2 months agoI’ve been coming to shear genius for quite some time. I usually go to the one at Plymouth ave but the one on pleasant st it’s closer to me. I booked an appointment with Xavier Adorno online which he canceled at 10:pm the night before my appointment, I rescheduled with him using the app. my son’s appointment was at 11am his coworkers made him aware his 11 o’clock appointment was waiting for him which he responded he didn’t had the time to check his phone and proceeded cutting other people hair. Overall I left at 2pm and another barber have to cut my sons hair. He didn’t even acknowledge us or even apologized for keep us waiting. This was done by Taj at the Plymouth Ave shop which he usually works on North Main.I worked for Ms Shear Genius for quite sometime and it was a great experience had a lot of fun and learned a lot from Ana and Stacey. The barbers (old barbers like Chris,Kenny,Mark,Daryl)we’re on point with all their cuts!I am sorry to say but this looks like my son cut his own hair!! It does not look like it was done by a professional barber. When I tried to get my son to go back inside he was to upset over his cut he wouldn’t. Now I have to take him elsewhere to get it fixed and pay again.SMH!

I have stopped going here as often due to moving situations, but I still make the travel sometimes to get a fresh cut.11 months agoRecently I started going here and getting my hair cut by Josh. Every time has been a positive and fun experience. Josh has done a great job with my hair and has provided great conversation while doing so.I started going here on recommendation from my father in law, and I can definitely recommend it to others. Prices are very fair, and they will give you great attention to detail. Highly recommend this place.

Him and his team are great with kids and my favorite part is the straight edge shave they do to really get you looking clean and smooth.
