  Review: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Shasta Community Health Center on Placer St., and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff and nurses at the center were incredibly patient, kind, and accommodating throughout my visit.

  I want to extend a special appreciation to Dr. Hutch, who treated my daughter with utmost care and kindness. He was not only professional but also displayed a genuine sweetness that put my daughter at ease. Dr. Hutch took the time to listen to our concerns, answer our questions, and provide the necessary medical attention. We felt valued and well taken care of under his guidance.

  Very efficient and all were very pleasant in their interactions. I’d been walking on a broken foot for 3 weeks thinking it was just bruised. They went above and beyond to get me into urgent care and x-ray before folks went to lunch and were able to quickly diagnose and triage my foot. I’ll definitely be back should I ever need urgent care in this area in the future.

  Love to use the video visits with my doctor as I have trouble walking great distances. Even by parking in the loop it is still a ways to the elevators for visit etc. Keep doing what you are doing as it is a great asset to our community and so much better than it was in the 80’s and 90’s.

  I took my granddaughter in for her well-child check-up. We weren’t kept waiting very long before we were called in to see the nurse. She was very fun and made my granddaughter feel at ease immediately. The doctor, scribe, and an intern observing the doctor entered the room and were all very pleasant, and thorough. We were in and out very quickly and my granddaughter was very happy to receive a free chapter book after her check-up was completed.

  I like my dr., my dr is very thorough, thoughtful, and caring! However, I’ve had 3 scheduled appointments since I have been assigned to this particular doctor. I have gone to each one. The first one was a normal, check in and wait a reasonable time to see your doctor. The next one not so much. I arrived and was called in in a reasonable time, however, I sat and waited in the exam room for a really long time. It was probably a hour and a half since I was called in and vitals were done and still haven’t talked to my Dr. I was getting ready to just leave and the Dr. Noticed that i was very unhappy and discouraged as I stood by the opening of the door to get someone’s attention. He came in and calmed me down and we went on with my appointment. Ok so now we’re at the third appointment. I am about 15-20 minutes early but they called me in right away. I don’t think I even sat down. Great right.? Well the nurse was fabulous, she was just a all around wonderful person! I enjoyed her company and she made me feel very welcome! Ok so I’m waiting to see the doctor. An hour goes by and I ask one of the nurses if I could reschedule because I need to go get my child from school. Wasn’t expecting my appointment to go that long. The Dr. Sees me and is very apologetic and asked me if there was anything urgent I needed to speak with him about and I said no I can just wait for the next visit, which I will make sure I have plenty of time to spare at this next one knowing the wait I will have to wait. I head towards the front desk and the receptionist then tells me that if I re schedule now this will be my only reschedule allowed. They only allow one for your entire time that your under that doctors care to reschedule. Meaning this was my one. Why am I being punished for the doctor running behind schedule? I showed up, I was there, and I waited and extremely long time just to be told that. I’m not Ok with that. I love my doctor. my doctor is great at what he does, very thorough. But that just doesn’t set well with me. Other than that phiasco I would totally recommend my family and friends to this doctor.

  I have to say I was not thrilled about seeing a new endocrinologist via telemed! I have been so impressed with my Dr. She makes you feel like part of the team and took a step of tapering me off steroids after I’ve been on them for 7 years. So far I have felt great and my labs are headed in the right way with my first taper.Dr Argwahl is a great addition to my team of doctors.

  Everytime my child gets comfortable with a therapist they leave, or their contract doesn’t get renewed. Very disappointing. Last therapist only lasted less than a year.

  If I could give a 10 star rating I would! I decided on a Sunday to come to Prestige because I had heard such wonderful things, in all transparency I have full medical coverage but did not want to wait at the ER for hours so thought I would give this place a try – I am SO glad that I did! So affordable and within 2 hours I had had a chest x-ray and received treatment. They sent in my prescription and I was on my way – So worth every penny! This next part is the absolute most amazing to me – 2 days later I received a FOLLOW UP CALL from -THE DOCTOR! What?!?! when does that happen???? She realized I was not feelin better yet and called in another prescription for me – I didn’t have to pay to come back in or for that service. This is how it should work! So impressed – thank you for reminding me that people do remember how to take good care of one another!

  The staff was amazing and the physician assistant was even more amazing. I will be signing up for their membership option. They are amazingly kind and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciated the staff upfront being very forthcoming about the cost and giving me the needed documentation to get reimbursed from my private insurance. Even with having private insurance, I will be signing up for their membership, it is so worth it and the cost is not bad at all. When arriving home, I realized they forgot to charge me for my anti inflammatory injection which I will be giving them a call to pay for this. Love, love this place.

  Never thought I’d see something so unprofessional in a medical setting. I gave a family member a ride here that was having chest pains. I had urged them to go to an ER as these places are usually a waste of time. Anyway we signed in and waited almost an hour as people coming in after us kept being seen. At one point I see the girls behind the counter staring and pulling the doctor aside whispering something. It reminded me of two catty people gossiping about someone right in front of them, they kept looking at my family member and I thought are they serious? Finally after almost an hour of this person having chest pains we get called back. Right away the “doctor” tells my family member they have been banned apparently for cancelling a prior membership. I was ready to call some people out, but instead I got up to quickly leave as this person needed actual medical attention. I was appalled that number 1 after hearing someone had chest pains you would not just direct them to the ER. Was making a quick buck more important? Number 2 that you would have them wait almost an hour then trick them into going in a room with a male employee to “let them have it”. I felt like this was some shady gotcha moment. I could not believe this was happening while someone was having a serious medical issue. I have never been to this place, but after witnessing this I am appalled and will never take my family or children here or recommend it. Do better! You are a medical establishment, in a position of authority!!! This place could be a huge asset to the community, but instead it appears that you have some very unprofessional front counter people and “doctor” that act like high school kids gossiping about patients. And let me tell you ladies at the front you have nothing to feel superior about by the looks of it. Still wondering how you represent a medical establishment looking that unhealthy.
