a week ago10 – Claire was VERY efficient and BRAVE re: my poss. Issue! Also did a great job COMMUNICATING TO ME as to WHY she proceeded with a specific prescription! COMMUNICATION IS THE ONE THING #2 medical facility in town just CANNOT seem to do & has TOTALLY FAILED at in my experience. Claire at CompCare- Rochester, AS WELL AS Dawn at the Front Desk, made me feel Welcome and both LISTENED to me which resulted in both of them doing what they are paid to do – HELP THE PATIENT Efficiently and with Compassion ! Much Appreciate Ladies! ☺️a month agoThe provider and nurse did a good job. The receptionist had a lot of issues with my insurance card. I gave pictures before I got there. I gave her the physical card when there and she made copies. Once I left she needed me to send more pictures of the card. She said my insurance showed up was Med Cali even though it is private insurance through an employer. I honestly don’t think they ever figured it out. Then I noticed the tetanus shot I received there was never reported to the state. So, I have no record of actually receiving it. It seems like it’d be a pretty big deal to not report vaccines given.2 months agoAbsolute worst experience in a clinic I’ve ever experienced. Never ever use this clinic for anything! I brought my daughter in for a pre-employment tb test and everything that happened was an absolute disaster. The girl doing the blood draw took us to a room. She left because her blood draw kit was missing something and it took her about 10 minutes to come back. She left for a question. That took about 10 minutes more. She couldn’t find a vein, finally found something and then moved the needle around several times only to declare she couldn’t get any blood. She took another 10 minutes to go fetch some water because she blamed it on my daughter being dehydrated. (She wasn’t). She then tried a different location and got some. I asked her if they had enough. She went and asked someone and 10 minutes later came back and said it should be fine. All in all, we were there for over an hour and my daughter left light-headed and with a serious bruise on her arm with NUMEROUS pokes. I thought it was all over. But, it was only beginning. I get a call the next day that they did not have enough and we had to come in again. I requested a different person to do the draw and thought everything would be fine. Fast forward to a week later and they call and tell me they have the results but don’t know where to send it. Apparently they misplaced all the forms we bought in. They found them and said they would send immediately. Fast forward to another week later and I find out my daughter’s employer STILL does not have the test results. I was assured it was handled today. So thank you CompCare for screwing up my daughter’s first job. I really appreciate it. And the best part, any contact information for anyone in a supervisory position over there is under lock & key. So, hopefully they check their Google reviews.3 months agoI went in for a TB test for a job and they did the worst blood draw I’ve ever had. The “nurse” who drew my blood had difficulties finding a vein and thought it was a good idea to wiggle the needle around while it was still inside my arm. She never found my vein. I told her that it hurt and I was starting to feel light headed. She did the exact opposite of what you’re supposed to do. She left the room to go get help, instead of calling for help. Also, there were droplets of blood still on the floor from a previous patient. I will never cross their threshold again. Hands down the absolute worst health care I’ve ever received.3 months agoWell, I wish I would have read the reviews before going to this place. Just look at the reviews, this companies billing department is absolutely ridiculous! As stated in other reviews, the phone number does not match the voicemail number, they don’t return your call when you are able to get through and leave a voicemail. Constantly get txt messages that my payment needs to be made when they have had my card information for months, have only taken 2 payments from me when it should have been at least 4, they txt back days later saying they have updated my account info, when obviously not cause I get a txt the next month w/the same thing. NOW, they threatened me with a collections if I don’t pay. I will say, the clinic I went to, the staff, nurses and doctor were great, this has nothing at all to do with them. It’s Comp Care itself that really needs to get their end straightened out, especially the billing department and phone system. Horrible! I would hate to say don’t go there for the staff side because they are doing their jobs correctly, but don’t go there because the business itself is not a good one. If it’s not an emergency, and can wait to get into another clinic, go to a more reputable clinic. Never again with this place for me! If I could post w/out a star I would.

a week agoMy two extended visits both were great experiences. Personal were kind, helpful and pleasant. Each procedure was explained thoroughly. From the AirB&B I stayed with, to the local restaurants, everyone I had contact with was amazing.3 weeks agoI wish that I would have read the reviews before driving five hours in hopes of getting help with this debilitating pain and life threatening health issue. A doctor in Omaha hurt and nearly killed me and now noone wants to get involved in her surgical error. We waited in the ER for almost twelve hours to be treated rudely by staff and dismissed with a small dose of antibiotics. The doctor who finally came in after almost ten hours for all of one minute said that I needed a dual surgery to fix what the doctor in Omaha did to me and made it seem like we could get in on his referral. After coming home and doing an hour long intake questionnaire over the phone they called an hour later to say that they were “at capacity” and to try back in three months. When my primary sent a referral we were told you could only try to get in once a year. I’m sure if I had top tier insurance or it didn’t involve another doctor’s surgical error then they’d help me. How is this establishment still considered #1 in the nation for Healthcare? Prepare to be let down.3 weeks agoER visit. Did not manage my pain. Too long of a wait to be seen. Looked like blood draws were in ER common area. Some of the patients looked like the needed to be in a room.a month agoI went with my older brother who had surgery from his spinal disc, and they made us wait about 7 hours from an MRI scan that is obviously ridiculous. They took more than 46 mins just for the pharmacy to allow access for the nurse to be given my brother Tylenol while in pain for 7 hours straight from sitting with major back painin the last week*EDIT* I had abdominal bleeding and severe complications. I needed to be seen immediately (even my doctor said so). This place has absolutely no compassion or health knowledge. LONG WAIT TIME! Do not go here if you have an actual emergency, wait time was averaged between 6-8 HOURS. YES, HOURS! I was sitting in the waiting room in excruciating abdominal pain for hours. All I was told is “there’s a line of people in front of you, you have to wait.”. People come in here for a damn sniffle or sprained wrist. This is an EMERGENCY ROOM, not an urgent care.

3 months agoOMC is wonderful!!! ❤️Took my little one into the ER at 4am with a very high fever. Within 1hr 25m we were in, diagnosed w/ ear infection, and supplied w/ a partial prescription of antibiotics! He had his first dose before even leaving the ER. I can’t say enough about the compassionate care we received at OMC ❤️?3 weeks agoThere was absolutely no wait to be seen in ER. Fast wonderful service. Staff seemed very happy in thei job. Very professional experience with this hospital7 months agoHit or miss. I had a great experience with an ER doctor stacy something who was wonderful. Caring gentle easy to talk to and very competent. My wife was there the next week with virtually the same type of injury and it was a nightmare with a different older er doctor. They yelled at her for shaking in their cat scan because she was in shock as if she was purposely shaking. They refused to give her pain meds though they gave me some the week before for again virtually the same injury. I guess go and cross your fingers that you get one of the good doctors. Or wait at saint mary.2 months agoReally this place has been truly the best ER I’ve ever been to. From the quickest and most wonderfully patient docs I’ve ever met, OMC is such a great place for quick care.5 months agoAmazing care!! They treat you with respect and dignity. I actually feel valued as a person. At Olmsted Medical Center, the needs of the patient truly do come first.
