a month agoComfortable shop with friendly Barbers! Walk-ins only, but wait was not long. Christine asked lots of questions about how I like to have my hair cut, and did a great job! We’re just passing through, but this shop was highly recommended, so we’re glad we checked it out!a month agoHad the best haircut! He was professional and made me feel he was deserving of my time. It may not have been much but the conversation we had made me feel relaxed about myself and trusting of him. By far the best haircut experiences I’ve had in Anchorage.I’ve never had to wait for more than fifteen minutes, even when it’s very busy on a Friday afternoon.
I usually end up waiting longer at salons where I have to make an appointment!
3 months agoBest barber shop in town, and the best price also. Walk in only, so sometimes it’s super quick, and others up to an hour wait. But honestly, I’ve waited multiple times because it’s worth it! Every barber I’ve had, 4 different ones now, have all been great and given me a great haircut. Only shop I go to in town now. 10/10 ?3 months agoI’ve had my hair cut by maybe 4 of the stylists here and have little to complain about, it’s a nice atmosphere, if you like rock music they’ve usually got some playing. My only 2 gripes are that I would like it if I could schedule appointments with particular stylists, which leads me to my second point. I really like one of the stylists there, a couple of the others are good, they put thought and care into my haircut each time. The guy in the middle I really don’t like and not just because he ‘doesn’t quite cut my hair the way I like’, but because the last couple times he’s cut my hair it feels incredibly rushed and borderline painful, he’s rude and condescending and he genuinely scoffed at me when I told him how I would like my hair cut. I really don’t like the idea of paying for someone to make fun of me and give me a half-a**ed haircut.

2 months agoCole is amazing! Came in to see him with an absolute mess on my head. Hadnt had my hair cut in a year and had been wearing a beanie all day and even showed up a couple minutes late to the appointment. Cole welcomed me in and after showing him a single picture he gave me one of the best haircut’s I’ve ever had. Would recommend this place to anyone.2 months agoFrom out of town. Was in Anchorage for a wedding last September and got a cut here. One of the best cuts I’ve ever had. Happy with the wedding photos. I didn’t ask up front for a beard trim but the barber offered and I accepted and it was so worth it. I’ve never had it before and it was so worth it. I can’t do it that well by myself.Seems like a family business. I gathered that the dad gave me a cut and the daughter was the cashier, I respect the heck out of that. They hang there and watch UFC and chat up customers. If I’m back around that way I’ll definitely come back in.
2 weeks agoI live in Wisconsin, and still prefer to have my haircut at the Man Spa! I travel a lot back and forth from the slope, always make time to get the best haircut and beard trim available! Thank you all!3 months agoPassing through town I needed a barber. I HATE finding a new barber, you never know what you’re going to get etc. I looked on the website and thought I booked with one gentleman but ended up with someone different, who wasn’t on the website. But this new gentleman was AMAZING. Gave me 1 of my all time favorite haircuts and beard cuts. The whole shop has a great vibe, you can tell the regulars have a great relationship with the whole staff. Everyone was very welcoming and inviting. I’m actually sad that I’m not living here because this would become my regular place!a year agoWe couldn’t have had a better first haircut experience for our little dudes! Cole and Simone are some the most welcoming and patient people around and on top of that they are clearly highly skilled barbers that provide a top notch service. We are so thankful we found this business while up visiting from Seward and will happily make the drive up for haircuts. We look forward to seeing them in the future and giving them our continued business.
