6 months agoWalk-ins welcome is not true. Walked in just before 6pm when they supposedly close at 7pm and the receptionist said they weren’t taking any more walk-ins for the day. With zero amount of sympathy, she said our only option was to go to the ER. Shouldn’t an urgent care clinic accept walk-ins up until they close? Otherwise you should just say BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Thanks so much9 months agoThe first time I came in for a cold/flu symptoms, the appointment was so rushed with the PA, Valerie, that I noticed after the appointment she did not check my ears- that is part of a routine examination and she completely missed that. That is something that she should have even paid closer attention to as the ears are a part of the sinuses. Fast forward and I’ve now developed a painful earache in both ears and I believe my eardrum is ruptured as there is fluid draining from it. I came for my scheduled appointment today to address this, and the doors were locked and the clinic closed due to a staffing shortage. I was not notified at all.Update: I got an appointment the next day and was seen by a different GP, Kim. She was much kinder and attentive to my needs, and made sure she was thorough in my examination. She X-Ray tech was also incredibly kind too. Overall, I’m happy with the care I received, but it’s disappointing that the community cannot get the care they need when they’re understaffed. Northbay needs to pay more and give more benefits to these healthcare professionals if they want to keep their clientele.
8 months agoOf all the bad luck, I got the pink eye (bacterial conjunctivitis) two days prior to New Year’s Day! I waited 48 hours to make sure if the symptoms would subside on their own. Nope. All in all, this was my Day 7 of the common cold with “The Works” of symptoms experiencing.Lo and behold—I think NorthBay should highlight and make known the availabilities of their after-hours Urgent Care Centers.
Continuing with my bad luck: around midday on January 1, 2023, the pinkeye symptoms are really pronounced and it was starting to bother me. Redness and protein discharges in my left eye. I managed to use warm compress to wash away the stickiness around my eyelids.
I got the same-day appointment at 5:10 PM and head out early to check in and fill out any paperworks.
The staff helming the front desk were polite and respectful and I was eternally grateful for them that day.
I would like to specifically mention Mr. Gabriel Aguiar, PA saw me and explained the differences between bacterial and viral conjunctivitis. He was extremely helpful and patient with me as my voice was none-existent due my coughing. Keep in mind: January 1, 2023 was my Day 7 of forceful coughing and sore throat. Gabriel prescribed me antibiotic eye drops and benzonatate tablets to help with my cough. Since the cough is due to viral, no amounts of antibiotics will help.
Just like things in life, your experiences and results will vary than mine. I had nothing but positive gratitude and appreciation towards NorthBay Urgent Care Vacaville and their staff.
The Vacaville location have walk-ins. Don’t forget to call ahead and check the walk-in line just to be safe. Otherwise, use their online appointment booking system via their CarbonHealth platform to see if any same-day appointments are available.
Check that your ailment and reason for visit is clearly listed, e.g. pink eye (conjunctivitis) and/or coughs due to the common cold.

a month agoExcellent in everyway! The office is very clean and up to date with what appeared to be new equipment, paint, chairs, etc. The staff was quick to greet me and send me into a room. The Doctor/nurse was friendly, fun and obviously intelligent and knowledgeable of her expertise. Would recommend without hesitation.a month agoThis visit was the best experience I’ve ever had. There were 2 PA’s that were in the room for my issue. I loved how they collaborated together on the treatment plan. They included me in that conversation. The NP was personable and quick acting to solve my issue. This was better than waiting at Fairfield’s Urgent Care. I would definitely use this service again if I can’t get into my doctor’s office.2 months agoWhen I went to the front desk, receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The Nurse practitioner was excellent. She was very friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. Felt at ease immediately. Will definitely recommend Sutter walk in care to others.a month agoThis sutter walk in facility was super clean, quiet, and calming. The staff was really nice as well. They got me in and got me out super quick. Over all a really great visit at a wonderful facility.

4 months agoGreat Dental office! Everyone is amazing, courteous, professional, and genuine. Going to the dentist makes me nervous but everyone there made me feel comfortable and welcomed! The dental hygienist, Nicole is absolutely amazing! She walked me through the whole process and informed me about the state of my dental health without making me feel judged. She was honest and encouraging. The dentist is also very nice and professional, she even invited me to shadow in the office since I’m also pursuing a career in the dental field. They all made me feel cared for. From someone who has had bad experiences at dental offices and doing my best to avoid going, I have to say I am now looking forward to going to my appointments because of the lovely group there! The office is clean and inviting. I wish I could give more stars, I highly recommend to everyone!a month agoThe best place in town for your dental care. She pulled a very big tooth and drained an abscess next to where the pulled tooth was located. This included her working on a bone where the abscess was. With all that I had done from the shots, pulling of the tooth , working on the bone, all were done with no pain. I’m 77 and have gone to a dentist regularly over all those years and I can state without hesitation she and her entire staff are the best. Everything from the girls at the front desk, to the dental assistants and of course the doctor. Even other assistants and dentists that were not directly involved with my procedure were equally pleasant and courteous to interact with. Everyone was so helpful, kind and informative.
