for both short and long hair and provides flexibility for restyling throughout the day.
5. Hair Spray:
- Hair spray is useful for setting your hairstyle in place and providing extra hold. Look for a lightweight formula that won’t weigh your hair down or leave a sticky residue.
6. Dry Shampoo:
- Dry shampoo is a great product to refresh your hair in between washes. It absorbs excess oil and adds volume to your hair, making it an essential product for men with oily hair or those on the go.
7. Hair Oil:
- Hair oil can help nourish and moisturize your hair, especially if you have dry or damaged locks. Look for hair oils that contain natural ingredients and apply a small amount to the ends of your hair to add shine and manageability.
8. Hair Vitamin Supplements:
- For men who want to take their hair care routine to the next level, hair vitamin supplements can provide additional nutrients to support healthy hair growth. These supplements usually contain vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that promote thicker and stronger hair.
Remember, everyone’s hair is different, so it’s important to find the products that work best for you. Don’t be afraid to experiment and try different brands and formulations until you find your perfect hair care routine.

The Ultimate Guide to Men’s Haircut Prices in the U.S
When it comes to getting a haircut, many factors influence the price you’ll pay, especially in the United States. While the average cost of a men’s haircut hovers around $29, this number can fluctuate based on various considerations like your location, the expertise of the stylist, and the complexity of the haircut you desire. This comprehensive guide aims to break down these variables and offer tips on getting a quality haircut without breaking the bank.
One of the primary factors affecting the cost of a haircut is the location. Whether you live in an urban, suburban, or rural area can significantly impact the price you’ll pay at the salon or barbershop.
Average Cost of Men’s Haircuts by Location
Location | Average Cost Range |
---|---|
Urban areas | $30 – $40 |
Suburban areas | $25 – $35 |
Rural areas | $20 – $25 |
As evident from the table, haircuts in urban areas tend to be the most expensive, with prices potentially going even higher in high-end salons in major cities. In contrast, rural areas offer the most affordable options.
If you’re searching for affordability, chain salons and barbershops are good alternatives. Students can often take advantage of discounts to further minimize costs.
