Love eating here. Everything was delicious. Our appetizers, our entrees (Shrimper’s Heaven) and our drinks were all delicious and beautifully presented. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the decor. The Tom Hanks, Forest Gump theme is funny but cute and kind of homely feeling. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They also did their best to accommodate the fact that we had a baby in a stroller with us. I would definitely eat at this location again. A little pricey but it was worth it.

Theming throughout was spot on. Caesar salad was served on a super chilled plate. That was a nice touch and I can’t recall the last time I got salad on a cold plate. Jambalaya was hearty with a perfect amount of kick and a full flavor. Presentation of kids meals on boats with jello really topped off the experience.

The experience was cool. Everything was themed from the movie Forrest Gump. The staff and waitress was great. I had high hopes for the food. Once we got our food, everything looked great but tasted just ok. Nothing special about it. I actually had an appetizer of steamed shrimp that is not pictured. We eat a lot of seafood so my expectations are high with seafood. It was a let down. I’m sure for the average person, the food is amazing. But for my group, the food filled a hole.

First time eating here but won’t be the last. Coconut shrimp was absolutely delicious, as was the Lava Flow cocktail. Patricia was our server and she made wonderful recommendations. Quick seating and the food came out fast as well. Terrific experience!

Had dinner here on vacation and was pleasantly surprised by the food quality and service. If you’re not a shrimp lover then not much here for you. Luckily we both love seafood. The appetizer we ordered was garlic shrimp steamed in beer—amazing! Then my wife ordered jambalaya and I ordered the Forrest surf and turf. I didn’t expect a seafood place to have a great ribeye but they did! The server was great, timely with refills and checking in on us. It’s not cheap but it’s worth the prices to eat here.

    Outstanding food and service!

There are several breakfast choices in the area so I went with the one with the highest rating. I wasn’t disappointed. We walked right in and were seated. Inside of 10 minutes we had ordered and been served.

The food was fantastic. I’m skeptical of “big” for the sake of big so what a pleasant surprise when the giant pancakes were so delicious. The same goes for the biscuit – it was very big but wow was it tasty.

Been anxious to try this place because of the hype but worried I’d be disappointed.

    Not the case.

Parking available and no wait around 7:15 on a Sunday.

Laura was our server and she was amazing! Very informative, helpful, quick, efficient, never had to ask for refills, gave assistance to special menu request, jumped in and corrected a kitchen order issue, always near by, etc. Everything you want in a server.

    Beautiful restaurant.

Giant Cinnamon Roll = Amazing. I was worried about the icing as some have complained but it was perfect. The Cinnamon Roll was COVERED in it which is beyond perfect for me. I hate them dry. The icing, while not the typical cream cheese icing, was actually very good. Less on the sweet side, almost whipped I guess? Not sure, but my daughter who doesn’t like the typical icing, because it’s too sugary and sweet, really liked it.

Pancakes were better than expected. And bigger than expected. One was more than enough and this is coming from a HUGE eater. Well…if it weren’t for the Cinnamon Roll, and indigestion from the night before, I could have eaten two. Fluffy and moist.

Biscuits were fluffy and moist, I only had a small bite due to being full. The potatoes were decent, but nothing extraordinary.

The skillets are HUGE. I couldn’t believe that was all one meal….and I was expecting big, but…wow, that exceeded my expectations of big.

Food was ready fast once ordered. Just an all around great experience.

Atmosphere is awesome! All the staff were so friendly. This was our favorite place we visited! Wanted to go back the next morning before we left but they were not open that early. Think the price is a little high.. Like $5.99 for a side of corned beef hash. I got the Country fried steak.. it was good nothing special really. Girls enjoyed their meal also. Again pretty pricey for a breakfast.. but it’s a tourist place so.. we are willing to pay it for the experience.

Outstanding food!!!!! The cinnamon pancakes are thick! I had to split breakfast with my friend because I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat it all but the food was so good! Definitely come here if you want a good breakfast with a cool atmosphere. We also loved our waitress. The staff were very nice and helped seat us before they closed. Thank you for a great breakfast! Will come again.

Was a wonderful experience overall! We used the wait list feature which was nice because when we arrived the wait was over an hour. The restaurant had really unique ambiance and interior design. It was a very country design which went well with the name of the restaurant. The service was not the most friendly but very attentive. The food was delicious and the value for what you received was amazing.

No Way Jose’s Mexican Cantina was awesome and the food was good too. Our server (Jason) was awesome and was very attentive. The service was so good that we went two days in a row. The atmosphere was very inviting, laid back, and the outside patio was a pleasant surprise and close to the creek. The location was good, it was located near the bus depot for the trolley and near the Mountain Mall. I would recommend No Way Jose to anyone who wants good service, good food, and a good price. I will be eating here again when I visit Gatlinburg again. Keep up the good work. 👍🏾👍🏾
    P.S.
Jason my server even remembered that I like an Arnold Palmer to drink now that is what I consider good service. 👍🏾👍🏾

Enjoyed my dinner here! It was my first time on a trip from Florida. The food was great! Very tasty! They also have some great tasting margaritas! Overall great experience and I would definitely go back!

