a week agoI have been receiving excellent care while here. Besides being cared for, all the is for me is reading and the meals. Oh the meals! Wonderful food, you can hear the smile on the face of the person taking your order. That’s a gift I think. Then when the food comes to the room more smiles and a “can I get you anything else”. 5 stars and many thanks for the care shown me. Yes, I do recommend St. E’s hand down.a week agoI have always come here and never had any issues, but I’m daily certain I was forgotten about during my last visit to the emergency department. I was sitting for 6 hours with a very painful injury and had someone check in on me maybe once every few hours. I’m usually a patient person, but this wasn’t okay. Once I was finally able to be cared for it was fine. And I understand people get busy, but hours without any interaction is a bit much.2 months agoMy husband was the patient. He was seen in the ER quickly. The Dr was thorough, communicated very well, and managed the medical issue in a timely manner while communicating with my husband’s cardiologist and reviewing recent records. He ran a number of tests that were also conducted in a timely manner. We received the results quickly. Dr Hammond couldn’t have done a better job! I am very impressed with him as well as the service and care my husband received in the ER!a week agoOutstanding medical care. Staff is very helpful and patient and caring. I was treated exceptionally well. The doctor the nurses and everyone was fantastic. This hospital has the best food I have ever eaten in a hospital. Second to nonea week agoMy husband needed staples in his head. They got the job done but mostly had no bedside manner & seemed rather annoyed to be there. I get it’s an ER but the nurses were not friendly in the least bit, not even a hello or anything but an eye roll & it made us uncomfortable & unwelcome. The physicians assistant & intake personnel was friendly. We’ll go elsewhere if we need emergency care again.

3 months agoI was handled and treated very respectfully and professionally, throughout my entire visit at the clinic. The RN responsible for my care had a fantastic bedside manner meaning she listened well and fully understood to my presenting complaint and its history, while keeping the discussion moving forward and positive. She understood what I expected out of the visit and immediately scheduled the necessary diagnostic test to rule out other concerns and after consulting with the physician, explained in detail the plan of treatment. My entire visit took less than 45 minutes and I left completely satisfied with my experience.2 months agoWas on a trip visiting my sister in law. My daughter ended up getting sick. Had to take her in to get check up and this place was recommended to us. Not knowing any places to go since we’re from out of state. I was glad to had come here for my baby’s visit. Front desk was very polite and helpful. The nurse was nice and helpful. Doctor was super cool and helpful. Took care of my daughter and even called us to give the update of results. I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again if I ever came back to visit and something happened. Thanks again for taking care of us and not treating us any different since we’re from another state. I appreciate your business.4 weeks agoFastest service I ever received at an Urgent Care facility. In and out in less than a half hour once I was registered . The nurse and the doctor were very expedient, listened to my concerns, asked all the right questions and were very professional, friendly and concerned. They gave clear instructions on how to treat my wound and sent me on my way with a prescription and a smile.2 weeks agoCheck in was professional and easy. Staff were very friendly and showed real interest in my health. I was examined and an excellent plan for my treatment was given. X. rays were taken and they were very prompt and professional. Results were provided quickly4 months agoI went in for wrist pain/immobilization not due to injury. I was greeted and treated well by each team member from check in, my nurse & practitioner (I had Jen & Erin) and radiology. They listened, were informative and thorough. Everything was done in a timely manner also. Excellent care, I won’t hesitate to return to this clinic if needed in the future.

3 weeks agoI brought my daughter in on a Sunday. This was the 3rd time she was seen for the same condition, but her first time at Urgent Care Physicians. The doctor was very thorough and explained the cause to us and helped us with preventative measures that no other doctor had explained to us. It was a great experience!a month agoGreat experience. Very friendly front staff. The nurse and doc were so helpful with my 2 kids. I love that they’re open a bit later than other places in town. It was easy, and quick.5 months agoThe PA was awesome-she was thorough, kind and correct with her diagnosis. The ladies at the desk were also knowledgeable and friendly. The nurse was excellent as well. There is just an overall good feel to the place. I’ve used this urgent care before and was very happy, that’s why I took a friend there today. Highly recommend ed.3 weeks agoBeing a Sunday and my regular doctor’s office not being open, i needed to go to Urgent Care Physicians. I was extremely happy with their service and their concern for me as their patient. I would recommend Urgent Care Physicians to anyone seeking care.4 months agoTook my 4 year old in to get stitches on her chin, and the service provided was professional, competent, and prompt. We were in and out in under 25 minutes.Then I get the bill. They charged me $235 for the stitches, which I think is reasonable. I’ll gladly pay that, and I’d do that again. No issue there. But they added a separate charge for $230 for no real reason.
They added a $230 charge for a 30-39 minute office visit of moderate complexity. When I emailed and called to ask why the office visit was billed when the code for the sutures includes the office visit to give them, I was met with absolute nonsense that boiled down to “If your insurance company approved the charge, it’s acceptable.” I haven’t met my deductible yet. The insurance company isn’t going to look at anything because they won’t pay a dime of it.
The person I spoke with, who had a manager title, said they have documentation to support the charge so it will stand but would not elaborate on what that documentation is. I have time stamped pictures that show we went from waiting room to car in under 24 minutes. How the clinic could have documentation to show a 30-39 minute office visit that is separate from the time it took to numb up and get stitches into a squirming 4 year old *and fit that all into a 24 minute window* is beyond me. Maybe they have figured out time travel?
Overall I’m left with the impression that this clinic exists to soak up as much money as it can, and the actual services performed are just a means to that end.
*After I posted this review, I was contacted by UCP and had a further conversation with them. The only purpose of that conversation from UCP’s end was to try to explain the bill to me and not actually understand my issue. When asked how they could bill for a 30-39 minute office visit from something that took less time than that, the response was something to the effect of “maybe we should have kept you waiting longer, we were just too efficient for your liking?” I’m left absolutely convinced that management at this company is out for the bottom line only.
