a year agoI have been coming to Anna and Aaron for the last 13 years. Anna always does perfect long layers and all over color for me. They are extremely, clean, thorough and personable. No matter what I always end up coming back. Anna and Lynn also do a great job with waxing and I trust them with my eyebrows.a year agoI went in for a hair cut and ended up dyeing my hair. I even didn’t like the roots of my hair after the first color and they re dyed it. Honestly amazing customer service. I’m not from the area and I will definitely be back. The couple that owns this salon are genuine people and are so nice and friendly and they did a great job! They took the time to blow dry and style it how I liked and spent the time. We had great conversations and honestly I had such a comfortable great experience. I will definitely start bringing my other family members her for services! If you stop by on a Saturday come in the afternoon when there’s less business. Anna cut my hair and it was just the right style I needed. She did a great job waxing my brows also7 months agoI always get my hair cut here. They are very good at what they do and very friendly. The price is so good I usually tip more than the cost of the cut!

I live in Castro Valley and make the drive all the way to Pittsburg so you know it’s good. I’ve been coming to this spot for close to a year now. I always leave feeling fresh and like a brand new man. Fran is my guy, best barber I’ve had in a very long time! My line ups, facial hair and fades always come out perfect! a year agoAfter reading good reviews, I thought this would be a decent place to get a cheap haircut as opposed to chain places like “Great Clips”. It was a couple dollars cheaper, but I regret it.The person giving me my haircut was very rough and ended up leaving me with a haircut that did not look finished. She wanted to give me a part even though I told her from the beginning that I did NOT want a part. She ended up leaving me with the back of my head having a distinct “haircut line” that was not blended in or meshed in any way whatsoever. The haircut just looked choppy and unfinished.
OH and she kept INSISTING I tip her after what she did.
2 years agoI took my daughters to get a haircut. They both wanted a bob haircut. They both had different hair stylist cut there hair. My eldest hair was messed up it was hella uneven and the youngest was not that bad. When I went to pay the charged me for both of them as if they were women. They did not honor the kid’s haircut price. Sheesh if I wouldn’t have wanted to screw up their hair I would have, had my husband do it and saved me from be overcharged. I have cut my girls hair before and done a way better job than what they did. It’s a shame to see people not know what to do or do what you ask them to do.6 months agoScissors been close for a while and new owner took over and they don’t open on Sundays3 years agoI will never ever go back there. I dont mind the wait. After sting listening to the worst music playing and super loud. Finally got to our turn I had my son sit down.i was asked what I wanted and I just said a trim. She refused to cut my sons har because he is mixed and has curly hair and it was too much combing…. you get paid to cut hair your just too lazy5 years agoEveryone one was nice, but I think more learning is needed!! Went in for layers but ended up CHOPPED !!! Probably the worst cut I’ve ever had! I’m sorry, but I had to give this review the low rating I gave because I cried when I got home. Gotta buy hair clip ins to fix it until my hair grows back, and thank God my hair is a fast grower!!!!!!!
