2 weeks agoToday my husband and I had the greatest pleasure meeting a wonderful hair stylist. I wish we asked her name, but I forgot. My 8 year old son is non verbal and Autistic and she accepted him for a hair cut without hesitation. We requested that she only use scissors as he does not like clippers and she agreed. She was so calm, sweet and gentle with our son and he sat for a hair cut better than he ever has. Again, she was sweet and kind yet direct when it was appropriate and it was amazing! She is working at the location off of Hillcrest and has her hair dyed red. She was amazing and I am so grateful for her kindness! I hope to see her again and if anyone knows who I am talking about, please let me know. This is the first time he did not cry or scream or become agitated and I believe it was because of caring and calm nature. For parents wiith Autistic children, this a true blessing, and she deserves recognition. ❤️3 months agoGreat place. Friendly staff, came back to cali from Texas on military orders and decided to get a haircut. Once my cut was done I was looking great! Definitely recommend coming here. 2 months agoIt was a pleasant experience. Checked in on the web, walked in, had my haircut and walked back home all in an hour. Bienka was pleasant, efficient and gave a nice haircut. 2 months agoThree stars because it was a last minute appointment and she serviced my hair.Came in to get bangs cut, *$20 was not expecting that, she cut them too low and I told her, but she since she was the pro she said when I “curl” them they would be at level. But I know my hair (it grows fast) and I’ve had bangs before they were long. *Tried to upscale me by telling me I need my ends trimmed and priced $80 that’s without flat ironing (or washing) my hair, I said how are you going to know my hair is even without it being flat, she said oh you’re right. ? If anyone knows please share.2 months agoI love this place, I started coming here around a year ago maybe and ever since I started making it my main place to get my haircut, I usually have Eloisa cut my hair she’s super nice and is great at getting my fav hairstyle down 🙂4 months agoThe staff are both wonderful and very professional. Everytime I go, I specifically ask for Homa, not only is she knowledgeable about her craft, but she makes recommendations based off of what I typically ask for. Recently she made a recommendation about a particular style and it looks super amazing for me. I would recommend this salon to anyone wanting a clean, nice professional haircut in antioch5 months agoMe and my friend came here and had a similar experience. We specifically told them low fade but they insisted on doing a high fade.Homa’s excuse was that she has “16 years of experience and she knows what she’s doing”. She wasn’t even apologetic at all. If you really know what you’re doing you’d know that good manners and being professional goes a long way. It’s part of the job and your 16 years of experience does not show that.
I also noticed that she snuck in an extra $6 on my bill. My friend was charged $22 but I was charged $28. Then she asked me how much I want charged on the card lol. I was like might as well make it $30 but she charged me $31. Whatever I don’t have plans to come back here anyway.
