6 months agoLooking for a clean fade for the weekend? This is the spot. Recently had a situation with a barber and was immediately in need of another location to go to on a regular basis. Small parking lot on sixth street adjacent to the building, upon entrance is a variety of overhead T.V’s and barber stations. I was greeted and immediately attended to with warm hospitality. I didn’t have cash, but fortunately Casa De Cortes Rivera offers an ATM to make things convenient. Cut was clean, crisp and faster than usual at an unbeatable price. The kind of place where tipping is a must as the cuts are that fresh! Highly recommend with plenty to visually look at with art and music references on the walls.7 months agoReally good barbershop been here since I was a kid. Miguel will take care of you if you call the number. I always make my appointments with Mike! Never disappoints me ??a year agoThis place needs their outside sign done! Being the Rivieras, this barber shop place needs a clean up. Why does it look dirty and ghetto?!? Not trying to bash, on this shop. But come on! Why does it look like this ?? I understand it’s not in the nicest place in corona, but it doesn’t mean to have your shop in bad condition. Come on Juan!a year agoI give this place 5 stars just because of the name #1!!! And I can wait for my son’s hair to grow out from a bad cut he got before school. Not from here but I’m hoping that Juan is there still cutting hair! I plan on coming in October some time. Ahhhhhuahhh ????3 years agoWent there today 5/21 as I need some help I jacked up my own hair cutting it myself! Now in my own defense I have be cutting my son’s hair and my own for years and I’m usually pretty good but not today took a gash out of my hair. I looked up a barber near me and the top 2 Google rated barbers it showed they were taking customers by appointment I went with the number 1 rated Casa De Cortes. I was able to be squeezed in as I had no appointment but they came to the rescue of a bad do it yourself job and turned it into a great cut! Gloves worn, face masks, all the safety for customers and cool music and cool vibe, and most importantly a great cut! (TIP THESE BUSINESSES AND BUSINESS OWNERS AS GOOD AS YOU CAN LET’S HELP EACH OTHER REBOUND OUT OF THIS!)

a month agoI will start off by saying, I got a nice haircut here. It looked great and didn’t take too long. The staff is nice, and its easy to hold a quality conversation with these young men. The only reason I cant give this along with many other great men’s barber shops is simply due to the price. Since when did a haircut cost you about $40 plus tip. I would gladly pay 10$ for a haircut that uses bic disposable razors then pay $40 for a guy that uses a straight razor with the hot shaving cream and everything else. I appreciate the effort and if that is what you are into this is a great place to go, and you should check it out. I’m just to cheap to warrant $40+ biweekly. Sorry guys maybe if I have a wedding or something like that I’ll pop by but its gonna be fantastic sams and I’ll just accept the cuts on the ears.in the last weekThis is now my favorite Spot in corona for haircuts. It’s a 20 min drive from Riverside but worth it. Marlon was professional and did a great job. Definitely, going to come back!5 months agoShout out to Duke the manager He did an awesome job with my husband haircut. We went in Saturday afternoon around 4pm. The shop was empty all the babers were just standing around on there phones texting with no customers. Duke had told us he had an appointment walking in but that someone would help us and he ask everyone and they all said No that they had appointments coming in. So he end up cutting his hair because we were sitting there for ten minutes without any help. It’s pretty sad how they don’t help customers out there and just leave one person to do it all. We been coming here for years and never seen such disappointment.6 months agoAlways a great atmosphere when I walk in there! All barbers are really nice and welcoming. My barber Jay is the MAN and one of the best barbers in the IE in my opinion. Not to mention super friendly as well. If you’re looking for a barber shop in the IE and or new barber shop then this is the spot to be at.in the last weekThe homie Marlon!!! Best barber around !! Always hooks it up. Thanks for showing love bro ?♻️

2 months agoThis place is a staple. Been around for decades. Good value.Service is not amazing, but you get a good value. for $25 on average it’s a good place for hairstyles typical to white and hispanic clients. I typically get the “gentlemans cut”.
Nice atmosphere, they romanticize the 1950s, so if that’s your thing then this is the place. Music and decor is vintage.
Staff is friendly but very sensitive so keep conversation light. only message them during hours of 10-4 on Monday – Friday or they will respond upset (in my experience).
If you hate your haircut and plan on coming again, you will have to lie or their feelings get hurt. Asking for tweaks is fine. But if you sound negative, they take it very harshly. so pick your battles wisely.
5 months agoVery friendly place. Professional, courteous barbers. Took care of our homeless friend who requested a total head shave for the summer. Cue Ball, but they were totally gracious!2 months agoBest ? shop in corona hands down ! Angle and primo will take car of you.5 months agoHonestly when it comes to my hair I’m super picky ..last tym I come here ..they are nice people thow.10 months agoI called in today to talk to the owner…right off the bat the “owner” wasnt friendly because i asked to speak to the owner. The phone was passed i asked once more to make sure if it was the owner then abruptly asked what my business i said my name and i proceed to ask for his…then he says “dude” and hangs up. What he didnt know was im a barber calling from another barbershop to let him know my shop got robbed in the early morning and so he can be aware of the matter and if anyone comes to his shop selling he can hold them and call the shop, but instead he had no patience and no business manner. I wouldnt do business with them at all, very sad.

The Ultimate Guide to Men’s Haircut Prices in the U.S
When it comes to getting a haircut, many factors influence the price you’ll pay, especially in the United States. While the average cost of a men’s haircut hovers around $29, this number can fluctuate based on various considerations like your location, the expertise of the stylist, and the complexity of the haircut you desire. This comprehensive guide aims to break down these variables and offer tips on getting a quality haircut without breaking the bank.
One of the primary factors affecting the cost of a haircut is the location. Whether you live in an urban, suburban, or rural area can significantly impact the price you’ll pay at the salon or barbershop.
Average Cost of Men’s Haircuts by Location
Location | Average Cost Range |
---|---|
Urban areas | $30 – $40 |
Suburban areas | $25 – $35 |
Rural areas | $20 – $25 |
As evident from the table, haircuts in urban areas tend to be the most expensive, with prices potentially going even higher in high-end salons in major cities. In contrast, rural areas offer the most affordable options.
If you’re searching for affordability, chain salons and barbershops are good alternatives. Students can often take advantage of discounts to further minimize costs.
