a month agoDo respect your patients and let them know if you are close!. I had an 11.15 am confirmed appointment on 8/21. They even sent me a reminder at 7 am to make sure I was coming. I took the time off from work and went there with severe pain and nobody was there. I called the customer service and they said “oh sorry they should have called”. Accountability and Integrity are the important ones this facility should learn asap!in the last weekWent to this urgent care to treat an allergic reaction. The staff did nothing to help me. They told me to take over the counter medication which I had already tried. I have to go to the emergency room now to get this treated. Do not use this urgent care if you actually need any help.4 months agoCame here with unspecified elbow injury from fall. The NP working was able to accurately understand, splint arm, and order x-rays for the issue. Got images same-day, followed up next day, scheduled with an Orthopedic early the next week.Everything was very smooth and efficient (a lot more than most hospitals). Staff was very kind and courteous. Paperwork was minimal, and mostly online. Do recommend for all non-ER medical issues
2 weeks agoI had a series of unfortunate experiences at the Instant Care Clinic in San Ramon that left me frustrated and deeply dissatisfied with their services. My visits to the clinic were overshadowed by their handling of my billing and credit card information.To begin with, the clinic insisted on keeping my credit card on file, which I found rather unusual and discomforting. After my visits, they promptly sent bills to my insurance provider. However, before receiving any confirmation or payment from my insurance, the clinic charged my credit card repeatedly. This was not just a one-time issue; it happened multiple times, leading to an ongoing and infuriating cycle.
As a result, I repeatedly had to call both the clinic and my insurance company, spending excessive time trying to resolve this billing nightmare. Despite multiple conversations with the clinic’s billing department, they were uncooperative and admitted that my insurance had indeed paid them. Yet, inexplicably, they charged my credit card without justification or reason.
This entire ordeal forced me to take drastic action – I had no choice but to go through the cumbersome process of disputing these unwarranted charges and ultimately canceling my credit card. Dealing with the clinic’s billing department felt like an exercise in futility, with their actions appearing both lazy and nonsensical.
My experience with the Instant Care Clinic in San Ramon was nothing short of a nightmare, and I would strongly advise against seeking their services. The unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and financial hassles I endured are not something I would wish upon anyone. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward medical visit turned into an ordeal of this magnitude. Consider alternative healthcare options in the area to spare yourself the frustration and headaches I encountered.

3 weeks agoI’ve had a few dogs and spent my share of time in the ER over the years. This was by far the best experience ever! Our 15 yo dog has had a few bad vet experiences in the past and will no longer set foot in a traditional vets office without a full freakout. The open floor layout of VEG seemed to help him put things into perspective. I think seeing all the other animals in their various conditions let him know this was no time for his usual drama as well as letting us be there throughout the process. No back rooms here. The staff was great, attentive and caring. They put up with his anxiety professionally and found just the right drug to calm him and allow them to do their job.It was totally worth the drive out from Oakland.
3 months agoThis veterinarian emergency group is one of the best places I could ever recommend their team are well trained and very skilled at what they do. The first 5 to 10 minutes I was able to see a doctor that helped take care of my pet immediately and didn’t hesitate to take care of my pet. If you ever have an emergency with your pet or any animal, I recommend you bring them to VEG! They are Very supportive, very kind, very caring and very loving! They took the best care of my pet, and now I am forever in their debt. Dr. Hyder is doctor that looked after my little rocket! God bless their whole staff! -John Ia week agoI am so grateful to VEG. While we were out of town, our elderly dog, Sophie, took a turn for the worse. It was evening and our regular vet’s office was closed, so they called the numbers I had given them in case there was an emergency. There was no answer from many of the vets who do house calls. Thankfully, VEG was open and able to take Sophie. The doctors, nurses and administrative staff were incredible. Despite being very busy (evening and right after a holiday), they took the time needed to assess Sophie. Dr. Hyder walked us through our difficult options. Given her age and severe dehydration, we knew we didn’t want to leave her at the hospital for 2-3 days. So, we made the difficult decision to put her to sleep. They were able to find a private room and our own family was able to join Sophie and our friends via Zoom as Dr. Hyder explained the process as gently as he could. It was over quickly, but I never felt rushed by Dr. Hyder. Once it was done, the staff was so compassionate as we discussed Sophie’s after-care. Today (a week later), I picked up Sophie’s ashes. It was nice to see VEG in person and know this was where Sophie spent her last few hours. This has been a painful week. But, Dr. Hyder and the incredible staff at VEG made a terrible time more bearable. Thank you for your care of our sweet girl and for your care for us as well.3 months agoThe Best in the Bay! What a blessing VEG is. They not only saved our Ruby’s life during a very difficult 1st litter but they managed to ease her through a difficult emergency C section. We will forever be grateful for the VEG staff Dana, Megan, Doctors and staff that assisted in this process. ?? We can not thank them enough. God sent.4 months agoReally love this concept, where everything is under one roof & we can be there with our dog during exam & treatment. Facility is clean & spacious. Wait can of course vary depending on number of patients & severity of illness/injury at any given time, but we feel our companions received top-notch care. As an emergency hospital, expect fees to be expensive, but when 24/7 care is needed, this is our choice for our beloved furry family members. While my understanding is that they see other pets besides cats and dogs, they do not claim to be specialists in exotics (reptiles, birds, etc.). When we were there with our pet several months ago, animal control came by with an injured bird (hawk?) pictured, who was going to be cared for until transport to Lindsay Wildlife in Walnut Creek the next day. We appreciated that VEG assisted ACC with this patient. Have had several visits to VEG, felt that only one veterinarian didn’t do a great job, but all of the other veterinarians who’ve taken care of our pets & the veterinary assistants have been very competent & helpful.

9 months agoThis is the best urgent care I have ever been for either myself or my family members. The environment of the clinic is welcoming and the doctor was able to identify my problem and help me on the spot. I feel excited knowing that I can come here if I ever need an urgent help or for a second opinion or a very knowledgeable doctor.6 months agoWonderful Urgent Care office, I was seen right away for my upper respiratory issues. They were friendly, and very knowledgeable. The doctor took good care of me and helped me with a breathing treatment and medications. Very grateful6 months agoI will NEVER in a Million Years go to San Ramon Urgent Care!! They do NOT deserve 1 star – They need to be SHUT DOWN. They prescribed a penicillin related antibiotic to my daughter, even after I warned them of her allergy. 2 days in, she had a severe reaction to it. I called to report the reaction, hopefully get her on something else… left a message, called back, then another message, left about 20+ messages. I called the Doctors # that was listed on the recorded message and kept leaving messages on both #s… NO answer… I needed to get her on a diff. Rx fast!! They DID NOT TAKE ME SERIOUSLY!! They WILL NOT TAKE YOU SERIOUS… My daughter was suffering from a painful Uti plus a allergy reaction THEY LEFT HER hanging !!! Days went by… I finally ended up taking her to John Muir urgent care in walnut creek, where i got the soonest appt… She got treated correctly.2 weeks agoI went in for a strep test m.
