  We were denied medical care here, despite the sign out front stating “all patients welcome.” We are visiting from out of state. Our daughter has a UTI. We initially presented our insurance card to see if we were covered. They did not accept our insurance, which is understandable. What is NOT understandable or in anyway acceptable is that we were not permitted to pay for care out of pocket. We spoke with two staff members who stated that because we have insurance (which they don’t accept) they will not allow us to pay for services. If we hadn’t shown an insurance card, they would have taken out of pocket payment. I can’t even believe this is legal. We are being refused care for having insurance.

  First visit ever to Dr.. Mike’s. Staff were very friendly and quick. The wait wasn’t long at all and no one made me feel like I was a burden for being there. They actually seemed to enjoy their jobs. 🙂

  The receptionists were kind & professional. Dr. Brewah was amazing with caring for & listening to my daughter’s concerns! We felt comfortable and seen! It was also very refreshing that she looked like us! We are very pleased with our visit!

  The nursing staff was great. However the actual visit with the Dr wasn’t the best. We waited about 3 hours just to interact with the doctor for about 2 mins. Left with a prescription for antibiotics but he didn’t even bother to let us know what I actually had or if it was contagious. I’d say the only thing that needs improvement is the doctors interaction with the patient

  Sep 8 I was diagnosed positive with Cobid 19. I had an appt with Dr Mikes office by phone on Friday 9. Dr called me and very respectfully and patiently explained to me my problem. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the medicine he prescribed for me to help me combat the symptoms of the disease. The pharmacy tried to contact the Dr. several times ,unfortunately there was no response from the Dr. The Dr returns to the Clinic in tree days. I am in the process of recovery and I hope to come out well without the Antiviral medications he prescribed to relieve the symptoms of the disease.

  I would not take your children here, your mother, father , sister or anyone. They denied to see my 2 year old daughter and they said if I’m so concerned how my daughter is to take her to the nearest emergency room. The nurses and doctors were so rude and not professional at all .

  I was very disappointed with their service today. In the past I would’ve scored them higher but they have implemented ridiculous policies and then made it difficult for families to comply.

  I went with my very sick 13 yr old that I had to help walk into their intake area. At the counter I was asked if we had masks and we didn’t. The nurse then explained we can buy a mask for $1. Whatever, I complied. I didn’t bring cash. She says cash only!!

  How ridiculous! I’m having an urgent need with my daughter and the nurse (standing behind a glass window AND wearing a mask) told me I could drive down to a liquor store to see if they have an ATM for $2 so I can where a mask and look as ridiculous as them!

  I was furious and walked out. You can’t reason with stupid!

  I have gone here not only for myself but my child on separate occasions and have experienced nothing but great service. Not only is the facility kept up and clean but the customer service is always pleasant and welcoming. Sylvia and Katie, thank you for you kindness and warm welcome. Jesus, thank you for your professionalism and making me comfortable. Marcus Riley (NP) thank you also, for your professionalism and your patient care. Everything, was an overall well experience and I would definitely recommend this facility for patient care.

  I like this urgent care as the staff is quick to help you and the practitioners genuinely care; however they don’t always tell you everything you need to know. I came back in because of the same symptoms as the prior visit and they told me they would not be able to see me as I needed to make an appointment with my PCP. Please let me know I need to do that when I see you initially! Otherwise an good urgent care. Wear your mask; they will charge $1 for masks as they are MANDATORY in health environments like this and if you don’t bring your own, that’s on you.

  Just took my daughter and myself into this urgent care and we were there at 8am, we were seen immediately and EVERYONE working was so incredibly kind and prompt!! The nurse practitioner was so nice and funny. It was the best visit I’ve ever had to an urgent care!! Each of these employees deserves some type of recognition!! Please don’t ever stop being the light!!!

  Front desk has positive attitude when calling or checking in, back office is caring and informative and Dr.Phaguda is respectful and thoughtful of his patients he is also responds to messages the same day.   I am a patient in my eighties. Dr Phaguda has been my physician since 2006. He is always caring, attentive and invests a lot of his time explaining alternatives. He even discusses medication costs with me, and works with me to identify better ways to deal with my issues. His staff are friendly and helpful if I need to reschedule my appointments when it is necessary.

  Every time I go to this clinic, I get great medical care, and have never had a bad experience. The front office medical assistant Mayra, is very pleasant and always smiling. The physician Dr. Phaguda who is Board Certified in Family Medicine (very important to us) gives my family and I the time to answer all questions. Easy to call in and make appointments, and short wait time. The staff mentioned to me that they schedule patients in a way so they get to have adequate time with Dr. Phaguda (not double-booking like most physician offices). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone
