Called to pay balance in late April and my last doctor appointment was in March. I asked to pay the entire balance. They just sent me to collections for an appointment in Feb & March which I would’ve paid when I called late April. They didn’t give any warning that I was being sent to collections and the woman I just talked to in billing – said her name is Michelle- was extremely rude and snotty. Absolutely no service. I haven’t even received a statement from the collections agency and Ogden Clinic refused to help. Poor service, and according to these reviews it would appear I’m not the only one. Never been sent to collections in my life. Very poor.

I was seen a few times paid my co-payment saw the Dr. Two years later I am getting sued for a few $5 balances that say was the difference in my co-payment. I never received any bills but now am having to pay $600 for $50 completely ridiculous. I have shown each visit and my payment and yet some how i got charged an extra $5 each time without my knowledge. They also hire the most unethical attorney to do their collections. Never received notice just got served papers.

Super disappointed with Ogden Clinic in fact I will never visit a clinic again. I have double covered on my health insurance plan. Both plans have amazing coverage so I should never have to pay a bill. Ogden clinic billed the wrong insurance. I was working with them we had many talks and I got them the correct cards and all the information. They never billed my insurance company then sent me to collections. This was after they told me they would get it fixed. Not only did they not do that but sent me to collections to pay more. I’m sad they had one easy job and the billing department couldn’t do it.

I have been with Ogden Clinic for decades. I don’t remember when we started but it has been a long time. Dr. West was our Primary Care Physician. She retired and now I cannot get a Dr. there now. I have called several times and all they tell me is the Doctors here don’t take patients with Medicare anymore so I have to find a Dr. somewhere else. I just signed up with Medicare in April. You would think that someone that has been with them for so long, they would find some way to get me a Dr. I was loyal to them but it is screw you to me now. I am 65 and now I have to find a Dr. I will not go back to any Ogden Clinics. I am done with Ogden Clinic. I found a better doctor than they will ever have. Dr. West was the best. I loved her and hope the best for her.

I was hesitant to say anything because I do believe in “praise in public, correct in private” but I’ve been through so many awful experiences with this company that it would be unethical to keep it to myself.

For this experience in particular, it was November 2022. I was in excruciating pain and this was the nearest facility. I’m NOT upset that they ended up sending me to the ER, I’m sure that was the only step they could take to assist. The complaint is entirely about my experience actually there, and then the billing procedures afterwards.

I couldn’t walk. I was carried in. I’m crying, maybe a little hysterical, as I hadn’t slept. I was checked in online. I still ended up waiting for care, in the waiting room, going in and out of consciousness. 30 minutes pass by, then 40, then an hour. There are others in the room, I hear them asking about a cough. First come first serve is fair, but if someone can’t stand, have swelling, and can’t stay awake, that should be a flag of some kind.

When my time finally arrived, explaining its hard for me to lay flat, the physician helped me to lay. Immediate surge of pain. Full 10/10 on pain scale. While I’m crying and writhing, she asks “well what do you want me to do?” After the pain dulls down, she says “I can’t help you, you’ll need to go to the ER.” and leaves. I wish I’d gotten any names, but in these situations all you can focus on is the pain. The nurse who helped me afterwards was great, she located a wheelchair, contacted my partner, and helped me to the car.

I got a BILL after not being helped. Correction, I didn’t receive a bill, I got a contact from collections FIRST and the bill AFTER, months after it happened. I maintain a high credit score, so as you can imagine I was, and still am, furious that I had to pay an agency to not impact my score, for service I didn’t receive.

If your insurance allows, please go to a different company. If not, please go to a different location. I am a generally healthy and somewhat athletic person who has rarely experienced a medical issue that warrants emergency services. The residual emotional and financial impact in my life close to a year later has been unnecessary.

I was extremely hesitant to visit this specific Ogden Clinic location because of the number of negative reviews. I’m glad I chose to go. My experience tonight (7/19/23) was very pleasant from start to finish! Mackenzie greeted me & my husband with a smile as we arrived at approx. 7:20 PM, then got me checked in quickly. The nurse was also super friendly as she took my vitals. Dr Amann listened to my complaints & concerns before diagnosing me with a sinus infection, ordering lab work & prescribing antibiotics. Alexis did an incredible job drawing my blood & has a super friendly disposition! I felt very well taken care of by the entire staff at this Ogden Clinic location & was pleased with the high level of medical care I received. I would recommend them to others!

Had a good experience the first time I came here, the doctors were nice. Unfortunately the second time I came here I checked my sick baby in for urgent care but didn’t have his medical info yet, the receptionist reassured me that he was on the list just to call back (they had us wait in the parking lot since he is sick). When I called back with his information the other receptionist, Riley, was rude and didn’t show any regard for my baby’s wellbeing. She informed me that he was being moved to the bottom of the list since they didn’t have his insurance information when I first called. She wouldn’t listen, kept interrupting when I tried to explain how we had been told we would have a spot on the list. I am on a limited time frame, so now I have no choice but to leave with my sick child never getting the chance to be seen. Really a shame, I wasn’t expecting to be treated like trash when I was trying to get help for my baby. I can’t believe how rude she was!

