in the last weekI love getting my haircut here. Stephanie does a fantastic job on my cut and is pleasant to talk to. She always invites my wife back with us and makes sure to cut it exactly how I ask. The vibe of the location is great and I love getting my hair washed after the cut. This place is epic! I wanted to change it up and gave her freedom to do what she wanted and it came out great. It was a change of getting the same haircut for over 30yrs. She did a awesome change upa month agoThis a fantastic place to experience more than just an in and out cut- you could likely find some place faster and maybe cheaper. But Scissors & Scotch is a wonderful place to turn the chore into a very enjoyable part of your day. Customer service is excellent, very receptive. Had a detailed conversation with Shawn my barber about what I wanted to do (hair and beard), how I wanted to look and the style; everything. The sitting/lounge area is super nice, as is the bar area and the selection of drinks is top notch. Prices are higher than most places, but so is the customer experience and that is what you are paying for here- highly recommend, will definitely be going back.in the last weekMy first visit. The stylist, Tami, was friendly and asked enough questions to understand how I wanted my hair cut. My wife liked the cut and she is the toughest critic. The salon is professional and the staff was welcoming.a month agoPretty good haircut and excellent service. Very good value for the money. Only thing keeping it from being a 5 star is I “liked” but didn’t “love” the hair cut. However that’s more my fault than my stylist who really was exceptional. I cannot wait to go back and see what we can do next time.

Texas continues to knock my haircut out of the park! She keeps my looking good and is willing to adapt to new looks I want to try. She uses her knowledge to advise me as to what would look good and what wouldn’t. She is simply the best!
a month agoMarina is AMAZING and always does a great job with my son’s hair. She’s the only stylist he is comfortable with having scissors near his head. We ❤️ her very much!3 months agoThe staff was fantastic. We were groomsmen for a wedding party and they had all hands on deck. Marina took great care of my beard, asking questions and making sure everything was as I wanted. What a great service, highly recommended.2 months agoI paid 40$ not including a tip for a haircut I’d rate 3/10. The barber didn’t listen to me at all, was rude, and just did whatever they wanted. If you are desperate for a haircut it’s ok.6 months agoI booked a shave for my elderly father who is battling cancer. I put on the special requests when I booked that he needs a treat getting a professional shave. On the arrival we were 15 minutes late since he is weak and unpredictable. I understand the 10 minutes window policy. The lady at the counter told me about it, then she said I cannot locate your barber!! She was waiting for us to leave so she charge for the service that was not delivered. After calling him and going back and forth he showed up, in like 10 minutes. This is 30 minutes past our time. Then he can’t do the full shave since time was shortened…. My father trying to get to the chair. My mother and I helping while he stood back and watched us… what about empathy and humanity? This is All about business and money. They embarrassed my father for being sick and weak. The madsage was obvious, “Don’t come here any more”. Not that we were Not welcomed. We were disrespected. So disappointing.

a year agoMy son got the worst haircut of his life 2 days away from starting school. His fade is horrible the line up is some kind of round situation. The cut isn’t even at all. It is so patchy . I can’t even imagine how she thought this was a professional barber cut . How could she even think this is ok. My son cried and now wants to only wear hats .my husband asked the lady to just stop cutting when she kept wacking off the line up wrong. They were closing or I would have asked for anyone to fix it.a year agoEarlier this year I reached out, asking for recommendations for a stylist who not only worked well with children, but children with curly hair. Through that search, we connected with Carolina at Scout’s Barbershop.Our son was not even 2 when he got his first haircut from her, back in February. She talked with him and helped him feel at ease. Since that first haircut he has been back to her twice and has loved it every time. Last night, he climbed up into the chair and settled in like, “Let me tell you about my day!”
Having curly hair myself, it is difficult to find someone with the skill to give me a cut that is cute and done well. I was nervous taking our son, who has tighter curls than I do, to get a cut. Carolina is patient and meticulous. I highly recommend her!
The staff at Scout’s is also wonderful…very friendly and welcoming. My husband, our 2 year old, and I leave happy every time.
4 months agoScout’s always delivers! I’d trust any one of their stylists to ace my cut on their worst day.If you have a favorite stylist I’d recommend regularly scheduling ahead of time as they book up quickly, sometimes week’s ahead, but like I said above, you’re in good hands no matter who you get on a walk-in. Walk-ins should still schedule ahead online to guarantee a spot!
2 months agoReception was not welcoming and almost rude. With 3 hairstylists sitting around I was told that they were booked solid and could not get us in today. We were wanting to give it a try as we had heard positive reviews and that you took walk-ins…clearly we were misinformed.6 months agoLike that, I could make an appointment. Punctual. My stylist listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. Prices are a little high, but so is everything else right now. Only disappointment is I asked for the same beard oil she used because I liked the fragrance. The one she picked for me (kind of pricey) was not the same thing.
