2 months agoI was there for a drug screening that was required for employment.The lovely ladies at the front desk, of a certain ethnic background which I shall not name, were slightly cordial at best. Maybe it was “just one of those days” or something. But there seemed to be a small issue with another person that was attempting to get some work done. Unfortunately that person caused a scene.
I personally don’t expect for everyone to speak the Queen’s English and display the highest level of etiquette. I’m perfectly fine with a casual business environment. However, Concentra is providing a clinical service by collecting urine samples and testing for controlled substances. And because of that, I expect a certain level of professionalism. Luckily, the young gentleman who took my urine sample was extremely pleasant and he greatly exceeded the basic proficiencies of his job. He was the best.
in the last weekI had to come here for a pre-employment drug screening, as well as to get a few vaccines, which I didn’t know about until I got there. The staff at the front desk were perfectly nice and attentive, and the wait is what you’d expect at any urgent care (about 45 mins for me). The woman who administered my vaccines was very skilled and I hardly felt the needles at all (and I hate needles). My only complaint is how long it took for another woman to draw my blood. And while she drew it, she said “oops, looks like the vein burst.” I’ve had my blood drawn several times before and never had a vein burst. So now I’m left feeling quite sore around that area when normally I wouldn’t feel much of anything. But otherwise I had a fine experience here.2 months agoI was there on Thursday, July 6th in the mid afternoon. May I add this place was busy, the waiting room was basically full. The staff was pleasant and answered all of my questions and they were hustling to get people in and out. I had a great experience there and will recommend them to anyone in need of their services. Thank you Ari for keeping me posted on my test results and being so kind and patient!a month agoI have received good care from this business. But was a little disappointed this last time I was there 7-31-2023. After I got my cortisone shot in my shoulder he released me instead of physical therapy to strengthen it. It still sore and achy. I think I would have like physical therapy but the care has been good and the staff is polite and helpful3 months agoI came in with some deep wounds on my arm and hand from wiping out on some rough asphalt. The front staff at Concentra Ann Arbor were very friendly and I was seen quickly. PA Kathryn McDonald really took the time to clean up my cuts to make sure they heal quickly and properly. Assistant Mickey did a fantastic job getting me settled in and bandaging my arm and hands. It’s been a few days since I went in and I am healing nicely. Thank you Katie and Mickey!

a week agoGreat quick service. I waited 15-30 min. With how many were in front of me I felt that was fair. They do first come first serve even if you have an appointment.3 months agoWent here for my son’s sore throat. Check in was easy and straight forward, download the app and do it ahead of time. There little wait time when we went, less wait time than I am used to. The front desk was very helpful and clear with instructions as well. Very clean place, the nurse was gentle with my 8 yo son and very understanding. Dr was great and knowledgeable. Will definitely be our urgent care of choice.a week agoWent in after dislocating my shoulder for an X-ray. While they provided the X-ray, I felt dismissed and unheard the whole time. I went to urgent care because that’s what every medical journal urged people to do, and it was a waste of time and copay. When I was able to get into my actual doctor they did confirm it was a dislocation, this doctor here had wanted to write it off and nothing really wrong. The assistant seemed nice and listened to my pain description but overall it wasn’t a great experience. I feel like they’re there to collect a paycheck and that’s it.a week agoKind receptionist, reasonable wait time with no appointment, thorough nurse and doctor. Got negative flu result on the spot, will get a call with PCR result. Doc was encouraging abt making the wedding next week even if I have covid3 months agoSid and Ashley in reception were so amazing. I’m a transgender patient, which can be intimidating for me but they took such great care of me and handled my paperwork with consideration and empathy. Thank you so much! 2 weeks agoPersonally, I have always had a great experience using the Trinity health IHA Urgent Care (I have probably been 3 times). Providers are caring and helpful. My biggest issue surrounds my partner who went there for care. Although he went in for treatment of a cyst, they took his blood pressure and didn’t care to mention that he should be concerned and seek additional help in lowering his surprisingly-high-for-his-age blood pressure. They told him that his blood pressure was fine.a week agoVery convenient, easy to book appointments when emergency comes up.2 months agoI understand that people need to eat lunch. Without eating lunch our society as a whole may die. If you’re close from 1230 to 130 the rest of us should still be able to survive. When I show up at 12:25 I would expect to be seen. Instead read a sign saying we’re close from 12:30 to 1:30. Trying to squeeze in an extra five minutes for lunch? It’s OK if not everybody goes to lunch at the same time. How about half the people go to lunch at 11:30 and the other half go at 12:30. That way you don’t have to be closed for 15% of the day right in the middle of the day. Just a suggestion. But what do I know, I’m not in healthcare administration.2 weeks agoI used the save my spot feature to save my daughter an appointment because she’s not feeling well, we showed early and were called back and treated right away! The medical assistant was very kind and helpful and the provider was extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend dominos farm urgent care!3 months agoThe scheduling process was easy online to get a quick appointment time. Everyone was kind, patient, polite and professional. The care was excellent and fast. I saw both a resident and staff who were both knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this facility and providers.
