Total awesome store. They have so many items that I like. They also have a small cafe that serves drinks inside. We got a lot of supplies for the road and the fruits are so fresh l. Feels like it was freshly picked. I also got the iced hot chocolate and it was good. They also have a large selection of Vermont gift items. We will return if we are in the area.

This is a busy farmer’s market for a reason. A big staff runs this place well and it is loaded with fresh made goodies, groceries, and produce. We took some big deli sandwiches out back and enjoyed them beside the river. Lots of fall and Halloween treats too. A must stop while in Woodstock!

We absolutely love this place. Made to order coffee & sandwiches. Delicious desserts. Well organized selection of items throughout. Everything is fresh and fairly priced.

I felt like a (big)kid in a candy store. Their grocery carts are for too small for all the stuff I wanted to buy, so I had to settle for the unique Vermont stuff; I.e., maple syrup. Fresh produce and butcher counter. Every Bob’s flour you could imagine existed and wine and candy and coffee, flowers, fertilizer and…and…and… It was a nice experience with many patrons and knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to help us neophytes find what we never knew we needed.

Great grab and go and prepared sandwiches in a festive setting. They know how to put a smile on a weary traveler’s face.

We only had a few hours to visit Woodstock as we were only traveling through, but in that time we decided that Mont Vert looked like a nice little cafe to get some coffee and breakfast at. The coffee and food did not disappoint- we had lattes and their breakfast burritos with avocado. It was all wonderful, the burrito was especially tasty. The establishment itself was very cozy and had a nice patio to sit at out front. It was a tad pricey, but good quality items are not usually cheap. Would highly recommend stopping in if you are through.

Edit to add: I see other reviews noting cold food/order mix ups/long waits. I did see this happening there, but that is bound to happen at a popular place with a lot of customers pouring in all at once unfortunately. Many establishments suffered from staff shortages over the past couple of years and I just assumed this could be part of that. But overall, our experience there was pleasant.

This cafe was the perfect spot to stop for lunch and coffee! The lunch wait was a little long, but we had the time, and it worth the wait. I got the Coffeehouse Brisket sandwich, and it was FABULOUS. The coffee was great too!

Mon Vert Cafe is in a great location. It’s a very cute and homey cafe. Their coffee is good and they also offer an extensive tea menu. I had the French toast and classic breakfast sandwich for take out and they were both okay. I did have to wait awhile to get my order and I did have to drive a bit so I’m sure if I had ate it on the spot it would’ve been fine. One thing I can rave about though is their chocolate croissant. It is honestly the best choco croissant I ever had. The breading is so delicious and the chocolate compliments it so well. I had to go back and purchase an extra croissant bc I knew I wouldn’t want to split it with my boyfriend. I’ll definitely be back.

We loved stopping at Mon Vert after walking through quaint Woodstock. Comfy seating upstairs, got the smoked salmon club and chicken Caesar wrap. Both were excellent.
Service takes a little while, we waited about 20 min for food. But they have a disclaimer at the register and everything is hand-made to order so it’s worth the wait!

Adorable cafe with delicious coffee, bakery items, and breakfast. Highly recommend the cinnamon chip scone and breakfast burrito. Delicious!

Classic Vermont eatery. Inside seating as well as an ordering window outside. Wholebelly clams are outstanding! My dad loves the fried oysters. The seared scallops were done just right and my brother really enjoyed his steak. Our family has been enjoying Tozier’s for over 40 years. Don’t be put-off by the taxidermy… The deer heads are a big deal for hunters in New England.

Tozier’s Restaurant appears to have indoor dining which I would have preferred. However, it was hard to tell if they did or didn’t due to the signage out front.

I ended up going to the take out line and ordered 1 scoop of Black Main Bear in a cup. The ice cream was a bit grainy, but had an overall good flavor.

In addition, I ordered the Haddock plate to go. The fish was a good portion and well cooked. It was dipped in a batter and deep fried.

The fries that came with it were on the salty side, but cooked perfectly crisp. The served the fish on the top of the fries which made some of the fries slightly soggy. If you hate soggy fries. Order them on a separate plate. Overall the fries were crispy, but too salty for me.

