a week agoI had the worst experience in this ER over Labor day weekend. I went in with a horrible hip pain, could barley move, had been to 2 Urgent care priors in the period of 2 weeks. By the time I decided to go to the ER I was getting worst by the minute. Dr Fowler was not only arrogant but I was never taken to a private room. He kept talking about his own issues and his mothers and that they had to deal with them on their own. I was never asked to go to a private area, nor was performed a physical. He sat down in the waiting area and talked to me in front of every one while I was crying in pain. He told me he can only help people with heart issues or broken bones. I told him I needed an MRI and he told me they did not have any techs available; mind you that this is the ER at the hospital. After hearing that he can not do anything from me I asked to escalate or for a patient advocacy person and he said there was non over the weekend to help me. I have been trying to reach out to the COO of St Francis to share my experience but have been unsuccessfula month agoIt’s big, good parking lot. Quiet environment and staff are very nicea year agoI just spent 4 days at this hospital in the ICU in an emergency situation, and I can’t understand all the bad reviews. This was one of THE best hospital experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in the door in the ER, to the moment my nurse walked me out to my car today…. I received top notch care from every single person whom I came into contact with.They were professional, kind and thorough in figuring out how to help me. Every person spent ample time talking to me and helping me understand what the next step in my care was. Talking to me to help me be more comfortable with every stick of the needle into my skin, there were more than 50 because that’s how many tests it took to resolve my health issue.
The nurses, especially Nadia and Olga were outstanding. Professionals who are that busy, but still make one feel like you’re the only patient they have are rare. Doctors who spend more than the customary 47 seconds to deliver their generic news, also rare. I saw several doctors during my stay and they all spent ample time explaining their findings, getting input from me on what we will be doing next and helping me understand every step. Even the pharmacist spent about 25 minutes making sure I understood the medicine I was taking home, brought a demo to make sure I learned how to use it properly and answered all of my questions about the drug.
I hope to never have to go to the hospital again, but if I do I WILL BE GOING TO ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL in Federal Way. They’ve earned my loyalty for life.
a month agoIf 0 star were an option that would be my suggestion. My twins were born here 6 months ago and St. Francis and their parent company CHI have still not billed our insurance. I have spent 20+ hours on the phone with their new 3rd party billing company with no resolution. Repeatedly told the issue has been resolved with no luck. Sat on hold for almost 2 hours waiting to speak with a manager or supervisor but one is never available. Get promised to have a call returned by one, yet I am still waiting. The employees at the hospital say they have no way to help and hear nothing but complaints about the new outsourced billing. They have now denied any financial aid until insurance issues are resolved. Since billing and financial aid are not the same company they also claim their hands are tied. Save yourself the potential nightmare of an already stressful time and find a different hospital that does not fall under the Catholic Health Initiative name.2 months agoMy care was rushed and Dr totally forgot about me he said. He did not go over results and never gave me the paperwork in needed for work. I was being discharged before he even came back to talk to me. The RN was confused as to why I had not seen the Dr yet. I was very sick and blood pressure was extremely high and I was dizzy… and when he did come he said just said monitor it from home. I felt so hopeless.

3 weeks agoIndigo urgent care was fantastic! It was extremely easy to set up an appointment for my son. When we got there, everyone we talked to and interacted with was professional and very kind and so sweet with my son ? the nurse that first brought us into the room offered us something to drink and brought snacks for my son which he loved! The doctor was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this place and if I ever needed to go to urgent care again I would absolutely come here. Thank you for such great service!5 months agoIf your feeling poor, sick this place is the best in federal way, wa to go to. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They actually care about your health. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d go to 100. That’s how much they affected me all in good ways3 months agoI am a fan of this Urgent Care in general, very friendly staff, comfortable waiting area, and they offer drinks while you wait. The clinic is clean and modern, definitely the nicest one in Federal Way. Unfortunately, like most other urgent cares, the wait time is insane. They have both appointments and walk ins which serves to bog down and defeat the purpose in my opinion. Those unlucky enough to not get an appointment in advance (because it was urgent) and have to walk in, wind up waiting at least three hours even if they come in early in the morning. Also, they give each person on the wait list at least 15 minutes to get back to the clinic when it’s their turn. Sounds nice, but if everyone leaves and takes 15 minutes or more to get back, the line takes that much longer. I think they should do away with the appointments and just do walk ins. Also give less time for folks to return. Even cutting it down to 10 minutes per person would be better. All my opinion of course. All that being said, when they actually got us back, my son was seen right away and given the meds he so badly needed. I would come back again as long as the wait time isn’t longer then other urgent cares, or if I am able to make an appointment in advance.2 months agoThis is a great place! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and the overall visit went very smooth. I would recommend this place because of a really amazing nurse practitioner, Tam Pham. She went above and beyond to address my needs, and took into consideration my past experiences with similar issues as well. The only thing I would do differently is schedule and appointments in advance because the wait was a few hours.a month agoThey were caring and compassionate. Very professional and patient. The staff were professional and took their job seriously, but they never lost that human touch that so many do. The rooms were clean and orderly. I would highly recommend this location.

2 months agoI needed a DOT physical ASAP and this was one of the few places in the area that accepted walk-ins and would be able to see me. It has a great location that is easily accessible, with many types of different businesses surrounding, in case you have to wait for your appointment because after you check in and if there’s a wait time, they have your phone number and will give you a call. I was pleasantly surprised with the courteous behavior and professionalism that was given to me. This is a great group of people and I’m so glad that I lucked out and found them. Thank you for the speedy and great service!3 months agoFor the purpose of what took me there, I was treated well and I did not waiting for long. However the lady at the front desk , need to be patient… she is too fast in her talking and she catches feelings when one misses her words. She need to know we are not all Americans and her accent is strange to others and so is my accent to her. The next person was excellent in her service delivery.3 weeks agoIf it wasn’t for the health technician and the doctor. I wouldn’t give them any stars. The receptionist was not only rude, but she didn’t know what she was talking about. She told me that if I used the restroom when I got there, I would have to come back and do the screening again, two hours later. Not true, I could’ve done that part, right then and there and waited the two hours for the physical. She better hope I don’t get an UTI.a month agoVery understanding, helpful and grateful!!
