  Check in was easy since I had scheduled an appointment. The lady at the front desk was nice. The assistant and doctor that I saw today we’re both very nice. The doctor was able to provide comfort and ease throughout the whole exam and explain everything she was doing with consent. She provided options for me, as well. Overall a pleasant experience.

  My experience here has been mostly great! Some of the physicians assistants and nurse practitioners have left me feeling like they rushed me a little. But at the end of the day it’s an urgent care! And when you need an urgent care, you need an urgent care. Parking lot leaves a little to be desired!!

  Shout out to Jessica for managing to draw blood from a turnip today! My veins are tiny, deep, and flighty and she managed to stick me successfully on the second try *and* get an entire second full vial of blood out of me. Commendable determination. Truly a magician. Thank you, Jessica!

  Everyone was extremely helpful. My 90 year old Mom needed her antibiotic urgently and the staff did everything possible to accommodate my request on a Saturday (no appointments were available). I am so grateful to Stefanie and everyone who took care of my mother.

  This is hands down the best vet we have ever been to. Worth a 40 minute drive in a flash flood. Our cat needed to urgently be seen, and they were the only ones willing to help us. The team was very caring, quick, and considerate to not only our cats feelings but ours as well. They communicated each step with us thoroughly and put our minds at ease. It only took us about 2 and a half hours for our cat to have his whole appointment. I wish they were a primary care office, the sweetest people ever.

  Klaus woke up at 5 am on Friday & puked 10x in the span of a half hour. He wouldn’t eat, drink, & was super lethargic. His regular vet wasn’t open on the weekend & we were recommended to come here by their emergency line & other people as well from the town Facebook group. We got there Saturday a little before 10am. He loves his vet & so I was nervous taking him to some place new to establish emergency care. VEG made sure to make us feel right at home. They fed us multiple times(which, they didn’t need to)(we were there 10am-midnight Saturday & all day Sunday into Monday at 930am) they took care of Klaus & over-explained everything at every step to make us feel better. They even put us in a private room away from everyone to relax & get comfortable. Every 15-30 min they’d come in & ask if any of us needed anything. By check out, every one of the girls on the way out let us know to stop at the front desk to make sure to get us refunded for what we didn’t end up using. That’s so honest of them & I am just so grateful for how much care they have given us all.

  Between 3 x-rays, 2 ultrasounds, numerous blood tests, 2 paws of IV fluids, it was determined there was an obstruction on Sunday & he needed surgery. We were given permission & watched everything. That gave us such peace of mind that we were with our baby every step of the way.

  Thank you tremendously to Heather D, for going above and beyond for us. Our experience here has been nothing short of incredible because of you. But thank you especially to the rest of the staff: Jill, Millie, Jennifer, Jasmine, Makayla, Heather C, Josh, Jake, Khangelani, Alissa, Kayla, Sophie, Kathrine, Ethan, Meghan, for making us feel like we can come back to VEG with Klaus & know that he’s in good hands with you all. He’s our pride & joy & we’re so lucky we came across this office. Klaus is out of surgery now & recovering well at home. We’re so happy we came to VEG. If this was any other vet, I don’t think we’d have this kind of experience. None of us would have been comfortable, especially leaving him behind. I would rate this a 10 out 5 stars. 10/10 recommend. Bring your pet here. They will be loved & cared for. They’re in wonderful hands. I hope you enjoyed your bagels & spreads!

  All staff member I encountered related to my pet and unrelated to my pet was wonderful. We were warmly welcomed and helped very quickly. All other area urgent cares or hospitals declined seeing my pet due to capacity issues and others had EXTENSIVE wait times. This was a pleasant experience and worth the 45 minute ride. Dog had a puncture wound likely from running into a branch. Half dollar size hole pretty deep was my dogs issue. Thankful they were able to see us rather quickly and I was present with my dog the entire time. I watched everything they did.

  If you need emergency care for your pet, VEG is the place to go. They have the staff and the equipment needed to do emergency care, 24/7. The service is attentive, reassuring and every treatment is discussed. Even the documentation for your visit is detailed, and very organized. You and your pet are in good hands.

  I brought my cat Titan here at the recommendation of my vet and my best friend because he has severe heart disease and was having some labored breathing. I could not be happier that I did. I have had to come back several times with Titan in the past few days and they are aware of how stressed he gets at the vet and how fragile his condition currently is and they always rush me right back into a private quiet room even if they are packed, just so I have somewhere quiet to sit with him instead of being in the busy waiting area. Every exam is so thorough and they really take a big picture approach to my cat’s health, which is so appreciated given the complexity of his condition. They explain every procedure in detail, break down the costs, explain the purpose of each medicine and how they work/what they do, all without needing to be asked! They ask lots of questions to get the whole picture and visibly take notes. They’re also very willing to answer questions over the phone – I love that I’m able to talk to the doctor directly over the phone if I have a concern or am wondering if I should bring my cat in. I have had to call a number of times and each time they were patient and thorough. I was also happy that they did not just urge me to bring my cat in for every little thing like some vets do – they were very careful with Titan’s stress levels and understood that physical visits needed to be limited as much as possible. I’m just so impressed with the level of care, concern, and kindness I have experienced with this emergency vet. The costs have been steep, but honestly nothing absurd considering it is a 24-hour emergency vet and my regular vet would probably not cost too much less considering how much time and how many procedures/medications he has had done. Thank you to everyone who has helped Titan and me!

  It was the worst experience ever. I went to the clinic with really bad flu symptoms. I was coughing up green stuff and was told that it was a viral infection and all I needed to do is drink fluids and take tylenol every four hours. I had a strep test done and they said they would call me in a couple of days. I waited 3 days and called them to see what my results were and still they had to call me back because they did not have the results. I asked for an extended doctors note and they wanted me to go back again. I feel that I should not have to pay a copay again to see them so they can give me the same recommendations/results again. The nurse said I had to go see another doctor if I wanted to get another note. Terrible service overall.

  Humiliating. I was a walk in and had 2 people in front of me. When they left the 2 attendant’s ignored me for 10 minutes (felt like I was the wrong profile). A third person came over to check me in. I was told it would be about an hour or so. Around 1.5 hours they took me to a room and I had to put on a gown. The doors to the room were mostly frosted glass in a major foot traffic spot. They did not pull the curtain to provide privacy. Of course I did. It took them another 1.5 hours to see me. Again, they opened the curtain so I was in some form visible. The Dr.was a good , correct diagnostic, etc. 7 days latter did a follow up at a Convenient Care–big difference in service treated like a person. I will NEVER go a Beth Israel Facility again

  Definitely the best experience I’ve had receiving medical care in Boston! Everyone on the medical staff was so kind and friendly. One nurse in particular was so compassionate and sweet to me, I was blown away. It really meant the world to me to be taken care of with such empathy – I just had to leave a review.

  We came on a Friday afternoon, my 8 yr old son had a sport injury at school, his pinky was swollen and hurt a lot

  Very short wait, saw a nurse and doctor quickly, did an x-ray. Fortunately it was not a fracture, they gave him a splint

  The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Service was quick, and we only paid $20 copay (I hope we won’t get a big bill by mail…) since it’s not an ER

  Overall much better than going to an ER at a big hospital
