  Great Service, friendly nurses and Docs. They were very knowledgeable and very kind. Empathy and kindness are 2 qualities that a lot of health care providers seem to struggle with. I’m my experience anyway. So I really valued the interactions I had with both Dr. Julie Chaney and the wonderful nurse. Whose name I sadly forgot. Not only was my first experience there great, I had a different doctor follow up with me today as I had some blood work done the day before. They actually REMEMBERED to check in on my case. Follow through. Today Dr. Joe (didn’t get his last name) has been helping me work through my situation all day. I’m so impressed and beyond thankful! You guys rock! Thank you so much.

  All of the staff were courteous and caring. I also appreciated not having to wait long even though I was a walk-in patient. The PA I saw took the time to talk through different treatment options with me, and he also took the time to make sure that I was not having neurological symptoms. The treatment I got for my migraine was effective and enabled me to enjoy the rest of my short visit in Bend.

  The reason I went, is I have usually been able to get a common medication (antiobiotic) on the spot. I was told the medication was ordered 2 weeks ago, but still has not been received yet. Very disappointing as I the had to go to a pharmacy and wait while in pain.

  The woman who greeted us, while I believe was in training (no shade on learning a new job) but did not smile, welcome me or acknowledge my pain. She proceeded to tell me, “she just got into work” and was “getting over a cold” and she was not wearing a mask. Kind of off-putting to say the least.

  Joe, the PA (I believe those are his creditentials) that saw me was great, efficient, personable and diagnosed my issue immediately. I appreciated his style and friendliness.

  Overall, I think the staff could improve greatly by being more warm and compassionate (people usually show up in some pain) and make eye contact and smile a little. Customers want to feel comforted in a upsetting situation.

  I arrived with two issues – I had injured my leg on a pipe and needed a tetanus shot and also was going through some digestive issues. The nurse did a thorough job of recording history, pharmaceuticals and checking vitals and administering the tetanus shot. The PA was clear, concise and complete in diagnosing and giving me directions for both issues. Most importantly, he made sure I understood the steps. 1st rate care.

  Hands down the best experience you can have with your visit to a doctors office. From the front desk to the back office the friendly staff will welcome you with their kind and friendly attitude towards your health care and your care needs. The team is working together to help you get through this process quickly as possible with your own personal needs and questions answered in a way you can understand. Taking the time that is needed to help you understand what you’re doing through and how you are going to get better. The PA that helped me was simply put extremely knowledgeable about what we were up against and was able to help me with everything that we needed. His staff was just as nice and knowledgeable about what he needed done. They took very good care of me.

  Thank goodness for them.

  Scheduled an appointment to consult a neurologist, waited a couple months before they cancelled my appointment. No big deal. Rescheduled for another time a few months later. This one was also cancelled, and so was the next one after that. Very frustrating, but things happen. Schedule another for three months later, the date comes up and they haven’t cancelled, fantastic! I arrive to check in and am informed that I have no appointment, I wasn’t put on the schedule. Highly unprofessional and a massive waste of time. I will not be returning to summit neurology.

  I was very happy with the care that I received at Summit Health East Urgent Care. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was seen within minutes of arriving and was treated, had an X-ray, and released within about 60-90 minutes. A very low stress environment.

  Even after good faith efforts to show up on time for an appointment with a specilist, I arrived and checked in upon which I was told I had to reschedule my visit due to being late. I understand that a providers time is valuable and many patients ghost appointments. That is not my standard for sure. My time is valuable too. This being the first time with a late arrival, (I drive from Redmond 15 miles away and left 45 minutes before my appointed time) There is no way to avoid summer road construction at multiple routes leading to their location and no way I can control backed up traffic times. I complied and rescheduled my appointment to find their blanket “NO SHOW” letter in my chart. You got that wrong Summit Health, I DID Show and you turned me away. There is no “Care” in healthcare any more. and we are stuck with no other options besides St. Charles or Summit in central Oregon. In addition, there is not an option to see a specialist closer to home because they are all clumped in groups in Bend. The worst experience I have ever had with Summit Health Eastside.

  Everything about my experience at High Lakes Urgent Care was excellent! I was able to get an appointment exactly when I wanted one, the receptionist was extremely efficient and kind, the facility was scrupulously clean, and the provider (Ashley) was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. Although I was somewhat unsure whether I was “sick enough“ to need the care, she assured me that I very much was, then prescribed what I recognized as a significant antibiotic for my secondary bacterial respiratory infection. Once I started taking the medication, I felt better within hours. This is really the best of what urgent care can be… Superlative service in an urgent situation far from home!

  Everyone takes the time necessary to make you feel comfortable, whether that be Melis on reception or one of the excellent doctors. I’ve been here a couple of times now and never felt rushed, always had the right level of explanation behind the administered care and have left feeling confident in the outcome. Unfortunately this isn’t always the case at other facilities, but in my experience it consistently has been here.

  This is what you hope for from the American health care system. I went in worried about pneumonia. The entire staff, including the Receptionist, were kind and compassionate. They took their time with me. They examined me thoroughly and were able to have me get a chest X-ray and had it interpreted immediately by a Radiologist on site. They put together the right course of treatment. One week later I came for my re-check and received the same kindness, compassion, and thorough care from everyone with whom I interacted. They are fantastic.

  This clinic is calm, efficient, and responsive We made an online appointment last night for 10:00 am today for my daughter. From the front desk through each medical staff member, we were seen and heard. This is one of the best experiences I’ve had in medicine. Dr.Ashley Lane asked key questions, listened intently to the answers, and asked insightful follow-ups. She was kind, supportive, and supremely competent. Thank you!
