  My husband and I were able to register online 30 minutes before the appointment. When we arrived, the staff were already ready to see us. The triage was quick and easy with only necessary components (vitals) and questions asked. We were given proper expectation for the point of care test wait times. The provider printed all relevant information for any questions we would have, and sent us on our way. It was a prompt, professional, efficient experience as an urgent care clinic should be.

  I had an exceptional experience at the AFC urgent care Danbury. From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly attentive and efficient. The care I received during treatment was top-notch, and I felt like I was in capable hands throughout the entire process.   Office is clean and staff courteous and responsive. It is urgent care and the most critical patients are seen first. Happened to me, went in seeking treatment for a cold and the practitioner was preforming 2 procedures. The staff informed us waiting that it could be some time since there was just the one practitioner on duty. I came back later and was seen in a reasonable amount of time by the doctor. He was knowledgeable and professional.

  It started off fine, and I liked that I could see where I was in line, but then that stopped working. What should have been a 1 hour wait ended up being 2.5 hours. And the people behind the check in desk did NOT push people to wear masks even though your door said it was required. One girl came in to be tested for TB and no one said anything about a mask. The doctor and nurse were nice but the check in members…not so much. They had reached capacity for the night and the check in crew would stand there and weren’t telling people right away which made them frustrated as well.

  Just went to urgent care and saw kateland, pa and her assistant Alex they were amazing!!! Both professional and very nice. And to top it off I didn’t have to wait for over and hour.

  We went to AFC for my daughter who injured her ankle during a hockey game. The receptionist Zipporah was extremely helpful and get us set up quickly as new patients and with help getting there as we are not from the area. The facility was clean and all of the staff was helpful, we got X-rays and the results very quickly. I would highly recommend.

  While there was bit of a wait, I couldn’t have gotten an appointment with my primary care Dr for several days so grateful I got in and out as quick as I did. The Dr was an excellent. She took the time to explain my options and was very thorough and friendly. I am on my way to recovery!

  The staff was very nice. I made an appointment was brought back to the room 10 minutes after my appointment time then sat in the room for a long time before the doctor came in then did a urine sample and then waited again for the doctor. I literally thought I was going to be left in the room because they were ready to close. My appointment was at 6pm and I left around 7:30pm. I was with the doctor 10 minutes the most in total.

  Very long wait. Sat in freezing exam room for too long waiting for Dr. Dr was very kind and nice and X-ray tech very pleasant and competent. Admission front desk man very slow and distracted maybe he was new. I’ll probably not return unless life threatening situation

  I love everything operationally about this place. The staff are friendly and work well. My only issue is the fact that one doctor handles everyone and it causes such a delay in service. I believe if they had a nurse practitioner on payroll that would help them to alleviate the slow service.

  I was in 9th place when checking in, waited 2.5 hours to be seen for 3 minutes; told what I already knew I had and prescribed what I couldn’t buy over the counter. I think it’s ridiculous when you think about it.

  I went to AFC for the second time on August 28, having had a very good experience the first time a year ago. This time was quite different. I arrived at 12:41pm and was told I would be seen at 1:39 and could come back rather than wait. I decided to stay and my name was finally called at 2:25. I have to say that the two people at the front desk were very kind and asked if we wanted water and apologized for the delay. The tech who took me in, Gabriella, was also very nice and helpful and concerned. The PA finally came in after another wait. Looked at my issue and walked out and asked the tech to take care of my bandage. I waited from 12:41 to 2:25 to have the PA stop for a minute to look at my infected ankle so he could order an antibiotic! I am sorry but I don’t understand why an Urgent Care place has only one person to look at many patients. I thought they were there to alleviate this problem. Very clean by the way! Better than a lot of other Urgent Cares and terrific staff!

  Absolutely the worst dr. I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I came in because a few nights ago, I suddenly lost all sense of hearing in my left ear and my right ear is starting to diminish, for Absolutely no apparent reason. She took 2 seconds to look at my ear and told me there was nothing wrong. There is absolutely no reason for my hearing loss, and asked me if I was sure I couldn’t hear. Like what???? When she asked me what medication I take, I Informed her of a certain medication I take daily which is extremely well known, and has only 1 reason for use.(Methadone) She had no clue what it was or why I was taking it. Completely incompetent. She even went as far as guessing why I would lose my hearing on one side. How is it that I a regular person with no medical training can tell you what’s wrong with me but a Dr. Can’t wrap their minds around the idea of an inner ear infection or wax blockage. It’s such a simple fix. I walked out and refused service.

  The Staff at AFCucw were great. So friendly and patient each and every member from the Front Desk staff, to the nurses and Provider. They were extremely busy and the ladies were all kind and patient. No stress in their voices. My husband came here twice and raved about the care and attention he got.   Brought my son in to this urgent care and I was so happy I chose this location. Staff was friendly, registration was swift and wait time for seeing the doctor was literally 15 minutes. Doctor was friendly and knowledgeable of my sons medical needs which made me feel so comfortable. I will definitely be returning to this location for any urgent medical needs my family may have.
