a month agoPositive first impression. The intake staff was very professional, patient, and assisted/answered all my questions. The PA who diagnosed my illness was a “Bright Light” with her contagious smile and confidence in her medical knowledge/abilities. She made me feel comfortable/safe and displayed sincerity.a month agorespond quickly. low waiting time. service is overall good. My one star is for the bad payment experience. They ask you to pay upfront before you leave the clinic without being able to show you the itemized bill. My husband (the patient) has insurance. I asked them the cost per item, and the staff said “we won’t be able to provide it now”. I asked them to send the bill to my address after they claim through insurance, and they refused to do so. You need to pay whatever they charge you without knowing any details..Today I received the insurance EOB and it shows the total bill is around $500, the insurance discount is about $250, and insurance company paid the remaining $250. It also indicates that “your responsibility is 0”! However, I’m confused that we paid $350 already before leaving the clinic. It feel like they are double collecting money from patient and the insurance company…Anyway, I will go to the clinic again asking for explanations about the bill.4 months agoI HIGHLY recommend this Urgent Care!!! Very very polite and friendly staff. PA that attended to me was extremely helpful and willing to explain to me what was going to be done and why. She was very down to Earth and made me feel super comfortable. X-ray was super helpful and patient. They were very quick on attending to me. I got there at 5:56pm and was seen, got my x-rays done and read by PA and out by 7:05pm…. AWESOME JOB!!!3 weeks agoAs a returning CareNow patient THIS location was by far the best I’ve visited. I was carefully and properly cared for as a pregnant woman (not many would have even seen me for being pregnant). I was checked throughly for my symptoms from the start of having my vitals checked to the very end of the doctors visit. ?2 years agoThis is the best CareNow I have ever been to. The staff were all super friendly, engaging, and had great bedside manner. The COVID test was not painful due to the care they took during administration. The physician was efficient, the office was clean, and the visit could not have gone smoother. I recommend this location 100%! ???

a month agoFront staff was very respectful. The nurses in the front checking my daughters weight and blood pressure were also very patient and nice. We came in about 8:30pm 8/7/22 because my daughter had been complaining of abdominal pain for the past few days. Dr. Valmont reassured us that there were no concerning signs after checking blood samples, an x-ray, and urine sample. I was relived to hear the good news because we were worried it could have been something worse. RN Rina was an angel and kept my daughter calm during the blood sample draw and all the medication administrations. I wanted to thank the kind staff for making us feel safe and worry free the entire time we were there! Highly recommenda month agoOur nurse Joseph did amazing was very attentive with all our needs. We had initially met him a week before because my son broke his foot and Joseph was the one who splintered him. He did a great job then, and then did a great job today as well. Dr Valmont was extremely gentle and sweet with my 5 year old son listened to all my concerns. Gabby in registration had was quick and extremely caring.3 weeks agoThank you to Dr. Whetstone and staff. From receptionist Monica who did triage and vitals. Great customer service attended me right away. RN Miranda and Valeria sweet kind caring, would check up on me frequently love that they introduce themselves and made small talk with me. Satisfied with my car here. Thank you once again2 months agoGreat experience with all the staff from the moment me and my mom walked in, the nurse in the front desk that attended us was very nice, and attentive. Once inside the room all the nurses that came, from the one doing the IV, to the radiologist Roy, provided such great service, very kind and understanding to the situation. Overall the service provided was great! I would definitely recommend anyone to come here for any emergencies, the care they provide, and kindness was Great, as well as the services and communication all of it was great!in the last weekI have never left a review but this place is awful! If you truly care about your loved ones or yourselves DO NOT GO HERE!! The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional including the Dr! The wait times are ridiculous and they do not have any bedside manners. This is NOT what a place caring the South Texas Health Care system logo should portray. Shame on you all! I understand you feel overworked but it’s is not our fault as patients.

in the last weekHonestly I had a very good experience at this location. Liz was my nurse today and she really made sure I was comfortable. The doctor was very informative and to be frank I will drive the extra 20 minutes to come to this location than the one closer to my house.a week agoSouth Texas Health System, McColl, is staffed with caring and professional health care workers. Doctors, nurses, med techs and registration agents set a very high standard of healthcare. I have been seen at this location over five times and the level of care has always been top notch. This particular visit I left my urologists’ emergency room because I was treated like cattle. I highly recommend this facility for anyone experiencing urgent care needs! They set the bar extremely high for urgent care!in the last weekNurse Pam and Dr. Rochelin and the whole staff who treated me make a great team. As soon as I was seen I was treated with care. Nurse Pam has great bedside manners, she took the time to listen and answer all my questions to the best of her ability. Dr. Rochelin made sure all of my concerns were address and that the appropriate labs and medical attention were perform. I would definitely recommend this facility for urgent care.a week agoDr Greene and Nurse Joyce were amazing.. I came in feeling horrible after 19 days of being sick and took time and patience to give me my diagnosis and help me feel better. They have a great team and great clean and efficient facility….a month agoI came in to get a cyst drainage, and let me just say, the whole experience was GREAT. Big thanks to the doctor for making it fast & easy. A bigger thanks to the lovely nurses Liz & Brianna for helping me and making sure that i was comfortable throughout the process. I can’t thank them enough for how well they did but i hope that the hospital can acknowledge their efforts. Thank you nurses!
