4 months agoI booked 2 appointments for my son and husband. They both got regular hair cuts. Alma, did an amazing job on my husband with the initial haircut. She’s a certified barber, so she was able to give him a razor cut on his neck to shape him up. She also went in with a hot towel and gave him a nice massage in his neck. Then she washed his hair and blew dry it and went back in again with trimmers to make sure everything was perfect and finished by styling it for him. Jensen, cut my sons hair and was super sweet and patient with us. She also washed my son’s hair and styled it for him and gave me tips on how to help style it in the future. Overall customer service was a 10 out of 10. They also offer a complimentary drinks and lollipops for the children which is a nice little perk. Everything is super affordable and I would recommend this place to anyone! Not to mention how clean and nice the atmosphere and ambience is.2 months agoBrianna was the one that cut and trimmed my hair and beard today. She really did a good job, she took her time and even went back and fixed a few things that she saw afterwards. I was most impressed with her beard trim because I’ve had allot of people trim my beard and it’s usually never even at the end but she took her time and made sure everything was even and then re-washed my hair again then threw some product in at the end. Because of her I will return and schedule my next apt with her again. Thank you for your time.4 months agoThe Basics: The shop is very well run by Jessica. Cleanliness is a priority and everyone treats you with respect.The Details: I had very long hair and had no idea how I wanted it cut. Jessica was patient and let me make the decision after our lengthy discussion. I’m very happy with the result. You can trust any of the stylists/barbers on staff in Mansfield.

And subway right there for the longer waits.4 months agoI was able to get in, get a cut and be on my way in next to no time. These ladies did a great job and did exactly what I asked for without hesitation. Parking was plentiful and easy to get in and out of, shop was very clean and inviting like you’d expect. Wish they had beer like knockouts?. 17 kids/seniors 21 adults 27 w/shampoo and message.4 years agoI wanted to get a haircut for my birthday yesterday, I normally go to the same barber every week but decided Sports Clips due to the free upgrade I read about. I asked for a simple low taper clean up with a 0. The stylist then pointed to the correct spot in where to begin but then she cut about 2 inches above the taper point of my hair which is really high.For the sake of trying something different I just dealt with it. I was taken to wash my hair, then styled. At the end of the day , I returned home and washed my hair and noticed even more major flaws. The taper line is very uneven and still heavily visible on some parts, the left side had been taken all the way up with the same gaurd (possibly a 1) and erased the fade effect completely, and the front of “fade” is very uneven.
I can’t even comb over my hair to cover up the missing fade side because my hair on top had also been cut uneven. The more I tried to style my hair myself, the more frustrated I get and notice more and more. I went from a simple taper request to a very sloppy Mohawk look with an extremely bad fade attempt.
I am very embarrassed because after washing my own hair and scrubbing away the excess hair, it looks horrible and unfinished. I felt confident in going in for a simple taper from a place that specializes in Men’s cuts but unfortunately regret it. I am sorry for the bad review but I feel the stylist needs more training after seeing the aftermath when returning home.

2 months agoKendra did a great job on my sons hair. He had been wanting a fade and we couldn’t find a spot that could do it right. He is walking around with a whole bunch of confidence already. Super clean, well kept place with really down to earth barbers. Huge fan of their “back in the day” music choices as well ? . My kid loved his haircut for the first time. Husband also loved this place so much he’s willing to wait for an appointment.6 months agoI avoid haircuts and doctors unless badly needed because they both give me anxiety. I tried this place out as it is local and nicely reviewed.The shop is nice, I really like the ambiance, and the people are nice. Boston Nick was cool. (He didn’t cut my hair)
I had a scissor cut and it is always hard to judge immediately. Later that night, after I showered, I found that my hair was very badly done. It was very bad, uneven in many spots and too short in certain spots and not blended well.
I do not want to be unfair, I think this is likely a quality spot. I did not go back and ask them to fix it. This is part of the anxiety. I just went to one of the franchise spots down the road and paid for another haircut to cut my hair off short so I can begin the long process of growing it back out.
Most of the other patrons were getting clipper cuts, fades, and such, even beard work. They seem very good at that kind of thing.
a year agoCan’t go wrong at Vintage Barbershop!! Only advise … book ahead! Their appointments fill up fast and it’s hard to get walk in service, since they are busy … which only confirms how great the staff are here! And Penni does a really good job! Haircuts, beard and even kid’s cuts!!
