2 weeks agoAnthony is one of the greatest barbers I have ever met in the Portland metro area. He is super nice and humble. He always leaves my hair perfect. He lines me up the way I want and my beard to. If you ever need barber book with Anthony he is the best in town. I promise you he is not a disappointment.a month agoI got a haircut and beard trim here yesterday, and between work and errands today, I’ve already received like 40 compliments. Most people have said I look sharp, some handsome, and a few that my hair smelled good. I only washed it with water since so I need to find out what was used, but the compliments are borderline time consuming, lol. To be fair, I also was an abominable hair monster before. Maddy was my barber, and despite me showing up a few late and then wanting to add the beard trim, she stayed past closing to make sure everything was perfect. I noticed she was very focused, diligent, and cared a lot about the process. The other barbers had all finished before I arrived, but if they are as good as her, then I will definitely recommend this place to friends. They had a tv with options, a good vibe, with the barber being very personable. I especially appreciate her looking at the variant photos and videos I pulled up, and finding a solid medium that matched my facial structure, as well as a layering that will last/grow into my regular, so I won’t need a haircut for a while. He took his time answering my question and was very knowledgeable. My haircut turned out exactly how I wanted, will definitely be coming back again!

3 weeks agoHad been going to sport clips for a couple years and yes have had some “not so great” cuts here and there but it’s cheap and fast – the other day really defined cheap and fast.. I will unfortunately not be visiting sport clips again and will have to voice this opinion to my friends that visit sport clips. Asked for 1 inch off the top, 2-1 medium fade, pointed side burns and tapered at the bottom. There were uneven cheetah like spots, not blended, edges pushed far back, uneven sideburns that weren’t pointed, no fade and no taper. Very nice lady and I even tipped for her hard work but after the results of this I will no longer visit or recommend sport clips. $27 + cash tip to look like I cut my own hair in the dark.. I’m not even a rude person but this was upsetting and I can’t wear hats at work.2 months agoHailey was very nice and did a great job on my hair. When I went to the salon, I was asked if I had an appointment, I told I had called and was told that it was not necessary and I would have to wait 3 to 4 hours. I called the corporate office in Texas and left a message asking for a return call. It has been 13 days, and I have not heard back from anyone. I also left a message for the franchise owner. So far, I have not heard from him either. This is very unprofessional and customer unfriendly business.a month agoBusy. Used online check in which is a nice feature. Still had to wait. Did a good job but for whatever reason, their system fails to record and keep my preferences 3rd or 4th time it’s happened). Have to repeat myself on what I want. It’s an inconvenience because it shouldn’t be necessary. (To be fair, this is completely a first world problem so it doesn’t even rise to s level of annoyance. It just is, it’d be nice if it didn’t happen but it’s just a part of life.)4 weeks agoI had called yesterday 7/7 about getting a womens haircut, i was told yes and they can cut layers but cannot style it and extra $10 past shoulders length.So i show up today 7/8 and the person at the front clearly did not want to cut my hair, repeatedly said they specialize in mens cuts (yes i understand that, the webite says i can go) stated extra $10 for layers im just looking for an affordable option to get a simple trim. (My hair is shoulder length with simple layers)
Im very disappointed in the unwelcome greeting i got.

4 years agoI’d been to Hair M a few times over the last few years as a treat to myself, and had always had good results. Sadly, those days are gone.Just had truly the worst haircut of my life. The hair stylist talked me into what they call the King’s Cut, which is about half a step below a bowl cut in terms of style.
And by “talked into”, I mean when I explained how I normally cut my hair (think cross between high and tight and Mohawk) and suggested going back to that, he literally shrieked and basically begged me to let him do this “style”. He claimed this would look better.
I’d rather pay a homeless dude $30 to kick me in the junk than get another haircut from this place.
