2 months agoUpon arrival we were greeted by Ana at the reception desk. She was very helpful and put us through right away. She checked my son’s vitals and made him feel very comfortable. She also put me at ease with her patience and her self being. Juan the nurse was also very thorough with his assessment and put us in a room right away. Great experience every time we need to come in.2 months agoThe staff and nurses were all super helpful and understanding. They made me feel calm and always explained every procedure. I truly felt taken care of. Every member of the staff were attentive and helpful. The female doctor made sure to reassure me and answered all my questions. I would totally recommend South Texas Health System ER to anyone in need.3 months agoI have consistently had a fast and professional experience when seeking emergency treatment for my children in instances where their pediatrician is unavailable. I have always felt welcomed and have never been turned away for any of the services offered, including minor ones. During my most recent visit, Omar, the nurse, and another young lady who took my son’s vitals were very professional and courteous, which I greatly appreciated.2 weeks agoFirst impression of Dr. walking in the room wasn’t well taken. He came in as if i was bothering him and he had to do Hes job for once. I didn’t need the patient education talk at 5am while i was short of breath. My weight issue and everything else I’m well aware of it and am working on it. The nurse that attended me for my swabs and administered my injection was amazing. I don’t remember her name but she was wearing a headband or bandana.a month agoYour staff is prompt, courteous & professional. I was in & out within 30 minutes. The cost for an X-ray was affordable $50. Highly recommend STHS have utilized their services before and have never been disappointed. Thank you!

a month agoPlease do not go here. Long wait and they truly do not take the time to check your baby properly. I already switched providers to a particular.Most experiences have been poor but this last one really frustrated me. I was at my relatives in Mexico, after a 5-6hrs drive back home, I go straight to the Clinic to take my 4 month old.
I go in and the smell is UNBEREABLE. They had big fans on cause they had just painted the whole Clinic. It smells so bad like chemicals I couldn’t even use the restroom to change baby.
I stood outside, by the door in the heat thinking I would be taken in soon since there were NO PATIENTS. A lady driving by even saw me holding baby in the heat and told me to wait in the car, that she knew it smelled really bad inside.
I ended up going yo my car instead. Horrible.
After more than an hr wait, baby is seen by a blond physicians and gives us nothing!!! Absolutely nothing for her constipation!! No change of formula, no suppository, no med no nothing!!!
5 months agoReceptionist was polite and quick to get us in. The CNA who took vitals was so kind and explained everything to us. Doctor took her time to evaluate my daughter and provided us with a resource list of foods to avoid. First time in a long time that we were out in less than an hour. Will definitely return.4 months agoWhile there was a wait due to how many people needed to be seen today, the process isn’t bad at all! 4 months agoThe young man that took my sons vitals was excellent. He introduced himself and was very thorough. The night shift on the other hand is extremely rude. The NP Morales is always misdiagnosing my kids and shows no concern. She is not open to feedback. The only reason I come back is to see Dr Ang, he is excellent!!6 months agoSuper fast usually takes longer to get seen by Dr, but today was pretty quick and tentative care! Thank you ❤️
