6 months agoTook my son for his haircut (was so tired of super cuts messing up his hair already) and I’m SOO HAPPY we tried this barber shop! We absolutely LOVED the way his haircut came out! He did exactly what we asked and even gave his recommendations, which we took and it came out PERFECT! HIGHLY recommended Barber Lou! He was super friendly, my son loved him, he was patient yet quick and precise with the cut. ECSTATIC that we found our new barber!! ?2 weeks agoHair Club Barbershop has been the place I’ve been going to for about a year and a half now. David has been taking care of me since the beginning and I leave very happy every time! He makes me feel like family and always remembers my daily life and I’m sure he grows a bond with all his guests. I greatly appreciate everything he’s done for me and the amazing hospitality. Thank you David!a month agoWhen I first heard of this barber shop I was a little skeptical because I usually only go to one barber that I’ve known for a few years and since I moved to this side of town it has been a travel to get to them. My first cut with Luis so good that I decided to come back over and overs again. He does an amazing job and to be honest is actually better than my old barber. Today I went in and thought to do something a little different and was scared it wasn’t going to look right but the cut came out more better than the picture reference I had shown him and exactly what I was looking for.3 months agoAmazing place!!! Mike is awesome!! Knows his stuff and does great work!! My first appointment he fixed a terrible hair cut from a Supercuts! ? Mike is the man! Doesn’t just give great haircuts but also helps me understand my hair and how to get the look I want! And always kind and welcoming! Also very easy scheduling!2 months agoAbsolutely love this place! The girls that work here are so friendly not only with their clients but with each other which makes for a really fun atmosphere.Lola is my stylist and she is amazing. I get compliments about my haircuts all the time since coming to see her. I get the Benchmark every two weeks and it’s such a highlight of my week—so relaxing. Lola has a special touch and really knows how to make me feel at ease. She’s fun to talk to and has a great eye for helping me choose my best look.

2 months agoI’ve been coming here for about 6 months now and I love it. I used to pay 50+ per cut biweekly, so even though this place may seem pricey for me it’s worth it. Now I get a fresh fade weekly for less. Cassandra is really good and she has great attention to detail. I’ve felt like some barbers I’ve had in the past would start slacking after a few cuts but she always makes sure to take her time and get it right every time. I also get my haircut during my lunch so quick service is important to me, but I never have to wait when I get there.a month agoI have been getting my haircuts, the Benchmark, from Mel since 2021, and have been one of her regular clients. Mel has been a great stylist for several reasons.1-Professional – since my first benchmark with her, she has always remembered how I like my hair styled and I have enjoyed the benchmark service she provides. At times with the limitations of the equipment (closed shampoo station, broken shampoo chairs), Mel did not allow those limitations to affect the kind of service she provided. 2-Artist – over the years Mel has been a true artist in her craft. When I want to change my hair style, Mel has been a great listener and she offers creative touches that complement my thoughts or she suggests alternative styles and gives me reasons as to why. 3-“Therapist” and friend – Mel is easy to talk to. Since I’ve seen her she has been a lending ear to what’s troubling me at the time. We share laughs about vacations, music, games, and movies.
Mel is amazing. And a few months ago, I updated my visits to see her weekly because I realized that she and the benchmark is a must weekly experience.
There was a time, I was traveling that threw my visits off schedule and I wasn’t able to match my schedule with hers for six weeks. Just want to give Charm and Kat a shout out too, who I was lucky enough to be booked with during that time. They didn’t make me feel I was “cheating” on Mel and they provided the same professionalism, fun, and service.
a week agoCassy did a phenomenal job styling my hair today. Professional, courteous, asking proper questions to better understand what I’m wanting. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to see her!3 months agoMelissa was awesome, I usually don’t try anything new with my hair because of the fear of the stylist not seeing what I see in my head but Melissa understood immediately which made me feel very confident. She even went as far as explaining her actions and thought process throughout the cut so I remained confident. The process was a delight I usually don’t like talking much when I get a haircut and I felt comfortable even not doing so with her, but when we did talk it didn’t feel forced or unnatural, it was nice. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted which kept the qualities I already loved about my hair but with that new modern and subtle edginess I was looking for. Not only did I leave with a good product and advice on how to maintain my curls I also left with a smile which was completely involuntarily.

in the last weekThis was my second trip to Scissors and Scotch. I chose it because I am new to the area and am trying to find a steady hair stylist. I made an appointment via Google Maps. The process was straightforward. Upon arrival, I was greeted. After a few minutes, the hostess introduced me to the stylist, and she took me back to the styling chair.I asked for a very low skin fade with a trim off the top that I can comb/style over. Compared to my previous experience at Scissors and Scotch three weeks prior, the stylist carelessly sped through cutting my hair. I am no haircut expert, and I understand different barbers and stylists use different methods. However, this was rushed with little care towards properly fading and tapering the sides and back of my head, which I would expect as part of a ~$60 process. To put it nicely, it turned out more like a high fade, and the stylist assured me it would grow to what I’m used to in a couple of days.
It seemed as though people were rushing, and the stylist was distraught at the fact that there were several appointments after me, hence the rushed cut and hasty shampoo/conditioning.
My friends and colleagues who’ve seen me since my cut were slightly taken aback by my “new look.”
I give this experience two stars as my previous cut at this establishment was nice, with a detailed stylist and friendly hostess in the front.
As I continue my search for my regular barber/stylist, this experience does not reflect well on my decision to choose Scissors and Scotch for my business every 2-3 weeks.

Asked for bald fade and got nothing but hard lines, not properly faded at all and somehow missed patches of hair around my ears. Beard lines needed fixed also. Thankfully, I was able to get back home to my hair stylist, who was able to fix it today.
