2 months agoI’ve been to this salon multiple times and absolutely love it! Bella does my hair each time and she’s amazing! I always feel like I’m glowing when I leave the salon because she does such a great job. This is the most recent time she’s dyed my hair red.a year agoI’ve made this joke a lot, but Trish is literally a hair wizard. She can take my hair (no matter how bad of a state it’s in) and craft it into something beautiful. From box dye to 3AM emotional bang cutting sessions, she’s saved me from it all. She’s more than skilled with scissors, she’s magically gifted! If you want your hair to be the most fun, alive, vibrant and beautiful as it can possibly be then please go see Trish! Not to mention she’s so fun to talk to. 🙂a year agoI am WAY over due for this review, but that should tell you just how much I LOVE my stylist and hair after visiting Mary at Muse Salon & Spa!!! I went from hot mess to just ? HOT ? I have very fine, brittle, thin, naturally blonde hair, but after months upon months of not being out in the sun and playing with too many washout colors — my hair was not it’s normal self and I needed help. I have had horrible experiences in the past and Mary made me feel at ease. She made my hair feel fresh and healthy. Mary did a great job bringing back the baby blonde hair color I had been missing. Mary has my vote of confidence, and if you are a natural blonde you know how hard it is to find the right stylist to tend to your hair. Mary ALSO went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and squeezed me it to make my schedule work prior to a big family event. Make sure you ask for Mary!7 months agoI just moved to Georgia in July I have had a hard time with trusting anyone do my hair. I have only had 2 hairdressers my whole life and I am almost 40 lol. I saw Bella at the salon and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! So sweet and very helpful in helping me decide what I wanted to do. Since I hadn’t had my hair done in so long it was in BAD shape!! She turned it in to a beautiful beautiful color and style!! I have had so many compliments and I am I LOVE with it!! The experience was also so amazing she will definitely give you the royal treatment when you go see her I highly recommend!!4 months agoTrish did an amazing job with my color/highlights. Truly in awe by the results. She is very knowledgeable and a true artist. Appreciated the consult to discuss my thoughts and her suggestions too.

a month agoDerick is amazing and we are consistently impressed with this barber shop. My son has been getting his hair cut with him since he was 6 years old and they are now buddies. He’s great with kids and the establishment is clean + well-maintained.8 months agoMy father has Dimentia/Parkinson disease. He enjoyed how there wasn’t many people waiting so he can relax. The barber was very understanding and careful with my dad’s jerky movements. My father can’t wait to go again2 months agoMake sure to research who your barber will be. I asked to keep it on the longer side and I left looking like I was ready for bootcamp. Seriously, if you have long hair and like to keep it that way, do not go to jack and sons. If they ask if you want it off the ears, make sure to specify that you still want to keep the hair above your ears.2 years agoMy wife and I accidentally discovered this jewel of a barbershop while attending a separate event. I sorely needed a haircut due to the lock-down but didn’t want to go to a salon just for a man’s haircut. Derek was my barber and was getting ready to go home when we arrived. He quickly put his things down and welcomed my wife and I into his shop and went right to work on giving me a haircut! And what a haircut it was too!! Looked great and was expertly and professionally executed by Derrick! It looked so good that my wife took several photos of it and posted them on Facebook!! Thank You so much Derek for, not only taking us in on a Sunday late, but for the stellar haircut as well AND the wonderful conversation!!! -Matthew & Marissa5 months agoAVOID GETTING A CUT FROM TONY! He doesn’t know what a fade is! I went a few months back to get a haircut, he made me wait an hour for a scheduled appointment. I asked for a fade then he just boxed and shaped my lines. I asked him to fix it and give me an actual fade, then proceeded to cut my hair a bit shorter. I didn’t know this until I got into the car, so I just went to a REAL barbershop to get my fade fixed. Avoid this place at all costs and save your money elsewhere.

2 weeks agoThat it the only place around Roswell, Alpharetta and John’s Creek where you get a consistently perfect haircut for a reasonable price. And I’ve tried different places. After my last bad experience I came back to “Old School” to fix what some other barber did. From now on – only this place3 weeks ago5 stars all the way. Great cut. Hot shave and great service. Enjoyed my visit.a month agoIt took me years to eventually find a trustable and professional barber. Roman is simply awesome.8 months agoReally disappointed in this shop for my sons haircut. This was our first time using the shop as we just moved to the area. The cut isn’t what I asked for and he cut my son and made him bleed. The barber was rude when it was our turn. I could accepted that was because he was stressed that there was a bit of a line building up. But he also was really rough with my 5 year old. I understand children can be challenging but my son is great for haircuts. He doesn’t move and is very polite. And if you don’t want to cut kids hair don’t advertise. The only time he did move was when his ear was cut (which I didn’t realize until after we left) and the barber scolded him for moving. If I had realized he had cut him I would have said something right then and stopped the cut. My sons hair grows really fast and I have never had an issue before today. Really disappointing considering all the positive reviews
3 months agoRoman always does a fantastic job. Been coming to him for years and will continue to!

The Ultimate Guide to Men’s Haircut Prices in the U.S
When it comes to getting a haircut, many factors influence the price you’ll pay, especially in the United States. While the average cost of a men’s haircut hovers around $29, this number can fluctuate based on various considerations like your location, the expertise of the stylist, and the complexity of the haircut you desire. This comprehensive guide aims to break down these variables and offer tips on getting a quality haircut without breaking the bank.
One of the primary factors affecting the cost of a haircut is the location. Whether you live in an urban, suburban, or rural area can significantly impact the price you’ll pay at the salon or barbershop.
Average Cost of Men’s Haircuts by Location
Location | Average Cost Range |
---|---|
Urban areas | $30 – $40 |
Suburban areas | $25 – $35 |
Rural areas | $20 – $25 |
As evident from the table, haircuts in urban areas tend to be the most expensive, with prices potentially going even higher in high-end salons in major cities. In contrast, rural areas offer the most affordable options.
If you’re searching for affordability, chain salons and barbershops are good alternatives. Students can often take advantage of discounts to further minimize costs.
