a month agoI took my son to get a sports physical and the staff was so pleasant but to top it off the provider was so attentive and down to earth. She spent time explaining things to my son and I appreciate that. She was warm and that’s what we miss when we go to a doctors appointments. If I could have her as his primary, I would switch with a snap of a finger. I definitely recommend this Urgent Care hands down3 months agoDr. and the wonderful receptionist at this clinic were incredible and I can’t thank them enough!! I didn’t realize I needed a PCR test before crossing the Canadian border (yes, mainly my fault), but my only hope to see my best friends after 2 years was then and they got me in and processed my test as quickly as possible!! They were both so kind and genuinely wanted to help all of us in the same boat. I can’t say thanks enough and I can tell they are just genuinely good people to work at the clinic and help people with more serious medical issues, as well, I’m sure. Thank you for all you do!!3 months agoI suffered a fall and being from out of state was not to sure where to get seen besides going to a hospital ER…my daughter looked up the closest urgent care and made sure they had an X-ray machine if needed (they do)! They also supplied me with the proper foot brace. The next best thing is they took my out of state insurance with no problem! The care was quick and efficient:) The whole staff were friendly and very professional!!3 months agoI can’t thank UrgentMed enough for their exceptional urgent care services. When I had a severe allergic reaction, they acted swiftly and saved me from a potential disaster. Their knowledgeable team provided immediate relief and ensured my well-being. Highly recommended!2 weeks agoWait time was way too long. Over a hour and half in the waiting room even though there was only 1 other person ahead of me. Sat in the observation room for nearly just as long. I had to get out and ask the nurse twice when the doctor was coming in before she finally came in, The rooms are big but dirty as hell, The floors had stains everywhere and the walls were dark and dirty. The nurses and doctor were friendly though but the wait time was ridiculous

a month agoWent for a large hand laceration and was able to get seen relatively quickly and get stitches. The PA student was the one that treated me, Ruchi, and I can’t say enough how wonderful she was. One of the best urgent care providers I have seen, and the fact she was a student made it more impressive. She walked me through every step of the process and made sure I was comfortable.I took a star off because while I understand the current climate, they treat you like a criminal for wanting any pain medication stronger than Tylenol or ibuprofen, even a non-opioid medication. Even two days later I was in a ton of pain, and they told me they wouldn’t do anything. I can understand you can’t give it to anyone and everyone, but I have a clearly visible, clearly painful wound to my dominant hand, I didn’t expect them to be so crude about it.
6 months agoI would never come back here. They treat you like cattle, charge you a dollar for a face mask which is a part of their budget, have you wait outside instead of their lobby where they can service you. They told me that two people would be and that it would take an hour to be seen.I went to Playa Vista to the Urgent Care for Cedars Sinai and was given a free face mask, and was told to wait after two people as well. I was seated for maybe two minutes and was seen and treated. I’d never go to Bayside.
a year agoI have been here a few times. They never seem to accept the insurance once you arrive. It’s on my last experience I will no longer be going to the urgent care. There are other places nearby that are much better. Cleaner newer and more helpful than Bayside. I specifically will not be going back because of their intrusive questionnaire and like a respect for privacy and HIPAA laws. They want to know if you are vaccinated before they see you. They will still see you regardless of your vaccination status but they require you to answer. I asked if they need me any vaccine. They then inquired about only the covid-19 vaccine with no interest if you have had any others. Not understanding why they would ask such a question, They claim they were just following orders And that I could take my business somewhere else if I don’t want to answer the question. I went to a phenomenal urgent care on PCH. They did not ask such intrusive questions. They made it clear that they are in private business which is more important than patient care. Capitalism wins again.a month agoNever go there This isnt a medical center This is more like mechanic shop they just trying to patch you with the easiest thing to get you out back to work My foot still hurting and the doctor was saying that im fine and i can walk without any restrictions !!7 months agoI went there last night at 730 or so , everyone was nice except the Latina lady at the front desk that wears glasses, she was so rude to ,she didn’t even want to let me in . She was acting as If i was going to rob them or something, then inside she was rude ,not polite at all. Other than that, it’s a good after hours clinic. If she wasn’t there I would have given them a better rating..

This was our first time there.The nurse Crystal was so very nice and very attentive to my daughter.The Doctor was amazing an so caring and very patient and answered all my concerns. This urgent care was so clean. I would definitely recommend this urgent care. This will now be our emergency care from now on. They were so quick there was not a long wait time. Amazing care.?3 weeks agoGreat urgent care!! It was clean inside, looks newly remodeled. The outside didn’t look very inviting, but grounds were clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. We were served quickly. Dr. Covington was very knowledgeable and extremely understanding and helpful. We will use this urgent care again, and spread the word!3 weeks agoVery pleasant experience! I don’t get sick often, but glad to find Ocean Urgent Care today. The facility was clean, staff was pleasant and competent, no long wait (the last thing you want when you’re not feeling well), and I felt confident in the PA’s ability to assess, diagnose, and treat my condition. I would definitely return and recommend!2 weeks agoThey are very nice here and very patient. They helped me when I needed help. The nurses are caring and the Doctor listened to all my concerns. I didn’t catch her name or remember since I wasn’t 100 percent. Very nice, clean and tidy place. I would so recommend this place.a month agoIt was my first time visiting this clinic and I was impressed. From the reception, the med assistant and the physician. The receptionist was very warm and helpful. She gave me information that I need as far as my health insurance and options that I have. Dr Covington was also thorough and answered all my questions. I will definitely recommend this clinic.