I gave a score of three – I was leaning toward a 4- because the people taking and giving the orders were lackluster at best. I don’t expect a lot, but a smile and a please and thank you would go a long way.

I say give this place a try. You might love it. I was satisfied with my meal.

Extremely disappointed with our takeout last night! This place is usually great. Not sure what happened. The menu is very misleading. A seafood platter should come with the mentioned. It doesn’t state to make a choice of one thing. Ordered 3 seafood platters and an order of scallops. Paid $98.28 for 3 meals that looked like this! I have a food scale so I weighed it. That’s how sad it was. 3.1 oz clam strips, 3.1 oz haddock and 4 oz of fries not pictured. The fries were EXTREMELY salty my face was sweating! The prices or menu need to be altered. This is far from $100 worth of food!!😠

Really enjoyed Sunday dinner here. The dining room is almost like walking onto the set of Twin Peaks. Very friendly staff, great fried seafood, great chowder, generous serving of onion rings for an app, and maple creamees next door for dessert. Excited to have a place to get whole belly clams and scallops within easy driving distance.

Very polite service. Had a steak dinner it was very good and tender could pull it apart with my fork. Suggested you make a reservation. Desert was very good too. Yum yum

New to the area and while out doing laundry in bethel we swung through for a brunch! Love the location, the waitress was wonderful and even my 4 year old complimented her by telling us “I like her she’s really nice “ . Food was amazing, prices, and portions! Will be going back as often as we can !

Nice little diner. Breakfast menu had enough variety to satisfy most appetites. It lacked my favorite, chicken fried steak. We had omelettes and blueberry pancakes, all of which were cooked well and delicious. It could benefit from more local flair to its decorations, such as local photos and a few wall mounted locally sourced rustic antiques. Staff was friendly, hardworking, and efficient. Definitely worth stopping in if in the area and hungry.

Heading home from a weekend in Vermont and we were looking for a good breakfast spot. A little bit of a drive off the highway but totally worth it. Breakfast was excellent, the waitresses were incredibly nice and provided excellent service and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely seek out Creek House Diner again the next time we are in Vermont!

We recently discovered this gem. The home cooked, tastes like mom made meals do not disappoint. Everything was delicious. Homemade hash and honemade bread.. Our server Angie was attentive, positive, and personable. We live about 80 miles away, but will definitely come back whenever we are in the area. Wish it was closer!

Really, really good burgers! Coffee is very good too. The other bits and pieces we had from the menu were fine and well-priced but burgers took us by surprise. My black&blue (peppercorn and blue cheese) was seriously good. Great staff too.

Got there ten minutes before the dining room closed. Server nor the cook was happy about that! But we were good to make it easy for them. We ordered the same thing, ate fast, and got out of there quickly. Jason didn’t dare order the banana split – the main reason why went there! Guess there’s always next time. The burger was really good, by the way.

Just what you would want for a roadside place to eat. Nice comfortable dinner type motif inside. Bright and sunny. Staff was very friendly with many locals enjoying meal away from craziness of Woodstock and Killington. My cheese burger and ice cream after were exactly what I wanted. Both were wonderful. Great job. Will look forward to stopping again with no hesitation.

Didn’t expect it, but this is the best homemade ice cream I’ve tasted while driving across the country since The Creamery in Beaver, Utah. *Very* fresh and creamy. Most other places skimp on the vanilla flavor in their swirl flavors; the Brownie flavor here not only has full-flavored vanilla, but the brownie chunks are the thick, fudgy homemade kind, not the usual crumbles from a supermarket that most other places seem to use.

Great place, service is friendly and attentive. Pancakes are amazing. My only negative is no shades in the windows, and man that sun can be bright. But sunglasses eliminates that issue.

Had lunch upstairs. Lunch itself was good. The waitress was no nonsense in a very new England type of way. She let me know she was the boss, and I kinda liked it.

Clam chowder so thick you could eat with a fork.

But the DESSERTS! mile high apple pie. With 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. If that doesn’t make you happy then I don’t know what will.
