a month agoLone star 24 hour emergency is the BEST emergency room I have ever visited. When I arrived they got me my own private room right away. The staff was extremely attentive and they took excellent care of me. They were able to provide me all my testing very quickly and even brought me warm blankets to make me more comfortable. My family had a very inviting waiting room where there was free coffee, drinks and an assortment of snacks. I hope I don’t have to visit here often but if I do need an emergency room this is where I’m going. I would highly recommend them.2 weeks agoWe had a wonderful experience at Lonestar ER, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with the medical industry. We were seen quickly and felt like a got a very thorough and honest conversation with the doctor. The staff was super friendly and hospitable. Of course you hope to never have to go to the ER, but if I ever need it again, this is where I will go.3 months agoI don’t think anyone enjoys going to the ER, but our experience here was as great as could be. Everything from check in to check out went smooth. The lady that checked us in was incredibly kind. She was empathetic and genuine. My Dr. Took great care of us. He answered all questions thoroughly and made sure to communicate throughout the entire process. Our nurse was equally as great. He provided warm blankets and did his best to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. He also went above and beyond to communicate when testing would happen and once the results were in. Thank you to Lonestar ER for having such a great team and for taking care of me!a week agoI have always heard they are expensive and nickel and dime you but I had never yet experienced it myself. I was told they will run as many tests as possible to increase your billing statement even when you do not give consent. Well in April 2023 this was my experience also.I was billed $2,663.71 & $1,162 for the same visit, for the same thing, “Visit for the evaluation and management of a patient.” When I called and asked why I was being charged two times, they gave multiple conflicting answers. When I asked why I was being charged multiple tests I never gave consent to they said the doctor felt it necessary. That is Bull.
In my past experiences, the doctor always is supposed to ask, would you like to be tested for Covid, Flu, etc, prior. They don’t just do it and charge you. Nor did I have those things completed. To be charged multiple tests I never gave consent to and have the totals for each test be $492.93 & $492.85, and another $233.06 along with those two large numbers given above is insane.
Disappointed is an understatement.
a week agoI went into Lonestar 24hour Emergency Room on August 31st, 2023 with a serious leg infection. The ER staff were wonderful. I am prediabetic and have circulatory issues in my lower legs. The staff saved my life or saved my leg from potential loss by amputation; my infection was much more serious than I thought. It was a scary time, but the staff was very compassionate, direct and firm with me. I was promptly admitted, seen right away by a nurse, then saw the doctor within 10 minutes or so after admission. Dr. Nakimura put me on IV antibiotics, and I had to spend the night. It was a private room with its own bathroom, large and well equipped. The care was excellent. Lonestar ER is clean and well equipped. I highly recommend them, and if I could give them 6 stars I would.

a week agoReliable and friendly staff always made sure I was taken care of. The lobby is clean and has a complimentary coffee bar. Been coming here for ER visits, drug screenings, and prescription visits. Splendid in all areas and the doctors listened to your concerns and treat you as a human being. I love the care I get here and will keep coming back.a month agoI woke up with pink eye. My eye was all crusted over, it hurt, and a hot compress wasn’t helping. I went to MedPost as a walk-in and waited no more than 5 minutes to see a doctor! He treated me, and called in an antibiotic eye drop prescription. I have utilized this location a lot in my 3 years of living here for myself and my kids. The true 5 stars belong to those who work behind the counter and the nurses. No matter what day you go, those are the employees who have the smiles and truly take care of you. In my experience, the doctors rotate, so it’s hit and miss- there is one doctor there who is simply emotionless, abrasive toned, and doesn’t listen to the patients. He gets a zero star and this location should get rid of him if possible. I know people who unfortunately will not return to this location because they showed up on a day where this doctor was the one on shift.4 weeks agoI called ahead for two physicals for school. Price was good $25 per. We were not allowed to make an appt. I Arrived at 10. I had to pay before being seen. We sat in the waiting room for 1 hr. Before getting called to the back for height and weight. We were then placed in a smelly hot room. We waited in the room for 45 min. before being seen. Overall not too bad. The doctor is very helpful and answers all questions.a month agoPatient care oriented, welcoming, and fast. Everything you want and need in a clinic with a more family approach feel. Honestly had a great experience for feeling so sick. Thank you to the staff!

a week agoAbsolutely love everyone who works there! We were in and out of there quickly. Definitely would recommend!in the last weekI have had to visit twice now. Once got myself and once for my teenage daughter. Both times, everything was wonderful. From the front desk staff, to the nurses, the PA, EVERYONE is amazing, kind, funny and makes the experience a good one. ?a week agoIt was Saturday and I felt like I had Covid19 I had never had it before and was nervous. Dr. Steitle and Staff were very helpful and kind and put up with me. The Doctor gave me all the meds I needed and I felt almost normal by Sunday. In sure if I had not co men’s I would still be in bed.a week agoThere is an extremely witty male practitioner who amazing with my kids. Very knowledgeable, funny and comforting. I wish I could remember his name, so I could recommend him personally. Much respect.3 months ago1st time coming here for myself, and Russell Steitle was the best!! He has the best bed side manner and very caring. He doesn’t rush you out, he took his time to listen to me and my concerns. I 100% recommend this urgent care. The receptionist & LVN were great and friendly too!
