in the last weekI have had two great experiences here. The wait was short, the care was timely and exceptional, and the staff was kind. Yesterday I was in for a follow up to see if I had glass in my thumb. X-ray was available, and it showed glass. The PA, Tom, told me that he could try to “excavate”, but if he couldn’t get it, I would have to go to a hand surgeon. Everyone kept telling me that it was my lucky day that he was there, because most people wouldn’t operate, they would send me to a surgeon. Tom found the glass and we celebrated with a lot of stoke! It was actually an all around enjoyable experience, and I would say “fun”.a month agoI got in and out very quickly for my TB test. I registered on line and picked an appointment time. Wonderful staff! Clean and comfortable waiting room and patient rooms. Glad this is an option for my family. I heard they will carefully screen patients and refer to proper care so you don’t have to pay to be seen at AFC and then pay when they transfer you! They will give IV antibiotics and fluids if necessary and not charge and for an ED visit. So many ER/urgent cares and urgent cares will charge you for an ED visit if they have to give you an IV or transfer you to an ED. It’s insane. Thank you to the NP owner of AFC for starting this up.a week agoHad never used this urgent care. Website made it easy to make an appointment and complete preliminary paperwork. Easy location. Staff members were all pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend AFC Urgent Care and would use them again if needed.in the last weekI was sick. I needed help. I was put into an exam room and forgotten about. I will never go there again and do not recommend it. I will never forgive them.The response I received does not justify or explain being left alone in an exam room for over 30 minutes. No staff ever came into the room and I finally had to walk out by myself. This is totally unacceptable, no matter what else was going on (and for the record I don’t believe that there was a critical patient — I think I was forgotten about).
a month agoEveryone at AFC was so nice and helpful! We went for a walk-in sports physical, and there was not much of a wait. The doctor and tech were both engaging and friendly. I love supporting a small local business- I highly recommend this one!

a week agoHaven’t been seen yet, over an hour. Just to fill out paperwork. Fun fact! If you see someone come in bleeding and they take them to the back, they’re not cutting line. They just don’t want us bleeding in front of other patients while we wait.a month agoI got in and out within about 15 to 20 minutes for a simple TB test, probably one of the most efficient urgent cares I’ve been to. The people at the front desk were super nice, as well as the MA (I think they were an MA) that did the test.4 months agoThis Concentra was excellent at taking care of what I needed. I needed a TB test, placed and read, so two visits, exactly 48-72 hours apart. They knew this without my having to remind them, which I have had to do at times elsewhere. It’s very important that this be done properly and that the documentation be accurate and passed on to my company quickly and these folks nailed it. The patient areas were neat and clean, staff was friendly and efficient and very professional. I have had this procedure done multiple times in different states over the years, this facility was one of the best at making sure things got done right. I would definitely recommend them!a week agoOnly one physician on Wednesdays. I waited OVER THREE HOURS for a physical and drug test screening for a job, when really they should have just told me to go home and do this a different day. I find it unethical to accept walk ins on days that they aren’t capable of managing them. I didn’t get paid for my time, but I’m sure they did.a week agoTrying to get seen at any location is darn near impossible! I’ve been to two of them today, only to be turned away. One because they don’t have an xray machine (even through thr website says so) and the other because they are too busy. Healthcare at its finest! Hopefully no one is dying thay they are turning away.

4 months agoI brought my foster cat in on a Sunday morning. My experience was hands down one of the best vet experiences I have ever had. The staff was professional and calm and compassionate. The facility was modern and extremely clean. The vet knowledgeable and amazing and coordinated an Ultrasound to confirm her original diagnosis of an intussusception. Because of the efficiency of VEG, I was able to get my foster to a board certified surgeon that day so she could get the lifesaving surgery she needed. Hands down, I would recommend VEG for any emergent needs.2 months agoMy pup cracked the mail on one of her paws. From the moment we walked through their door, everyone treated us with sincere care and concern. We loved the layer back atmosphere and comfortable waiting areas in the open emergency room. The staff took care of the nail and I was able to stay close and soothe my pup. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I will definitely bring either of my dogs to the Veterinary Emergency Group again if we need them!a week agoWhat an incredible facility!! I called in advance and they put me on the phone with a vet immediately to start figuring out a plan. I was so beyond impressed with the kindness, professionalism, and support from each and every person I spoke to here – even those just walking by for a pet! From the front desk staff, tech staff and vets – absolutely amazing. I was in/out with X-rays done in less than 30 minutes and was by my dogs side the entire time. I was so impressed throughout my experience here and still am shocked at how flawless and wonderful the experience was. I was very nervous, and the amazing and incredible staff here went about my dogs emergency in such an amazing manner. I cannot recommend this facility enough. I hope nothing warrants an emergency vet visit – but if you have one – you must go here.a week agoThe experience that my cat, and I had at Veterinary Emergency Group was extraordinary and so different that I was quite in awe of the whole experience.!! When you walk in, there’s a large room and it is immaculate , clean there are tables set up it is extraordinarily efficient and organized. And a kind person greeted me immediately, and said so slow and asked what we were there for then quickly took us to our own special CLEAN table where you will be the whole time. The veterinarian came up with in just a couple of minutes and checked on my cat to make sure he was ok and he did come right back and checked him found out he had a urinary tract infection through the urinalysis. I was so grateful to know that he was OK and he was given antibiotics and very attentive treatment by both the veterinarian and the nurse who assisted. I wish I had the names a little better in my memory, but I think the doctors name was Stephen. All in all a very warm, caring and compassionate group with a really great model I think for being able to stay with your animal the entire time, and he was cared for in such a way that he was not afraid . And I was very confident in the way he was being treated and the best part is I never had to leave his side. I have always had a difficult time when I’ve taken an animal to the ER and they take him in the back and my cats mortified and I’m upset and there was none of that here. It was absolutely wonderful . And very reasonably priced I will say I was quite shocked about the pricing was so fair! This will be my go to place should my cat or any other animal that I have need help. I highly five star plus recommend this place you can’t beat kindness and caring and getting to stay with your animal . They were also very adept and quick at the diagnosis by the way!2 months agoI took my dog Alastor here when he hurt his paw on a Sunday morning and everyone else was closed, I didn’t know what to expect but I was so impressed with the entire interaction! Everyone was friendly and helpful and made it so much less stressful. They treated him quickly and thoroughly and I love that I got to be next to him the entire time. Hopefully I won’t need emergency services again but if I do this is absolutely where I will be going!