This will be the last time I go to the Ogden Clinic in Roy! This place use to be my first pick. I don’t know what has happened in the last few years but I will NEVER come to this place again. My insurance allows me to go to many different clinics outside of Ogden clinic and it’s affiliates and best believe I will definitely choose one of the others. I don’t know what needs to be done but reading through the reviews there are others with the same opinion as mine. Hopefully someone that can make a difference really pays attention to these reviews and does something about it.

What a horrible staff this Saturday 8-20-2022. The front staff did not exceed my expectations for caring for their patients. Very rude and disrespectful. Especially the black MA did not care at all. I do not recommend this place especially with staffing. The only individual that was professional and kind was the provider that took care of me and my needs. The front desk needs to grow up and do their jobs properly and learn how to be professional.

The only thing positive I have to say about this clinic is that they were open on Sunday. Dr. Enrique Baires and his office staff were very unprofessional and rude. I will not be going back. If I’m sick again on a Sunday, I will wait until another clinic is open on Monday. The worst medical treatment I’ve received in all my 57 years.

No money, no care. We called to set an appointment, because we were referred by McKaydee ER to go to them for follow up. We’ve been referred to them in the past and had a bad experience. We did owe a medical bill that they then sold to Express Recovery, that is now being recovered by debt lawyers. Today, when we tried to set up an appointment, we were told, we cannot set it up until the bill is paid, even after our account has been sold. This is how debt collectors get a hold of you, companies like Ogden Clinic sell unpaid accounts to collections and they get paid. In fact, everybody gets paid and nobody cares if the individual is experiencing hardship along with medical conditions. This all business, no heart. I wouldn’t recommend that you go through this clinic or any of their branches. If you have the money, then go for it, you’ll still get a sub par care.

Made an appointment over the phone so I would be able too get my child’s shots , I came in the very next morning at 9:30 so I would be able get it taken care of & the receptionist didn’t even know what she was doing on the computer and also told me somehow the appointment never scheduled so they refused my child & didn’t even offer too just take her in because we already wasted our time going down there. Don’t go there.

I had been trying to get a hold of someone all morning and finally someone answered and was super nice and listening to everything and asking questions. After she discovered my boyfriend was throwing up a lot of blood she recommended we go to the urgent care and just walk in to be taken care of asap. however when we walked in the lady at the front didn’t even make eye contact with us when we wanted to just make sure we were in the right place then she proceeded to take her sweet time. My boyfriend is in clear pain so we go to sit down and she never cares to let us know she is available to help now and instead proceeds to help other walk ins. we decided to go home so that he could lay down so that maybe he will feel better later today to even get in the car and make that drive again… very disappointed

We had gone to the Mountain View Ogden clinic urgent care and hour before they closed. Our kiddo had an injury and was bleeding. They told us that they had reached their cap for the day and couldn’t see us (jaw drop here). We were the only ones in the clinic and there was a couple of cars in the parking lot. Clearly not busy. They told us we could go to the 12th street clinic. We went to the Ogden clinic on 12th street. Walked in there 30 minutes before they closed. They greeted us with smiling faces and were eager to help. They did have other patients there and more cars in the parking lot. They took us right back, got an x-rays, straight to the room, the nurse cleaned our kiddos wounds. She was very gentle and caring. The doctor immediately followed her in with the results of our xray and a care plan. We were in and out in 25 minutes. The staff there was friendly, kind, caring, and thorough. We’d highly recommend the clinic on 12 street.

Planning to Visit a Family Doctor? Here’s What You Should Consider!

24 Hour Clinic in Ogden UT
24 Hour Clinic in Ogden UT

When visiting a family doctor in the United States, there are several things to consider to ensure a smooth and effective visit. These considerations include:

  • Insurance Coverage: Before scheduling an appointment, it is important to verify if the doctor accepts your insurance plan. This will help avoid unexpected out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Appointment Availability: Check the availability of appointments and whether the doctor’s schedule aligns with yours. It is beneficial to find a doctor who can accommodate your needs.
  • Location and Accessibility: Consider the proximity of the doctor’s office to your home or workplace. Also, check if public transportation and parking options are available.
  • Specialty or Focus: Assess if the family doctor has expertise in the specific area of care you require. Some doctors may specialize in certain age groups, conditions, or treatments.
  • Referral Requirements: Be aware of any referral requirements your insurance plan may have. Some plans may require a referral from a primary care physician before seeing a specialist.
  • Doctor-Patient Relationship: Research the doctor’s qualifications, experience, and patient reviews to ensure a good fit. A strong doctor-patient relationship is essential for effective healthcare.
  • Communication and Language: Consider the doctor’s communication style and whether they can effectively communicate in your preferred language. Clear communication is crucial for understanding and managing healthcare.
  • Office Policies and Procedures: Familiarize yourself with the doctor’s office policies, such as appointment cancellation policies, prescription refills, and after-hours care options.

By considering these factors, you can have a more successful and efficient visit to a family doctor in the United States.
