a week agoI was in so much pain and I ended up breaking my left foot and left wrist, I am an impatient person, but the whole experience went extremely well and fast. I didn’t have to wait a long time. Everything went smoothly and quickly. The team there were extremely nice and very helpful. Everyone did a fantastic job. Thank you so much for confirming what I knew. I’m very pleased that I came in for help, and will come back if I need more help. God Bless you all. Everyone was so sweet and accommodating. The doctor briefly looked at it and sent me to ER. As I anticipated the ER cleaned and stitched my wound. Your doc said he wouldn’t do it because there may be cut tendons. Even I know there are no tendons between your skin and knee cap. I just had the feeling that he didn’t want to be bothered with it. And I would have liked not to have to pay an ER co-payment! I have had many excellent BayCare experiences in the past and I’m hoping this is a one off.2 weeks agoIt would be great if doctors would actually listen to a patients concern. I’m the one in my body I know how it feels, when I plead with the doctor to prescribe me the same drug but it liquid form I really don’t appreciate when they tell me no and that the pill is small. I could barely swallow my own spit and told the doctor there was no way I could swallow a pill no matter how much I wanted to in order to feel better. I wasted money by having to get 2 prescriptions because I could not take the pill form. The pharmacist didn’t understand why they wouldn’t prescribe me the liquid and told us to call back and get it prescribed. I could’ve felt better a lot sooner had the doctor just listened to my request.in the last weekWhen I checked in, I was told the wait time was a little over an hour after two hours. I walked up and asked if they knew how much longer it would be. I was told not really sure, but I should be next 30 minutes later they called me in And took my vitals then told me as they were walking out the doctor would be right in. I waited 45 minutes in the exam room by myself until I eventually open the door and got the attention of one of the women sitting at a computer I asked did you guys forget about me? I’ve been sitting in here for 45 minutes , her response was I don’t know let me see, about a minute later the doctor came in the room. She spent about five minutes with me and sent me on my way. I just don’t understand how I could spend over 3 1/2 hours in a place that only had a couple people waiting when I got there to spend five minutes with the doctor to get what I needed.a month agoThe doc was one of the best docs I have experienced with great care. I can’t remember her last name her first name was Timi & her last name I know started with a M. She was. Dry patient & caring. The staff was also very caring too they all made a great team together.

My primary doctor is the one who referred me, because their office schedule could not take another patient.a month agoI have been to Guidewell 3 times. All visits were very pleasant! I was treated with respect. My son was treated very well and given snacks. It was very clean as well! My son burned his hand and I had strep. We were taken immediately back and seen by nurses and doctors quickly. They are very efficient!4 months agoSo happy Dr Snyder made the journey to guidewell ER, All staff is helpful and conscientious and if you’re a hard stick someone is always there to get the IV done!! My husband had been there and raved about it. Since my doctor on my insurance was TOO BUSY for an emergency illness for me, I went there. I was so pleasantly surprised. 4 months agoWe initially took my sweet boy to his vet for an exam because he was experiencing some weight loss and increased lethargy. During his vet visit, he took a sudden turn for the worst. He started experiencing difficulty breathing and his mouth became pale so the vet advised us to take him to the ER immediately. When we got there, they took him in immediately and started working on him. Come to find out he most likely had metastatic cancer and he was bleeding into his abdomen. The veterinarian said there was little that could be done except for surgery which he likely wouldn’t survive because he had an extremely high risk of bleeding out, even with transfusions. The vet was fair for with our options but also realistic. My baby was fading away fast. We made the incredibly hard decision to put him to sleep so he wouldn’t suffer anymore. All of the staff were very gentle and sympathetic to us. Even though it was a terrible situation, I am thankful we were able to end his suffering with their help. The staff handled it very calmly and professionally. Here’s a silly photo of him sleeping on a bed that was way too small for him. He will be missed by so many people. He was part of our family. ❤️a week agoI wanted to leave this review before I forgot to…I just returned with my pups from a scary hospitalization and the staff was amazing! Justin at the desk was very calm and compassionate and awesome customer service. The nurse Arlene was amazing! Felt like she likes to build relationships with her patients and owners as if they are her own. Charlie and Gunner were lucky to have had such great care. Thanks again!!!!2 months agoI took my dog because he got very sick. Unfortunately he passed as soon as we got there. I just want to thank the staff for all of their support for my TONKA. This was unexpected. They were supportive. On Monday when I got home I received a beautiful card with everyone’s signature and Tonka’s last paw print. That was touching. Thank you for that and for your support for us and for my boy. He was such a good boy. We miss him so much.4 months agoFirst of all I don’t post reviews unless I feel like it’s absolutely warranted. Prior to posting anything negative, I try to resolve it with the business first. Anyway here goes.The administration that has taken over TBVS is clearly money hungry. They don’t return phone calls nor are they compassionate. 70% of the staff left due to them creating a “Thank you, next” model where they focus on quantity over quality. The new owners want a money machine and sadly I got a first hand account.
Our experience and story:
We were given a referral from our vet for a true cut biopsy and scheduled the surgery due to our beagle mix(Holly) having a possible cancer diagnosis. The day before our scheduled surgery TBVS called asking what we were coming in for, we again explained and emailed our referral to them telling them we needed to know for sure what Holly has because a fine needle biopsy test was inconclusive.
We went to TBVS on our appointment date and they took Holly in the back. About 30 minutes later they walk her out and provide us with ultrasound results saying she has a liver tumor. We were shocked and said we had a surgery biopsy planned, we were told they didn’t think that was the best course of action for Holly. We got charged $780 for the ultrasound visit and we’re told “They must establish a patient vet relationship” I.e. squeeze more money from each patient prior to giving the care you’re requesting.
After several phone calls and asking to speak with a supervisor I was transferred to JB. She claimed there was a miscommunication and would speak to the accounting side of TBVS however it’s been over two months of phone tag. They clearly don’t care about Holly nor do they want to provide an explanation.
Frankly I would be terrified to bring my pet here. My business stopped using them as their after hours emergency vet due to another incident I will not discuss here. There are much better places in Pinellas county.
a week agoWe brought our dog in because she was experiencing a dry cough and a hard time breathing. We didn’t think she was going to make it. After spending the day in an oxygen kennel and being put on meds that weren’t prescribed by her primary vet, 24 hours later I have my baby back. She hasn’t looked this good in weeks and I highly recommend Dr. Randall. Thank you for caring! Thank you for saving my baby!
