From the moment I walked in, the staff’s professionalism and friendliness put me at ease. I truly appreciate the seamless experience and highly recommend Concentra Urgent Care for their top-notch services.a month agoThe front desk lady was passive agressive, extremely rude, and gave me misinformation, sending me away more than once, just to call me on the phone and tell me to come back from my car on the road because it was “a good time after all” for them to see me. Her lack of professionalism made a two hour process take two days, which was a huge waste of my time, gas, and money. This place was very frustrating. I left in tears twice before I was able to get anything done. The rest of the staff was very cordial and professional, but the intake lady made my experience overwhelmingly terrible. I hope to never have to return to this location.3 months agoThe staff are friendly, diligent and knowledgeable; doctors are terrific and spend time answering questions. But the wait time is outrageous!! I spent FIVE hours there (over 4 hours waiting in the lobby) It’s ridiculous. I don’t know if they need more doctors or rooms but they need to figure out some way to alleviate the wait. Staff is doing all they can, but the wait time is horrible.4 weeks agoWent in for a drug screen for a new job. I really thought I’d be there for atleast an hour. That wasn’t the case at all. The nurses were really nice and helpful. I was in and out in no time. Highly recommend ? ?a month agoThe doctor was great, the problem is you make an appointment for a set time. You arrive early or on time and you still have to wait a least a hour past your appointment time to even go in and see the doctor. The other thing is that the receptionist does not notify that there will still be a long wait, you have to ask “ whats the hold up “ . Bad communication.

2 months agoVery polite people working here, but I’m currently here. I’ve been here for longer than an hour now. They put me in a room and have been waiting here for 30 minutes now without a word as to what I’m waiting for. Came in for pain in my legs. I feel like they forgot about me, and I’m probably going to walk out of here soon. The lack of communication is not cool. There’s not that many people rn. I get that they might be busy, but I have other things I need to attend to as well. This is why I tend to just not come for a check-up anymore, lol.Edit: Scratch that. Shortly after submitting the initial review, I was seen.
a month agoI had a good doctor but after a year they permanently transferred me to another doctor without any notice or reason. They also lied to me. Saying the doctor no longer works here. No idea what’s going on. Tried to get answers but no success , just the run a round. UPDATE 05/01/2023I have yet to see the new doctor in person. Only had one phone appointment and that was a flop. Today I needed to talk to him about my diabetes. Keep in mind he nor anyone else has given me any information on how to take care of this. I called and spoke to the receptionist who told me there’s an open phone appointment and do I want it? I said yes. Then she put me on hold for several minutes, came back told me there’s no open appointment and the doctor isn’t in. She said the nurse can call me. I said ok. Then she said the nurse will call tomorrow or Monday. I do have an appointment for an actual face to face appointment later next week. Hopefully he won’t cancel. UPDATE: I finally had a face to face appointment with the new doctor on June 7,2023, I felt like he was in a rush and really didn’t put me at ease concerning one of my meds. The med he put me on was in threat of being taken off the shelves due to liver and muscle damage. I tried to talk to him about my diet and frequency of glucose testing but the subjects were dismissed. Unfortunately I’m getting my diabetes information from the web and social media. I no longer go to El Monte Comprehensive.3 weeks agoJust had my first appointment and was very impressed with how organized everything is and everyone is so helpful, polite respectful and friendly.4 months agoHorrible place. My boyfriend walked in to urgentcare with chest pains at 9AM. The nurse went to the doctor who said he had to return at 12:30….with chest pain!!! Then at 12:30, he examined him and sent the nurse to tell him to go to the ER immediately. Obviously it was an emergency. Didn’t have the decency to tell my boyfriend himself….sent the nurse!! He calls himself a doctor??? How do you sleep at night, Dr Chan?3 months agoI was quite pleased to arrive 10 minutes before appointment, and I was seen immediately. 4 months agoI recently had the pleasure of receiving medical care from Dr. Feng at Total Care El Monte, and I can confidently say that my experience was exceptional in every way. Dr. Feng’s expertise, professionalism, and genuine concern for her patients truly set her apart.a year agoOn July 4th I was able to walk in, fill out paper work, speak with a nurse practitioner over the phone and get an antibiotic prescription in under 45 minutes. Everyone was friendly and I feel like I got extremely lucky. Thanks2 weeks agoI visited total care clinic today . Place is very clean , quiet. Front desk nurse attentive . Good communication skills. Doctor was awesome , good diagnostician She really listens to her patients.. I will definitely use this urgent care again.?a month agoOne of the best place to pick my PCP from. I can schedule appointment within short period of wait and whenever I came in, the staff are friendly, very patient to answer all of my questions. TotalCare also has multiple providers that I can easily receive care from.2 months agoThis was my first experience here after Medi-Cal involuntarily switched me over to them. I think overall this place could be more efficient because it’s a clinic with several doctors, as well as an urgent care center, which I’m grateful for. Initially I didn’t like that the front desk person discouraged me from getting seen when I was the only patient. Also didn’t like the doctor’s attitude/tone initially given my concern with my health conditions. The time it took to see the doctor was great, about 5 min, thank you. The experience progressed and ended well when I held my ground and spoke up for myself. I’m grateful to the doctor for prescribing me the medicine and referrals I needed and the front desk person for scheduling me for follow up appts. They even asked Mgmt for me if they did swab tests for skin infections (they don’t unfortunately — you’d need to see a specialist for that). Thank you, look forward to continued positive experience here.
