  Love the Botanical Garden. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. Orchid Show was fantastic. But anytime I visit I truly appreciate the beauty of the gardens and just being out in nature.

  An amazing shop with tons of orchids, seeds, plants, plant goods, plant themed goods such as paintings, clothing, decorative items, jewellery and a lot more. Prices are pretty decent with seeds around 4-5 dollars, orchids around 20-30 etc. Garden members get a 10% discount and they pack all items really well. It is also located close to the main entrance parking.

  It smells like happiness and the Holidays as soon as you walk in. I love it. I wish I could bottle up the smell honestly. They have everything in this gift shop. Plants, books, candles, BEAUTIFUL Holiday decorations, fancy creams, oils, aifreshners, clothes, toys, they even sell fancy sauces in glass jars.

  THEY ARE EXPENSIVE ON REALLY INEXPENSIVE HERBS! I was in a rush and bought 6 stem of herbs to grow. When I finally went home and looked at the receipt I realized that I was charged $48. $48?!?! (look at picture) you know how much more herbs I could have bought with $48 I called thinking that there was a mistake but it didn’t and I cannot even return them. Horrible Customers Service! To URBAN GARDEN CENTER… THAT WAS A ROBBERY. Everywhere else are 3$ each! There were no price around that listed herbs prices. Do not spend your money there!   I ordered a city cord of firewood from urban garden center as I have in past years. This year the wood arrived wet, hissing, and unable to be burned. I attempted calling urban garden center 20 times. Once Sarah answered the phone assuring me the situation would be resolved. It still has not been. No one has contacted me though I have tried through email, phone and text message multiple times. The customer service has been non-existant and now halfway through winter I still don’t have usable firewood. I will never purchase something from urban garden center again, which is a shame as I have had positive past experiences. This is most disappointing.

  The Urban Garden Center has an excellent variety of plants and planters. They also have whatever you require for your planting needs– like hanging planter rope, air plant holders, terrariums, compost!, standing terra-cotta plant holders, etc– the list goes on! They have appropriate price points for their plants too. Even if you just want to take a nice walk through nature ( under the train station) in the city and see some beautiful greenery– stop by and enjoy! Oh and they have chickens!

  Really nice place in the area. Actually one of the only places I know uptown you can buy quality plants and trees. And there is delivery. It’s a more get what you want, and they don’t exactly wait on you unless you have specific question. Still… Recommend it highly.

  The transplanting of my 55 year old plant was done beautifully. This was the 6th transplant since 1967 but the most delicate as it involved separating several stalks and downsizing to 2 smaller pots Great job and it has never looked better!

  They have large collections. We got flower plants and it’s comes with one year warranty. It’s my first time there. I like it and will be back however customer service was poor from few employees and some of them were good.

  I had the best experience at the fresh flower department with ANNA MARIA!! She’s an asset to Garden World! We’re having a Mass said for my late mother tomorrow and ANNA MARIA hand picked the beautiful flowers and walked me thru how to arrange them! I’ll be back thanks to people like her!!

  I have been to this local garden shop pretty frequent recently since I bought a new house nearby. I agree with some comments saying there was this one blonde old lady at cashier is pretty rude and impatient. However, other staff members are always helpful and knowledgeable. Also when I visit yesterday, they had a new cashier who was sooooo much nicer……… Since I’m new to the planting, I always ask questions when I purchase in there, and I always get answers. The young lady at the repotting center also didn’t charge me for the potting soil since I bought a pot in the store. Overall I am pretty satisfied with this local garden store, and will definitely revisit again.
