2 months agoMy experience here was amazing. I went in under less than stellar circumstances but the staff was so amazing that I didn’t even mind. They were quick, efficient and most of all, kind! I definitely appreciated their assistance today! Thanks to their help, I’m already starting to feel better!a month agoMy experience was great at STAT Med. It felt like I was in and out, worry free which is an important thing for me. From the point of check in to check out everything was great—customer service, welcoming, patient care from doctor and cleanliness of office. I will be going again when my doctor is not available.in the last weekI came here to get antibiotics for my sinus infection & I was told I need to take a covid test. I just moved here from Washington so my insurance doesn’t cross state lines. I told them I’m not paying out of pocket for a covid test when I don’t have any symptoms of covid and I took a test at home already. So when I refused to take a covid test already knowing I’m negative, as a 20 year old trying to save money I was denied healthcare. Even if the test was free I am able to deny ANY medical procedure. So I guess freedom isn’t a thing for this urgent care. I went to John Muir instead and had no issues.7 months agoThey made us wait to get a simple swab to the point we were left standing outside while someone went to pick up my daughter from school. A 20 minute wait to get swabbed so we could even sit down inside not including the wait time for results. I will not ever return here. The front desk was not helpful and was without empathy. Do yourself a solid, go to a better urgent care.Update: over 45 minutes bearing made to stand outside.. when there is 100% empty seats.. how long does it take to read a swab again?.. I’m removing a star now to 1 for the only time I’ll ever come here.
Lost track of time, finally seen. Was told they don’t know and we should see the regular pediatrician…
2 weeks agoVery very pleasant service. From walking in the door to being seen by the nurse and doctor. Everyone was super nice, patient and understanding. Will be coming here from now on.

2 weeks agoI came in on a Sunday with an infection on my thumb caused by a nail salon. I was pretty concerned about it. The staff from the front desk, the MA’s and Dr. were very friendly and caring and made me feel comfortable. I really appreciated this given I struggle with anxiety. The Doctor was quick and precise in the incision she made and I left the urgent care in under 30 minutes.2 weeks agoStaff helped me enter and exit Urgent Care as I needed a wheelchair. Registration was expedited, Dr. Johnson was thorough and caring with diagnosis and treatment engaging me in both. Excellent experience.2 months agoI’m so greatful for Sutter Urgent Care! With our doctor’s busy work weeks, having same day medical attention without having to go to an emergency room is a blessing. I arrived at 8am, the girl at the desk was so welcoming and pleasant. In fact, everyone who worked there that morning was just wonderful. We were taken care of immediately and on our way in no time. They’re a caring team you can’t go wrong with.2 months agoOutstanding service at this location! The front desk clerk was very thorough on my intake, and 2 more medical assistants combined to weigh me, ask important questions of me, draw my blood, get me to provide a urine sample, take my blood pressure, pulse, check me for COVID and flu – and then the doctor came in. He was a substitute doctor from Berkeley, but he was very professional and confident in what he wanted to do to help me and the drugs he prescribed for me. After the doctor was done with me, then an RN came in and went over the After Visit Summary with me and my immediate instructions for the near future … This is the best Urgent Care facility in East Contra Costa County and nobody else is close …3 months agoSuper fast, efficient, and convenient. Nurse practitioners and doctors at this urgent care are really friendly and thorough. Most often, not too long of a wait time. I’ve been coming to this urgent care for years and have never had any issues and have always had great service.

2 months agoWe were visiting family and needed to get an X-ray for my son. This urgent care staff was so wonderful. Everyone from the front office to the medical assistant to the clinician was wonderful. Coming in we were greeted right away in a wonderful air conditioned room. A wheelchair was brought out for my son who had hurt his foot-we worried he may have broken his ankle. We were offered drinks while waiting after being seen by the medical assistant. The clinician and technician were very friendly and engaged with my son well and helped him feel comfortable. I was very pleased with our visit. Quick, efficient and great. Thank you!a month agoQuick & Easy One Stop! After positive Covid test, Dr said my asthma could be a complicating factor and I agreed I wanted antiviral, so she handed me the 5-day day box on the way out! I did not have to go to the pharmacy and wait for them to fill it or tell me that they were all out! This is my 2nd appt here in 2 months. Good PA Dr, x-ray tech, medical assistant. If you want a flu test in the summer, you can only get it done at Carbon Health or Sutter urgent care but I fine Carbon Health has handled me very well and is super convenient.in the last weekNever will I come back. I went there on 09/10/23 for a drug test. I waited there for 35 min before anyone told me they couldn’t do the test today because no one could pick it up. Wasted my time. Then today I come back on 09/13/23. I was the second person to check in. I had an appointment at 9am. 4 people who walked in after me were helped first. At 9:45 I stood up and told them I was here first and my appointment was at 9am. Seriously ridiculous. No one apologized at all. It’s like they didn’t care. I don’t appreciate that type of service. I left carbon health pissed. What a great way to start my day.a month agoI needed to have a prescription filled and am visiting from out of the state. Carbon Urgent Care made it very easy to make an appointment and prescribed what I needed. The staff was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this clinic.a week agoBilling issue nightmare. Let me mention that staff was very polite and helpful during the visit. This is the second time I had a billing issue with Carbon Health. Once for my son and once for me(different locations). I went to Carbon Health because I moved closer to this side of the greater bay area. I normally go to my doctor at Stanford Health Care. I went in for a diagnostic and didn’t truly feel comfortable with the outcome so I wanted to get a second opinion at Stanford Health. Both requested lab work, Both were processed through my insurance (which I pay for the top tier with my company). Both exactly same test were done. My insurance covered the one sent in by Stanford Health Care but my insurance did not cover the one sent in by Carbon Health. My insurance stated that there was an issue with the coding the physician used which might’ve been a mistake. I tried calling the clinic, the billing department, the lab(Quest). All point me in different directions. In the end I think I will have to just pay the balance. I still do not understand why same test were being performed at different hospitals but one was covered and the other was a large invoice! Let me remind you I do not normally pay these high amounts even for MRI, urine test, blood test, X rays, etc. I never had to pay this much with Stanford, Sutter health, or John Muir. It’s so strange. My insurance mentioned to me it could be an error in wrong cpt code used. The cpt code they used defines as “experimental”. What?!?!?
