2 weeks agoI’ve had bad experiences here. I was told my results would be ready in 2 days. My symptoms got worse so I called at the 2 day mark they then said itll be 4 days. So I called at 3 day mark at 9AM. Receptionist said your results are in the DR will call you. 12pm rolls around, no call. I call again and receptionist says she will email me results. No email. Then 5pm rolls around and end of day and the doctor never called me. Unprofessional especially since i’d called 2-3 times expressing feeling worse and wanting my results.2 weeks agoI recently went to brentview urgent care for management of an ear infection. The staff was all warm, efficient, and friendly. Dr. Darvish was very thorough and was able to catch an ear infection that two other providers couldn’t catch. Overall, great experience. 10/10 recommend!2 weeks agoTerrible care! After calling 15 times to get lab results, they never called back. I had to go back first thing on the 5th day feeling really sick to find out the results were positive for two different bacterias that required antibiotic. The only way for them to apologize was that they were not going to charge me for their services. I would advice you to go somewhere else but to this clinic.7 months agoI went there because of a bad fall. Checking in was easy, everything felt clean. They took an x-ray, doctor gave me a couple of prescriptions to treat what turned up. The wait was long (>2 hours), but that’s to be expected on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I was travelling from Canada and was very worried about the cost, but they billed my travel insurance directly and the whole experience was seamless. Highly recommend!5 months agoThe worst urgent care ever!! I paid cash filled out forms I waited an hour and 20 min and everyone that got there after me was called before me!!! The receptionist excuse was I didn’t see you!!!! I paid cash $169 after the fourth person got called that I was ahead of I finally had it got a refund and left!!!! Don’t be fooled by there reviews this place is horrible!!!! There are plenty of other urgent care places blocks away don’t go here.

3 weeks agoMy husband went to the ER because he had extremely low sodium levels. Doctors nurse called and said it was dangerous. She said he needed to he rushed to the ER. I had to drive home after midnight to get his medications. He was not being seen by a doctor who was willing to prescribe his meds. He is a victim of a spinal cord injury and was suffering from a serious UTI. His blood pressure was skyrocketing and he was in a lot of pain. Yet they were doing nothing about it. “His” nurse was rude and uncaring! She acted like a egotistical teenager. We will never go back there! We have had several bad experiences there.2 weeks agoHorrible experience ! I am a veteran 20 year RN … I go to the ED w a health crisis and my insurance is out of state they said how much can I pay I said 25 got a receipt for that amount and when I checked my bank statement they charged 496 dollars the entire ED amount .. FRAUD !! I got no receipt for that amount … and they won’t reverse it until after 10 days when it’s “processed” who operates this way ?!?! It’s fraud !! I have contacted everyone I know and plan on writing a long letter to their president … DON’T GIVE THEM A CARD WHEN YOU GO THROUGH THE ED!! Just state you have no way of paying or else they will take your card and charge the entire amount beware !!!!!!6 months agoEveryone is great Here at SM. Using speech to text to write this. I’m going to St. John’s early in the morning. They take better care of you there.6 months agoDON’T GO THERE! Worst place I ever stepped in. I only gave my name and left and they’re charging me like I was seen by a physician. I talked to them and they said the waiting would be over 3h and I said I wouldn’t wait and they said they can’t do anything about it. Please go to ANYWHERE besides this place.Besides that they are NOT satirized. There’s no hands sanitizers, everybody is squished in the same room and they made me take my mask off for checking my body temperature in the middle of everybody else. 100% lack of respect and are careless for patients. 2 months agoCame in for my daughters physical. There was a pricing discrepancy from what we were told booking the appointment vs when we arrived (66% more!). Front desk handled it with unbelievable tact, understanding and even patiently listened to me ranting. She offered solutions and I was finally “fine” paying it…not her fault. At the end of our appointment, she honored the quoted phone price (Pleasant surprise!) Ladies was simply amazing…unbelievable guest service…she’s 5 stars!!!a month agoBesides being available when I needed Santa Monica Urgent Care, I particularly appreciated that they had the medication I need, so saved me the trip to Walgreen’s. Within 12 hours, I began feeling better and that is continuing throughout today. All in all, my visit was a wonderful experience.a week agoHonestly never go to this facility. It is an operation to try to get you to pay as much as possible for as little amount of time as they can see you.I visited this clinic to help address a sinus infection and when I visited the first thing I was asked was if I wanted to be tested for strep and the flu. None of my symptoms I described to the certified healthcare professionals would lead to that diagnosis yet they asked nonetheless because they wanted to charge for that cost and try to bill it for insurance.
After a 20 minute visit where they took my blood pressure looked up my nose and then said yea I think this is a sinus infection which they prescribed a z-pack ( after they tried to sell me one directly from their office vs me going to my pharmacy), they had the nerve to try to charge my insurance company $800 for their services.
This is long winded but truly exemplifies what a racket and scam this whole organization is. Please do not fall into the trap!!

Highly recommend!!!3 months agoI have been in excruciating back pain for approximately a month I’ve gone to ER I’m going to my primary care physician and no one has been helping except for referring me and doing their best to try to get answers. My doctor recommended that I go to urgent care and get a shot to help relieve the pain as he was unable to do it at his clinic. I called Santa Monica urgent and went to their office on Colorado where they were extremely caring and gave me shots that helped alleviate some of the pain, Rebecca was extremely professional and the doctor was also very concerned with making sure that she addressed my pain issues and the source of the problem. I highly recommend Santa Monica, urgent care and their staff.
