2 months agoBest barber shop in town. Johan Rodriguez makes sure you are getting the cut you want. Gets busy at times but all good barber shops get busy. I have yet to make a appointment but still manage to get in and out within a reasonable time.3 months agoI’m rather picky and have been looking for several years for a barber who I could give me the haircut I want without me having to critique them to get it right. Joe is my guy. He does a remarkable job and needs no direction. If anything, he’s a perfectionist. Highly recommend giving him a try.5 months agoCame in for a walk-in visit. One guy told us that’s fine have a seat we will be with you as soon as we can. Bald guy told us because we have two 3 year old they can’t do a fade? And because they have other “high end” clients they weren’t trying to lose time cutting my son’s hair. My son’s have gotten hair cuts since the age of 1 and don’t move they fall asleep! Lost my business before I could even give it to them. We were fine with waiting. We always tip high just because they are kids and we understand.Edit: It’s funny how it’s always the “clients problem” or the client did something wrong when you get a bad review. We went to a nice barber shop right after we left here, and they sat in the chair and got their hair cuts without moving. I left because of the disrespectful tone and being told that because they were kids & it was a friday, you were only going to do a simple cut. If you can’t handle a bad review because of your own customer service skills, that’s on you.
4 months agoRecommended this barbershop! But mostly i highly recommend Tomi Finau! Went looking for a new barber 6 months ago, was introduced Tomi, called him up last minute and he got me in with no hesitation! And I’ve been back every 2 weeks since! Great barber, amazing prices, and that ole school barbershop feel we all need!5 months agoHands down the best barbershop experience you can find in DFW. Tom is the most talented barber I’ve ever had cut my hair and I’ll never go to another person. His attention to detail and customer service is unmatched. A true professional. When you get in his chair you simply feel safe and protected. He cares. You’re in good hands. Ask for Tom.

Extremely reliable place to go and will continue to come.a year agoI went to the Texas Barber Lounge to get a tattoo done by Maya! As soon as I entered in I was greeted by all of the staff there right away. During the tattoo session Maya was very knowledgeable, kept me inform throughout the entire process, & made me feel comfortable!She took the time to listen to my idea and bring it to life in this tattoo. I appreciated her walking me through the process even though I have many tattoos already. She’s very detailed and efficient!

5 months agoI took my son to this barbershop for his first real haircut and it was such a great experience! The atmosphere is really cool. He loved playing mini basketball while waiting for his appointment. And the service was amazing! Our barber was friendly, patient, and really knew how to work with kids. He made sure my son was comfortable and happy with his new haircut. We’ll definitely be coming back!5 months agoWe found Uppercuts after another barber shop turned us away with our 2.5 year old who has very curly hair. Not only we’re they super quick, getting us in and out in 35 minutes as a walk-in on a Saturday morning, Javier was *excellent* with our son! The haircut was great and our experience was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.5 months agoLove this place, mark is amazing he has the greatest edge ups and I couldn’t ask for a better barber. He’s so lite handed and super steady handed this is the only barbershop for me.
