4 weeks agoThe staff was welcoming. The PA was friendly and knowledgeable with great bedside mannerisms. My only complaint is that even though I had a scheduled appointment there was quite a wait. Which carried over from the waiting area to the doctors’ office. It might help to put a Television in the exam room as well so the patients may continue to watch the show that was in the waiting room. Just an idea. The coffee station is a good touch though!a week agoI had a great experience !! I was helped by the receptionist to fill out the papers because I had trauma on my rt hand ; which I appreciated . I was promptly checked in ; my vitals were taken as well as an X-ray . The results were fully explained to me as well as the doctors reccomendations . They provided me with a disk and a written referral to my orthopedist for follow up. I loved the professional concern and speedy attention I received from the urgent care staff ! Thank you for making this very painful injury bearable !??a month agoWe had a great experience when we needed help for my daughter. First it is open until 9pm. I called in advance while driving and had excellent first impression. We were immediately helped when arrived, they offered ice pack to help with her pain in the arm, then very quickly had an xray, result and help we needed. Everyone from reception, x-ray, and doctor were extremely helpful and polite.a month agoMy name is Michelle, I go by Shelly. I was hesitant in the beginning as I tend to be for all urgent cares when attending for the first time. But this was an extremely profound experience if not the best I’ve ever had at a doctor alone. The radiology results took longer than expected but the doctor knew what she was talking about despite me believing differently upon my initial diagnosis. They even gave me a call a couple days after to ensure I was okay, telling me that if I had any further questions to reach out. Also, I received a CD copy of the X-rays which I genuinely found interesting. 10/10 would recommend!!3 months agoI desire to treat everyone equally. I’m curious as to why the lady at the front desk inquired about my insurance before giving me the registration form, while she didn’t ask the same question to others. I don’t believe she was attempting to profile or discriminate against me. However, the true professionals, including the x-ray technician, nurse, and physician’s assistant, provided excellent care to my son without any indications of discrimination.

a month agoI was looking for an urgent care to get my daughter a sports physical and found Helix. What a great experience compared to other ones we’ve been to. The staff were so nice and sweet. The wait was short in the waiting room and when we went to the back. We also loved the doctor working that shift. We would definitely go there again!3 weeks agoI went to Helix for an ear infection. The place is very clean, I was greeted right away and everyone acted professionally. I had to wait but not terribly long but that is what happens when your going for urgent care. I have waited longer at my PCP with a scheduled appointment. The attended Doctor was thorough and even called me later that evening to let me know she found an ear medication I wasn’t allergic to: I was impressed and grateful. A great healthcare experience5 months agoA Plus in South Florida , The staff was very nice. The Doctor was knowledgeable and listened to all my concerns when i was diagnosed with Covid he put me on the right track for me to tackle the Virus . I did a walk in with wait time under a hour3 months agoI ended up having to go to urgent care as my primary had no appointments available. I am giving this place a 1 star for the people at the check-in and checkout. The doctor was great but the front desk people horrible. First, I had given my insurance when I arrived and when they asked me to ensure all was correct I had asked a question as I saw it reflected a different state, she then became condescending and started to over pronounce her words to me as if I didn’t understand? I was just trying to ensure the bill would go to the correct place heading off any issues that may arise. Again, when you request to ensure all is correct don’t become ugly when the patient asks a question. Then when checking out I needed to check to ensure they were sending the prescription to the correct pharmacy. The girl said it was some other address and I stated please send to the one I provided. Her overall demeanor what extremely combative and rude. As I was leaving the goodbye was abrupt and not genuine from her. First if you’re going to an urgent care it’s sure the patients aren’t feeling well so perhaps a little compassion would be nice. I will not return to this place again.a month agoQuick, upfront with self-pay price and prices for additional tests before administering them. The doctor, nurse, and front desk staff were all very professional and extremely nice. He acknowledged every single issue I was there for.

2 weeks agoVisit date: 9/2/23 The staff was wonderful. I watched the nice lady at the front desk deal with very rude people who walked in with attitude. The nurse or medical assistant on our case was wonderful! The Doctor however, he was the worst human I’ve met in a long time. No regard for my sons autism. No bedside manner. Didn’t even look at the chart or use his name. He didn’t even use the nurses name, he referred to her as hey you. He was nasty, rude, unprofessional and disgusting! I will be reporting him to the medical board on Tuesday!a week agoWonderful and very thorough examination and a very efficient handling of all aspects of the visit. My PA Jovana Balkis was exemplary example of the best attributes in the medical profession- knowledgeable, attentive, a careful listener and a proper well thought out diagnosis.4 months agoThe fastest moving clinic I’ve ever been to. They were friendly, but focused and the care was exceptional quality. I had glass in my foot that was VERY hard to extract and they got me from walking through the front door to done in 45 minutes while being extremely nice and courteous the whole time.a month agoI was in dire pain herniated disc. The worst attitude checking in and the doctor was beyond slow finally they sent my medications to the wrong pharmacy. I called twice to check on it and they kept saying we sent it to CVS. Finally after being angry and crying they rechecked and it was sent to Publix. How can you confuse Publix and CVS. I never ever in the 4 times I used MD now has a prescription went to Publix. Truly the worst experience ever. Did I mention only 3 people waiting but it took 2 hours from start to finish truly not a place to go this was on 07.25. My order should have been sent at 3:00 and by 5 I should have had them. Now panic mode as it was 5:30 and after they realize their error my prescriptions said tomorrow at 11:00. I had to call the pharmacy and in tears please ask for my medication to get me through the night. This MD Now has inexperienced employees with little to zero skills. Clients should get a refund for service like this2 months agoI had a visit at this location today. I was absolutely blown away by the lack of professionalism, rudeness , and disrespect from a staff member at front desk who I nicely corrected the pronunciation of my last name. Her Response was “ it’s not a big deal “then I was further challenged by another staff member who came in to swab my nose. she does not announce her name or who she is or even telling what she is doing. Her only words to me was “ the more you move your head back the more this will be pushed into your nose “ this aggressive behavior is not acceptable. the staff members appear angry and unhappy. I am an Rn , I take care of sick people all day . Never would I imagine speaking to patients this way. I will never return to this facility. I will be sure to pass on my experience to others to make aware.I will say that the Dr. Was very nice, but I wouldn’t recommend coming here.
