First time using an emergency room in my life and I could see their hard work that everyone who treated me, OMG I am grateful to God first and grateful to this hospital, the staff who treated me thank you very much for your fine attention to me, I saw people doing their job with excellence, from the one who cleaned my room to the nurse who kept me informed of my condition, thanks to each one! God bless you!a week agoEverybody was so helpful from the first moment, they didn’t hesitate to provide me with everything to make me feel good, since the reception guys, going through the nurses in ER, scanner technician, Dr Robert Schorr and his team, Andra and Liatrice, and everybody on the floorin the last weekThey don’t actually treat you here. Unprofessional slow service and dirty waiting room. They just take blood work and test you for nothing just to charge your insurance. Don’t go here!! And the staff is super mean and disrespectful. They don’t want to do their job even though they applied for it. Staff kept hanging up in my face and yelling at me for asking about my sick mother. Don’t come here.a month agoThe doctors and the majority of the medical team was outstanding! My grandmother was in excellent hands and I couldn’t be more grateful of the team! Well, most of them… We had a horrific experience with our ward nurse Freddie. Never there when we needed him and consistently rude. Never answered our questions and made the experience insufferable. It wasn’t until he went on break that we were able to get help for his extremely brilliant co-workers. Apart from Freddie we had a great experience considering… Freddie was a terrible and needs an attitude check. It would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for Freddie.

a month agoGetting labs there was an awful experience. The young woman was rude to the point that I asked for someone else to take my labs. She proceeded to yell at some other patients that didn’t speak English, as if yelling would help them better understand what she was saying. Not someone I would ever want to be near, and not someone that should be wielding a needle. Her boss and the other young man working there were great, but she was enough of nuisance that I’ll never get labs there again.2 months agoWent to this location for the second time & had the worse experience 7/7/23. Had some lab test done. The woman that checked me in, said the wait would be 50-60min. I said okay, that’s fine! But what she failed to mention, is that if your coming in for test but don’t have an appointment to be seen by a doctor. Essentially, you’re not priority and anyone with an appointment on that day will go ahead of (you). I believe the term used was “stat”. Found that out 90min after the lady told me it would be a 60min wait. Okay, no big deal. Although the communication is poor there’s nothing I can do about that. So, at this point, the wait time said 5-10min but after 30min passed & the wait time never elapsed. It was obvious the monitor displaying patients name & estimated wait time is inadequate. I soon realized every other patient who had a longer wait time, initially, had already been seen and left because they were “stat”. Which in my opinion, isnt fair because a patient can have an appointment during or after the time (I or anyone else checked in) but because they were seen, they can literally go ahead of any person who has already been waiting for an extended period of time. Again, nothing I can do…but the worse part about this whole experience is. When I approached the lab where I saw a nurse, Susan A. & kindly asked, after stating my name. “Excuse me mam Ive been waiting going on two hours and just wanted to know whats the estimated wait time?” Her reply, it says 5-10min on the monitor. Me “I understand that, but it hasn’t changed from 5-10min for 30min now”. Her reply, sorry it’s Friday, you have to wait like everyone else, as if I hadn’t been waiting like everyone else. She added, if you have any problems you can contact my supervisor and proceeds to give me a card with a barcode, as if I could get an immediate response! Ms. Susan was unprofessional, condescending, and dismissive. Furthermore, after all the miscommunication, the inaccuracies in the estimated wait time, I’m actually okay with all that. But what I can’t understand, is why a nurse wouldn’t have more etiquette, some empathy, maybe. Basically adding insult to injury! I was seen 15min after that, a grand total of 2hrs. & it took me less than 5min to give a sample specimen. Pls make this process more fair!4 months agoI have never been to a faster doctor appointment! They’re so thorough and everything was done in a timely manner! Everyone was so nice and friendly! The office itself is well organized, clean, and easy to navigate! I appreciate everyone here!!a month agoWe came in to get both my daughters physicals and my son was bleeding alittle from a scab he picked and I asked her for a alcohol pad. The nurse who helped us Towonna M Beard took him in a examination room and clean him up aswell as gave him extra bandaids just incase. She was sweet to him along with my girls during their physicals.a week agoMoms visit to Kaiser today was WONDERFUL!! From the initial check-in, then our AMAZING NURSE to our PHENOMENAL DR …..

2 months agoDr. Juan Montés was my primary physician for about 5 years or so and every time the doctor did my blood work, I was always told by Dr. Montés that I had a fatty liver. I asked the doctor on various occasions if this was something I should be concerned about he said no that I was a healthy person. This doctor never once told me that I should be concerned about having a fatty liver. I never received any medical attention for this condition that is a disease that almost killed me. He never once referred me to a liver specialist. A couple months after my last visit I had a seizure and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance from my apartment. After being hospitalized for 5 days the doctors at the hospital told my sister that I had advanced cirrhosis of the liver. When I was told that my mind turned upside down and into the worst headache I have ever had in recent years, If Doctor Juan Montés would have treated me 5 years earlier when I was diagnosed with fatty liver disease I may not have ever developed cirrhosis. I now have advanced liver disease that will affect me for the rest of my life. I will never recommend this medical clinic to anyone who is seeking a professional Doctor. This medical group is only interested in getting the most people into their doors for the insurance purposes. I’m now suffering from this disease. I’m now receiving real professional treatment by a medical specialist at UCLA. Stay safe and don’t bother wasting your time and health care. These people are useless and they don’t have very good doctors. Tengan cuidado con este doctor, porque no tienen la salud de ustedes pendiente. Worst clinic I’ve ever seen in my life!!5 months agoI just had my second appointment and honestly its been great with Dr.Roxanne She was on top of all my symptoms and request many exams and xrays to find what was causing them i had her full attention and she was listening to everything i had to say . I was very pleased with Roxanne I recommend her she’s a awesome doctor. ?2 months agoI have been going to Montes Medical for 31years and never had a bad time. The staff is very nice.11 months agoI been going here as a child, always liked it there. I started taking my kids there, now this place is horrible. The people at the front desk are not helpful at all they don’t know what they doing. They make it hard for you to even get information don’t forward anything to nurses. I love the doctors there but they definitely need new staff up front.
