2 months agoThis was my 4th visit to this urgent care and every visit is so well coordinated and care excellent. This visit was for kidney stone and Dr Speck and the entire care team were on point getting me taken care of. From the time you enter the door, you know you’re going to be taken care of. Before paper work is done, you are seeing physician, getting relief and treatment is actively in motion. They attend to your family to alleviate their concerns as well. It’s total care. I can’t say enough positive and have absolutely nothing negative I could add.2 months agoI got injured at work and had no insurance, they took me right in and the help I received was awesome. Great doctors, great staff and unlike ever other clinic they were upfront on their prices. I left knowing I wasn’t getting gouged with hospital prices which is how it should be.I highly recommend going here!!!
2 months agoBest ER experience I’ve ever had. Treated me immediately, listened to my issues, checked on me as a persons because I was upset from the pain and being turned away by other clinics and one called the police on me. Concho Valley was compassionate from the front desk to the tech to the nurse to the doc. I’ve never been somewhere where EVERY employee was this good.Visited on 7/6/23. Big kudos!
2 months agoCaught the Delta strain of COVID and my doctor was out of town. In the middle of the night I couldn’t sleep and had a pulse ox percentage of 87%. My husband called my doctor and he told me to go to the nearest ER immediately.This place was the nearest ER. My mom drove me because my husband also had COVID. I had to stop in the parking lot several times to catch my breath. I was scared I was going to pass out and crack my head open on the pavement.
My mother told the receptionist that we needed help, I had COVID, and that my doctor told me to come in because of my oxygen levels. The receptionist asked if we had insurance. I said no but explained that I contribute to a healthshare program that covers 100% of hospitalization costs. Even before I finished speaking the receptionist was shaking her head.
She said that they don’t see people who don’t have health insurance. My mom and I were stunned and asked why not. A doctor came into the booth area behind the receptionist and confirmed what she was saying. I tried to explain again that my healthshare program pays my hospital bills. They both told us that they weren’t able to see me and said to go to a different hospital.
We drove to the former Community/new Shannon hospital on Knickerbocker, where they took care of me. I was in the hospital, on oxygen, for 5 days. Then I went home with an oxygen tank to use 24/7 for another 6 weeks.
2 weeks agoI can not say enough good things about every one in this facility that treated me today! From the front desk to Dr. Speck and everyone in the back _ X Ray and all. Professional, all of these wonderful ppl made me feel comfortable and have awesome attitudes! If you have to have a E.R. visit I would recommend Concho Valley E.R everytime!! Thanks Yall!!!

4 years agoWonderful service! We brought our outdoor cat in because he seemed seriously injured, perhaps after a sort of scuffle with an unknown animal… We live in a rural area so it could have been almost anything.I was feeling like a horrible pet owner. Our cat was muddy and in obvious pain. I thought they were going to treat us poorly because we shouldn’t have “let” this happen, but they were very professional and nice to us.
Years ago, a dog of ours was tragically hit by a car (and passed away later that night). We brought her to that same place and I got the distinct feeling the lady there thought it was our fault. She may not have… I can’t read minds, but her bedside manner was cold and she seemed mad.
The staff we met last night, however, didn’t seem judgy in the least. All three had wonderful bedside manner and cared, greatly, for our Shy Guy. We left him overnight with them.
When I called this morning, a whole new set of staff from the night before (I’m guessing) addressed us. They were just as sweet and caring regarding our cat.
These guys are GREAT if your pet needs emergency care in the middle of the night… Or anytime, for that matter.
4 years agoI had to take my cat here because he was having some serious issues relating to an ear polyp. Unfortunately this place is 100 miles (one-way) from the house, but it was worth the trip. The staff immediately took him in and examined my cat. They kept me informed of what needed to be done and gave me a treatment plan along with medication. I’m happy to say that the initial medication they gave him in the office worked well and there’s already a marked improvement for my cat. I will have to follow-up with a surgeon, but at least my boy won’t suffer until he gets the polyp removed. Side note: I’ve gone to several emergency vets over the years in various locations, and this one not only provided excellent care, the cost (compared to most places) was/is extremely reasonable. I would absolutely travel the 100 miles again to this place if I had to.2 years agoThank you for pulling the nail out of my blue heelers foot. The staff were amazing! Thank you Thank you!3 years agoDisappointed that I was charged 103 dollars to put down a dying stray cat I found in my back yard, I thought if I had the compassion to load the cat up and bring it across town they would have the compassion to do what must be done. I really thought a veterinarian hospital would care more about the suffering of an animal. I paid because I do care.2 years agoSuch sweet staff, got me in and out in less than an hour and got my dog back to feeling much better! Thank you all so much!
