a month agoI can’t recall the name of the talented lady who cut my hair, but she was an older, Hispanic woman with a slender figure. She truly worked wonders, restoring my confidence and making me look fantastic. As soon as I settled into her chair, she inquired about my desired haircut. I entrusted her expertise, telling her to work her magic and choose a style that would suit me best. With a smile, she skillfully began her work.Not only did I opt for the MVP treatment, which allowed me to indulge in some much-needed self-care, but she also provided a top-notch experience. From the soothing hair wash and massage to the meticulous beard trimming and cutting, she left no detail overlooked. The end result was beyond my expectations – I now look amazing without having to break the bank, as the cost was reasonable and didn’t reach ninety dollars like other shops.
I’m genuinely impressed, and without a doubt, I’ll be returning to her salon for future haircuts. She has earned the status of my go-to stylist, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
2 weeks agoI have been a Great Clips customer for over 6 years. I recently had a terrible experience there and so have decided to go elsewhere. I tried Sport Clips and will not be going anywhere else now. The service from when I walked in all the way through until the end checking out was a great experience. I enjoyed the TVs playing while your waiting or getting your cut. The stylists asked questions about how everything was as they were doing the haircut. The hair wash was comfortable where you can sit up instead of laying on your back trying to fit your neck into a basin that was lower than your kneck making it all uncomfortable. The location inside was clean and inviting. I’ll definitely be backin the last weekVicky was very helpful with fixing a previous bad hair cut gone wrong by another company. She was very knowledgeable and helpful with the hair cut I wanted. She had experience and excellent customer service! I will definitely be a returning customer! a month agoTook my sister and nephew here she asked for a medium fade, this guy Antonio just did his own haircut whatever he decided he wanted to do. I told the manager it’s not what I asked for he just sided with Antonio and told me next time go to another guy.. they just ruined my nephews hair which by the way took along time to get it long how he wanted it. Just to have this guy leave him bald. Bad customer service I don’t think I will be returning here since it didn’t matter that I got a haircut that I didn’t ask for. 0 stars.4 months agoI walked in and asked if it was too late to get a haircut 30 minutes before they closed. The guy sitting at the register doing nothing told me yes it was. Then another barber told me it’s fine. So guy at the register got up and ended up cutting my hair. Turns out I needed a translator because I couldn’t speak Spanish. The barber did not look happy that he had to cut my hair. The haircut was decent and took about 25 minutes. However, they charged me 31 dollars for the haircut. I dont know if this was because of their normal pricing or because I couldn’t speak Spanish or because I’m white. Haircut was good, experience was terrible and very expensive, double the price.a year agoWent in Saturday (3/5/22) morning to get a cut, been a while since I had some bad experiences. This time was the worse of them all. I asked for a medium fade with 3 on top and a bit longer up front. Look at the images, that’s what I got!! A 3 at the very top, like 5 on all the sides and not sure what happened in the front. At the barbershop he put gel so it didn’t look that bad but after the I shower it was really bad!! The beard trim was okay, others have done a better job. So inconsistent service, with other barbers other than the owner, first chair and Edgar. Time to look for another barbershop. Another thing, I was charged $50 for this cut and beard trim, I usually pay $30 or a bit more but never $50, horrible cut and extremely expensive, no thank you! Barber’s name on Saturday is David.2 weeks agoSuper clean shop and always a fresh haircut, been coming here for over 5 years6 months agoOne of the best and most friendliest Barbershops I’ve ever been to. Very welcoming and the barbers are nice guys. All of the Barbers there I recommend to you but, I go to Randy he’s my barber always keeps me looking fresh, so if you looking for a friendly and good barber ask for Randy he will take care of you. Also it’s suitable for children to be there because there isn’t any bad language like most barbershops so feel very comfortable even bringing your family by the shop wife and kids and all.

3 weeks agoI had a horrible experience here. When I was prompted about my sideburns I asked for it to be trimmed and tidy. She asked if I wanted a 0 which I thought was fine. She then took that zero up the side of my head way past where it should have ended, making my head look really awkward and strange especially since I have long hair down to my middle back. After telling her this is NOT what I wanted and that this looks horrible she began gaslighting me into believing this is how guys with long hair get it done and this is what I asked for. Then proceeded to charge me $20 for this shambles. Needless to say I’m never coming back and was a repeat customer. Also if you care about your looks don’t come here.a month agoMy name is Gerald Prieto and I received my haircut today at the Gateway pavilions, great clips in Avondale Arizona at 4:16 PM. The lady cutting my hair did not ask me how much I wanted off the top. She started cutting half of what I have on top. My hair does not grow that fast and now my hair is way shorter than what I wanted it to be. When I talked to the manager, she did not care about the service and still had me pay half of the haircut. This is unacceptable. The manager was there during the whole process of my haircut and watched her cut without asking how much to cut off. She never once stepped in and handled the situation. I want a follow up from the owner because this is ridiculous. Specially the girl with the glasses. I asked her to cut my sons hair and she started sweating how nervous she was that she couldn’t do what I asked. Simple boy hair cut.3 months agoI brought my child who is caucasian to get her haircut my other children and I sat in the van waiting for her service to be completed. My African American child needed to use the restroom and was told that she could not and that they did not have public restrooms. As a parent I told the child to tell the stylist that she was waiting on her sister who was in the chair getting a haircut. She was afraid because the stylist Jazzman was aggressive from the beginning. As a parent I went to the door and asked Jazzman the stylist. My child can’t use the restroom While waiting on her sister? Jazzman “said is that a question? I said yes I’m asking if the child could use the restroom!She said No! I wanted to walk off but my child services had not been completed. She stood in the walkway as if she was blocking the area! I stood there as well She said some inappropriate words while I was talking to my child! I tried to talk to Jazman at the end and she was still on ?. Disrespectful and denied my child access to the restroom. The other stylus I say, did an amazing job.IThe other stylists I say did an amazing job stated that a lot of transients come in and asked to use the restroom to do drugs and I understood. But once you realized Jazzman that we were paying customers, you should’ve allowed my child access to the restroom.. I’m only giving 1 star only because I can’t post without doing so! Bad customer service!!!!