We had not been here before. But I thoroughly enjoyed it! The atmosphere was great! This is real authentic Mexican food. They’re located right across the street from the aquarium. There is not much parking here so plan to park in the parking deck behind the aquarium. Parking is $10.00. We were here during Winterfest in January 2023 and all of the Christmas lights were still up everywhere absolutely beautiful and cold!

We came in for lunch on a Sunday and it was packed but we were immediately sat and served which was nice. We put in the order and got our appetizer within 5 minutes!!! Got to eat some of it and then our food was served shortly after. Was some of the best service I’ve had. Super fast, hot, and fresh food.
    Service was excellent!!!

We spent our son’s birthday dinner. Had to wait for almost 45 minutes on a Saturday evening during spring break. Though they said 2 hours, it was quicker. The food was awesome and one of the best Mexican food we had. The servers were quick, very polite. Made our day. Will definitely come back if in town!!!

Absolutely the best breakfast ever. Staff was extremely friendly and tentative. We got the strawberry crepes, orange pineapple Supreme crepes and split the no pancake breakfast. All of it was absolutely delicious. Some of the best biscuits we’ve ever had. Next time we are definitely going to try the unlimited biscuits and gravy. Everything is homemade and you can definitely tell. Can’t wait to come back!

First thing get there early! Otherwise be prepared to wait. But make sure you do because it is well worth it! Absolutely wonderful environment warm, cozy, and rustic. The wait staff is super friendly and is always happy to help even though they are busy.
The food is excellent, the pancakes are exactly that, cakes, not flat almost crepes cakes. The biscuits are homemade, fluffy and full of flavor. The sausage gravy is is flour based, mild and tasty. And the hot chocolate tasted like chocolate not watered down with whipped cream that is cold creamy and sweet!
The best part is the prices are reasonable and you get big portions of food. An absolute pleasure to ear here and highly recommend for you breakfast and brunch needs!

Kris was friendly and efficient. We met her after waiting 15 minutes to get into the restaurant and to be seated at her table. She was exceptional!!

We each had something different: French toast, pancakes and eggs, pigs in blankets, and scrambled eggs with grits, toast and ham. Rich said the French toast was as good as the best he’s had. Missy enjoyed her pancakes and eggs. Husband wanted more pig (sausage) and less blanket (pancakes). Both were good, but he left no pigs on the plate – only blankets! I enjoyed the grits and eggs, but country ham was too salty for my delicate stomach. Husband and Missy ate it and enjoyed every bite. Toast was toast. It was okay.

The prices are moderate, and for the amount of food you get, the prices are excellent! The food is very good. The staff is so friendly, accommodating and efficient. Now I know why locals love this place, and tourists want to eat here, too! Next time, I’m trying the strawberry crepes!

This is a very unique restaurant built from antique logs. It has a rustic old time atmosphere. I have been here many times and usually order breakfast. I love the many options they offer to top your pancakes. Today we came in for lunch and ordered BLTs. It was delicious with lots of bacon. Definitely recommend if you are in Gatlinburg. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, so plan accordingly.

Log Cabin Pancake House’s food and service are amazing!
My wife and I visited Gatlinburg last week, and decided to give this restaurant a try. There is usually a wait to get in, but they have a huge covered front porch where the line forms and everyone is sheltered from the sun or rain. The line moves quite fast, I imagine due to the very large seating are inside. The tables are not very spaced out, but they are far enough that you can still fell some privacy in your conversation. Once you get in you’ll be cordially and professionally greeted and escorted to your table. The menu has a vast variety of food suited for all types of diet. The portions are large, the food tastes amazing, and the presentation is great. This is definitely a place we will come back to, and I absolutely recommend it!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. My boyfriend and I wanted one REALLY nice and special dinner. We spent weeks reading reviews and trying to pick a place. I am beyond happy we chose Cherokee Grill. We did reservations before which I recommend. Once we arrived, we were seated right away. The place was clean and had a good aroma, decorations, and the dim lighting was perfect. Our waitress was AMAZING!! Our food was DELICIOUS, our food was hot and fresh, cooked just how we ordered it! The wait for food and drinks were on point. At one point a lady was walking around with flowers for sale which was so cute to get on our little date. Such a good night we saved up for.

My husband and I really enjoyed the atmosphere relaxing and the food was full of flavor and to tell the truth the best. The southern fried chicken, garden gravy and macaroni n cheese with spinach was so very delicious. It is like grandmas cooking. The dessert was out of this world also 🤤 great service A+++

A wonderful dining experience. Our server was amazing and the food was spectacular. The filet Mignon and Farmer’s Daughter drink were some of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

Excellent meal and great view of the mountains! We came here for dinner and could not have had a better meal. The filet and prime rib were out of this world, and our server Billy was extremely hospitable and friendly. We cannot wait to be back to try more. So many good things on the menu
