a month agoMt. Zion Barbershop was referred to me by my lady, she takes her 2 boys bythere and they always come back looking all fresh. So I had to checked this place out and it lived up to it.11 months agoI am glad my barber goes here. The only thing is that they need to have the ability of card transactions and pass it on to us. It cost 17 for haircut the add 3% maximum to get convenience of card. Most barber shops don’t do this because of taxes which I get.a year agoFinally stopped in here after having passed by it many times over the years and decided to give it a try. they did not disappoint. Randy got me in and out quickly and did a great job! prices are very reasonable and its a cool little shop. 4 months agoThe best barber shop I have taken my son to, we won’t be going elsewhere! The owners are extremely understanding and made my son feel comfortable. He screamed and kicked during his previous 3 hair cuts at home and a kids salon. This was the first time he actually enjoyed it and is looking forward to his next.Communication and appointment booking could not be more convenient. They have a website for bookings and a chat section. I sent a message due to our time constraints and the owners wife responded immediately and had Kenny (the owner) leave home, drive over and cut our sons hair because she wanted to be sure we had a good experience. (After hours) I can’t say enough positive things, if you’re looking for a new shop this is it. Adults and children!

4 months agoI have been coming here the last two years. Great place, didn’t break the bank. But today the lady charged me 60 dollars for two haircuts! Normally they charge me 30 dollars, 15 per haircut. I was like why so expensive all of a sudden and she responded that it’s 30 dollars per haircut if you do an appointment which doesn’t make sense. It’s time to find a new barbershop. I don’t like getting scammed. Plus she didn’t do my haircut as instructed. Very informative. I will definitely be coming back!!a year agoI’ve been coming here for the last 2 years or so, consistently booking an appointment with Henry. He cuts great and is consistent. However, after my recent experience with him I will not be coming back here.I booked an appointment for 11:30-12:00 on 5/12 and arrived at 11:25. Henry acknowledged me as I walked in and understandably did not finish cutting the customer’s hair until 11:45. Once done with that customer, he accepted another customer even though my appointment time had passed and he was aware that I was waiting. I had to leave due to other obligations; I put it behind me and scheduled an appointment for 5/16 12:00-12:30.
On 5/16 I arrived at 11:55, it was empty, and Henry took me in right away. I got my haircut and paid $25 ($5 extra for appointment) but did not tip due to the inconvenience caused by Henry on Friday. I got into my car and was about to pull out but saw Henry come out of the barber shop and walk to my car. I rolled down my window and he said “You booked appointment with me but did not tip, do not book with me again”. I replied saying “I tried to book with you last Friday but you took someone in front of me, even after my appointment time had passed”. He said “I know, sometimes things happen, don’t book with me again” and walked back inside before I could explain anything else.
tldr; I booked an appointment but Henry didn’t honor it. I didn’t tip the next time I saw him (for missing the original appointment) so he followed me to my car to tell me to not book appointments with him anymore.
I will not be coming back here. An employee followed me to my car and made me feel uncomfortable. Don’t expect appointments to be honored and tips seem to be mandatory.

5 months agoFor years Peter and Tammy have cut my son and my hair. Today Tammy was not there. Peter refused to cut my son hair when he has cut it in the past. While I was getting my hair cut. Peter had my Son wait for the other 2 barbers who both skip my Son, Peter’s excuse was that they don’t know how my Son would like his hair cut. The service I received today was not appropriate. None the less I will not recommend this place to anyone and I will be looking for some one else that appreciates my loyalty and good tips.3 weeks agowhat such a lazy group of old asians who complain about wanting to cut off all their hair and turn you away when you only want a trim to cut only a little bit of hair off.i dont recommend this place. people should go else where.

Peter was very kind, gental, very nice as we walked in greeted us as he was with a customer. We sat down waited maybe 3mins top and he communicated with me and what i liked or wanted (he has pictures in wall so no misunderstanding). I chossed letter L medium fade with head cut whixh is extra . Waited 7 mins but he wasnt in any rush he took hes time and made sure my son was ok (hes scared of going to get a haircut bad experience) . my son was amazing.THANK YOU PETER C U SOON !!
