a week agoHad two diagnostic procedures prior to surgery. The check-in process was easy, although it was slow with only one receptionist. The diagnostics smoothly without incident. Staff was friendly.Check-in the next day for surgery was also easy, but slow again. The wait for Pre-Op was a little long. My Pre-Op nurse was very nice and kept me informed and comfortable. My procedure was almost 2 hours later than scheduled, but took place nonetheless without issues.
My stay in my room, the food, and nursing staff were all fine – no issues. The delays, for whatever reasons, are the only negatives to report.
3 months agoThis was the best experience I’ve ever had at an emergency room. They were all very nice and fast. They had me back in 5 minutes with an IV in my arm and the Dr talking to me. What a great staff. I was very scared and they were so good to me. I wish the hospital where I lived was like this. Thank you so much for taking care of me. My total time there was maybe an hour and half. If it was where I live it would have been 8 hours and 3 of those would have been in the waiting room. Again thank you so much.3 weeks agoThese people took care of me like I was family! They made me very very comfortable fulfill every request I threw at them and overall made the experience completely bearable. I have to give a huge thank you to my nurse Sabrina who absolutely bent over backwards for me, she is a credit to the entire nursing field and should be an example to everyone. And again thank you so much!!!4 weeks agoI think the ER has really improved over the last couple of years. My previous experience from a few years ago was awful, coming in for an allergy attack. However, having intense stomach pain and this hospital being closer than renown, and with current good reviews, I decided to take the chance. I’m glad I did. They got me in triage right away and ran several tests, even an ultrasound quickly. It was decided I needed my gallbladder removed, I was admitted and brought into surgery, at 9am, and discharged around 4pm. The whole team was very friendly and prompt- I know I would have been at Renown much much longer, just in the lobby alone.a month agoI came to the ER after a bad fall with injuries. The high point of my visit was the guy who did my stitches. He did a wonderful job. Otherwise, they did not clean any of my other injuries. They did not bring me any ice or water, despite repeated requests. They would say OK, and then disappear. They seemed very disorganized. I arrived at 2:30 and left at 6 pm.

2 weeks agoSeems trivial, but there were 2 TV’s at opposite sides of the waiting room. Each one was so loud that unless you were sitting near one of them, you would hear both of them. If you did sit near one of them, the volume was way too loud. A lot of noise.Service, price and staff were all amazing though, and that’s what really matters.
a week agoI came in as a walk in for a job physical. My wait time was maybe 20 minutes, the staff was all very friendly and efficient. Overall a great experience2 months agoI went last week during busy hours for a preemployment drug screen. I was expecting to be there for good amount of hours and endure rude stuff, but it was quite unexpected experience. The staff in the front desk were very polite and patient and I didn’t waste more than 25 minutes there in and out.3 months agoThe staff at Concentra have been very friendly each time I’ve gone in for my check ups on stitches i received during a workplace injury. While they did have to send me to the Renown ER to get the initial stitches, the follow ups have been great, with my doctor listening to my concerns about a potential infection, for which i was written a script but thankfully never had to fill, and with how great the personality of everyone working in the building from the front desk workers to the nurses in the back, cracking jokes and trying to make everyone feel better.4 months agoWhen told to go to Concentra for pre employment physical/TB test, I was not thrilled. In the past (other location) the experience was awful. From the front desk to the Dr. The Reno location was such a great experience. I was treated with pleasantries as soon as I walked in and received nothing less from every other person I came in contact with. What a fantastic facility with friendly employees and prompt service!

in the last weekJust had a terrible experience with one of the nurse practitioners. I have never felt so ignored and belittled in a medical experience up until today. Erin was very unprofessional and made jokes about the symptoms I had. I’ve had good experiences with every other nurse practitioner here at renown up until today.3 months agoSome nice people work here but, like the healthcare industry, they are salesmen. Upsell you and charge you unreasonable fees for everything. Does not have transparent pricing. Surprise bills will show up later. Almost $1,000 for X-Ray and tetanus shot.7 months agoI have been seen by Dr. Allison Morgan for approx. 18 months, since relocating here. She is awesome, coordinating my care, but much more importantly, reviewing all current conditions, even if I am being treated elsewhere for it. She is always available for more in-depth questions, and is highly knowledgeable. I’ve had plenty of primary care physicians–Dr. Morgan is the best.6 months agoIf you have injured your back or have any kind of injury that might affect your work I would not go here. I was in a few days ago, after waiting 2 hours the doc came in for 15 minutes to not put in for any imaging or do anything other then make me try to stretch. Then tried to rush me out the door.I asked to be referred to someone who will do imaging so I can figure out if I will hurt myself at work with this injury. So i can go back to work, they referred me to a pain management clinic. Complete waste of time and money. Thankfully the scheduler is working to get me in where I need to go.
9 months agoProfessional, courteous staff. I walked in today and yes there was a wait but that’s what happens on a Monday. The doctor and staff were courteous and professional. They took care of my medical issues and answered my questions. Very pleased with the service that they provided.
