  I was able to reach out to the owner. He was very polite and apologetic towards me. I feel for him and I’m not really blaming. It’s just an unfortunate moment when barbers are rushed I feel. I just thought it was a simple hair cut to be fair. Since majority of the hispanic community at least for men. Kinda wear the same hair cut. By the end of the day. No one wins because something is lost in between. Hopefully in the next few months I can swing back in. I love the place and recommend it to folks. It’s clean and very great atmosphere.

  Just a small recommendation. The entire area should be sanitized and clean before another customer sits down. Hair from the previous customer were on the ground still and I don’t think there was enough time to really clean all the scissors or buzzers used.

  Also making it easier to choose your stylist be great. I didn’t even know that option was available when I signed up for the haircut. Surprisingly it’s a drop down box which you can easily miss if you don’t pay attention.

  Anyways. I still got love the V’s Barbershop and will continue to go. Just making sure I stick with the same barber would probably be best.

  My first experience was amazing. Mid fade slick back goes amazing with my beard. My second cut. Made me want to cry. I lost so much length that took me a year to grow. Now my hair is short and doesn’t slick back anymore cause there is literally no length. Hair is just hair but I’m much older now and hair doesn’t grow as fast. Pretty disappointed. I wish I stuck with my original barber. Now it will be months till I can regain my confidence again.

  The picture I attach was my original hair I had before for the cut. All I ask was for a higher fade like the picture shown. Literally like my high-school days but nope. I got some random cut that can’t be styled.

  Gonna be fun wearing a hat for the next few months.

  Staff was friendly and efficient. Even though it was busy we didn’t feel rushed. Katie was wonderful. My son loves his new haircut and had a great time. 10/10 recommend.

  First time in my life I was able to grow out my hair and get a beard. I was super nervous but everyone at V’s was so nice and atmosphere was very positive. I’m very happy with my cut and found a new stylist to take care of me. Her name is Erin. She so sweet and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a fresh cut. I’ll be back soon!

  Fantastic experience at V’s! They’re rated best in the valley for a reason. Beautiful shop – clean and as classic as it gets. Erin gave me a great taper cut and cleaned me up with a straight razor neck shave, which is a must for a true barbershop experience in my book. She listened to what I needed, didn’t rush me through, was a pleasure to chat with, and knew what she was about. 5 stars for you, Erin, and thanks for a great cut!

  First time at V’s was GREAT! This is a full service barber shop that offers a FREE, non-alcoholic beverage while you wait. My barber Michael was awesome. I do recommend making an appointment but he was able to squeeze me in. The shop is a well decorated, clean, and family friendly atmosphere. My basic haircut was $30. Other services are additional.

  The first two haircuts I had at sports clips were great. Unfortunately, the third haircut I had at the Meridian store off Eagle was from a very nice Ecuadorian woman, but she needs to pay more attention to details. She trimmed way too high over the ears and I had to get another haircut the next day to fix it. I will be choosing another location.

  If your hours say you will be open, I would assume that you would be open to receiving people checking in up until closing at 8pm, this is your posted closing hours. Your app stops allowing people to check in online, sometimes up to 2 hours before closing. I understand this could be a choice by a staff member or maybe it’s an algorithm that decides, yet I have come in to stores that are completely empty when you’re app will not accept an appointment and walk-ins have always been welcomed. Some of your stores are very accommodating with this shortfall in your scheduling app. The ability to check in online can be a strong point unless you’re leaving town and need a haircut, and your app is not accepting appointments. I have had my haircut at your boise, meridian, eagle, Nampa, Caldwell and Chinden stores because I go to the closest location at the end of my work day working in the service industry. So based on past experience that the app Could be malfunctioning or just turned off I rushed across town to get a haircut before closing and was turned away at the door “saying did you check in on-line? “No the app isn’t working (me) ” Sorry we are closing soon you cannot check in”. Not said but thinking, Yes, I know you’re closing soon, and yes, I understand your doors are open with multiple people sitting in chairs indicating to me your company will be cutting hair after 8:00 p.m. I have sat in your stores for more than an hour at times to get a haircut! Good haircuts by good people I might add. A sacrifice of my time to support your business. Hint, hint I would suggest paying your employees more. These employees have got to be bringing in a huge amount of Revenue to your ownership group. Suggestion; Hire more people for your busy times as it has been my experience chairs are commonly sitting vacant of a hair cutter employee during your busiest hours. Can you imagine going to your local grocery store 10 to 15 minutes before closing and not being allowed, to enter the store or to check out after the doors have been locked on one side after closing. No fault of The Employee that turned me away, I do understand. Your company’s policy is probably unclear of what to do with last minute haircuts or I would not have received great service shortly before closing in the past. I also understand people get tired and are overworked because of this, I find myself usually tipping $20 or more for a haircut. I HATE posting negative reviews but this is now the 3rd time this has happened to me at this location over the last couple of years. The most recent time was 30 minutes before closing about 6 months ago, so as you guessed it , I probably will not be using this companies location again. I’ve been to other locations different times of day and different times of week. All of your employees at all locations are great and it’s obvious they work . Sports clips has a great business model I think however you should talk to your franchise since your locally owned about fixing this problem. Maybe post on the door no walk-ins 30 minutes before closing! Little vinyl letters on your door to clarify if this is your policy??? just a suggestion. Sorry for the bad review hopefully it helps your business perform better.

  Most of the stylists are very talented and usually give a great haircut. Some are very friendly and outgoing, others not so much. All in all, usually a great experience and cut. Shout out to a few great stylists. Lt, karley, patty, and a few others whose names I can’t seem to remember.

  Completely unprofessional work environment. Employees do not seem to follow any protocols with the exclusion of 1 employee. Barber failed to mention that it was their first time cutting until after it was done. I would not have got my hair cut by that person if I knew that due to the complexity of the cut. Completely dissatisfied and I will not be returning to this location again.

  ONLY go here if you absolutely MUST. Made the mistake of trying a trim here while my stylist was booked out several weeks. The quality is pretty bad. Even for a trim. Good for kids. Not recommend for adults.
