in the last weekI was told that it would take approximately 15 minutes for me to be seen when I checked in. However, 35 minutes later my name was finally called. I was taken to an examination room where I waited for another 10 minutes before someone came in. Then, I was not seen by a doctor, but by a physician’s assistant. Her name was Lori and she was not very nice. She needs to greatly improve her bedside manner she was very stern and non-caring. She treated me like a child even though I am almost 60 years old seemed like I had done something to make her angry. I asked her how she was doing and finally she smiled and said she was having a great day. By the way that she treated me, it sure didn’t seem like it. Not sure if I will ever go back.in the last weekI have been in twice this week… First doctor Johnson told me I had a viral lung infection and put me on steroids. 3 days later it wasn’t helping and the infection has clearly spread to my eye as it is leaking green gunk. I went in again on the advice of THEIR nurse who I called, and the second doctor Nelson told me he couldn’t see anything wrong and to go home and drink tea. Didn’t even look in my eye that is clearly infected. His tone was very gaslighty and he said this is probably the worse it’s going to get… but what does that mean? Because it isn’t getting better? I haven’t slept in a week, I’m coughing so hard I have to wear a diaper (thanks to being 8 months post child birth and pissing myself when I cough) 24/7, I’ve nearly gone through an entire bottle of NyQuil AND I have a baby at home I have to worry about spreading this to… What does it take to get decent care around here? It’s a weekend or I would see a real doctor, which the one I saw today was far short of if he thinks tea is going to cure obvious conjunctivitis.in the last weekMy doctor was very patient and kind and did his best to make light of the situation. His humor helped me relax and both the nurse and him were very encouraging.3 months agoI ended up here last night due to a cyst around my tailbone, the front desk ladies were very quick and helpful and the check in process was a snap. I was helped by a nurse (Emily) and doctor Lindsey, they were incredible and even though my reason for going in was awful they really made it as good of an experience as it could have been. Emily really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable before they drained my cyst and doctor Lindsey was great about talking me through what he was doing and making me feel better.in the last weekWent into urgent care Friday for what I thought was strep or a sinus infection. Didn’t turn out to be strep but my sinuses. The doctor told me that over the counter doesn’t work and he would prescribe me something. This was at 10AM. I then called at 2 because my prescription still wasn’t sent to the pharmacy. They didn’t answer so I left a message, which I understand, the doctor is too busy during the day to check his voicemail. Then at 4PM nothing had changed so I called again. This time I got front desk and they said the doctor had no notes prescribing me anything and he wanted me to just take over the counter? He had told me specifically that over the counter won’t help at all… so then over the phone he said he would send over the prescription as soon as possible. Well it is now Monday and nothing has been sent to the pharmacy. So thank you Dr. for not following through on a prescription you claimed I’d be getting. I hope for other people’s sakes that they get their prescriptions if something serious is going on for them. Luckily for me I had nothing serious going on and am doing just fine.

2 months agoNever used this place, but not for lack of trying. Only place still open until 10 so it seemed like a perfect fit. Apparently they think they should take FOUR DAYS OFF for the 4th of July. I can hear some of you saying “well that’s what emergency rooms are for.” And if that’s you, you must have a lot of cash hanging around or you forgot how expensive medical care is in the United States. Emergency room is not a viable option and I will have to take my chances and wait until morning with a more competent urgent care provider.2 months agoThe staff are very kind and helpful. The Dr. listened to everything I was saying. Took his time and was very thorough with his diagnosis. I would highly recommend Riverwoods Urgent Care if you want great care.3 months agoDo not come here if like me you feel uncomfortable sharing your social security number. I was first told that they need it my as number so they could billed my health insurance. When I told the person at the front desk that I’ve been to plenty of doctor office and specialist and I ‘ve never had to disclose my social security number the person the me that I could either give her my social security number or I would have to do self pay. When I told her there are no laws that says that I have to give her that information she said that they were a private practice and that it is their procedure to ask for the social security number so that if the patient do not pay they can send the billing to collections. I’m mad to say the least I came to this urgent care looking for help for my daughter. It was the only place open at 9:30 at night so I felt like I had no other option if I didn’t want to go to the ER. The rest of the staff were super nice but I’m never coming back here if I can help it. Asking for Social Security number when is not necessary should be illegal.6 months agoI went in to see the female doctor can’t remember her name. She didn’t really seem to care about the pain I was in. Front desk was nice. But they could really use better doctors who actually look into things and treat their patients with empathy. I felt bad for even going and asking for help.3 months agoFirst and foremost, I would rate these folks a 10 plus if it was an option, so I’ll try to some it up in a few words, I would highly recommend your urgent care needs be placed in there hands any time. I really enjoyed my visit and the care I received was excellent…hands down ?

3 weeks agoBest customer service ever. Best doctor, and nurses and best physical therapist ever. I hate going to clinics cause they take forever, but Concentra has define all those odds. They are quick with appointments, funniest doctors ? amazing physical therapist ❤️ and the best front desk associates ❤️. Concentra deserves all the praise and credit it deserves. My doctor was awesome and funny. The nurses were so chill and friendly like the front desk associates. The physical therapist is the best of em all. He literally listens to you and your pain and will do everything in his power to help. I will consider Concentra in Orem for any clinical help. A must see a must experience.4 months agoI went recently to take a test as instructed. The staff was very friendly and courteous. However per policy I had difficulty taking the test. The only thing that made the visit an inconvenience for me was I was told I couldn’t get anything in writing or recorded to explain the policy I was being told so I could ensure my cooperation in trying to take the ordered test. I would suggest there be a form able to be given with explanations available for people to show they attempted to test but were unable to for whatever reason.a month agoI received xrays from this site and it was awful. I was there for a cheat xray 2 view, the tech was inexperienced a d he didn’t know what he was doing, he shot a xray of me without a cassette re exposing me unecessarily. I was supposed to have 2 xrays done, due to his mistakes I was exposed 4 times.2 months agoI paid $130 for a DOT card/physical. Only to find out after that I can’t qualify for a DOT card because of a medication that I am on. The fact that they DONT warn people before they pay, is ridiculous. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THEM THESE QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU HAND THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! So deceiving and deceptive!!!4 months agoI needed a physical and a blood draw •I spent 45 minutes waiting •It took another hour, two people, and 3 needle sticks to do a simple blood draw •They didn’t even do it correctly and now I have to go in for repeat tests. I’ll be going somewhere else this time and hopefully the next place will be more professional
